What do we do to cure the lack of good news? Well, this!


Pro3Studios is proud to announce that we will be running another Marathon this summer, and that is, of course, a Spyro the Dragon 72-Hour Marathon! We'll be running the marathon for The Children's Miracle Network, but what does that mean? It means that during the marathon, we'll be taking donations to raise money for this charity.


We have decided that we will have this on the second weekend in July (July 8th - July 11th). It will start on a Thursday and end on a Sunday.

We will have our own donation page, so donate to that page instead of the Children's Miracle Network's donation page. The benefit of donating to us is, of course, PRIZES! Donating during a Spyro game will put you in a raffle for that current prize. You can enter in as many raffles as you want, provided that you donate $5.00 per raffle entry. There will be a prize for just about every game that we play and a prize for the person who donates the most money!

We'll be giving away Spyro the Dragon custom-made T-Shirts, Video Games, Strategy Guides, a few other prizes.

UStream is the site we will be using. UStream is similar to YouTube in some ways, but streams live video instead of recorded video. On the side of the marathon's live video player, there is a chat box for viewers watching the stream. You do not have to create an account, BUT it is HIGHLY recommended because we will be able to have a name that we can respond to (otherwise, you will be UStreamer[Insert_Numbers_Here]. There is a slight delay in the video, so be patient when it comes to us responding to your questions.

As stated in the video, there will be a live commentator. What this means is somebody will be able to talk to you using a microphone through UStream and give updates and talk about random trivial things like internet memes and such. Just make sure to not spam the chat room.

So use this page to discuss which music we should play during the music streaming portion (before the games start to play) and ask any questions (only ask if you can't find the answer using the resources provided).

The grand prize has been decided, but only small details will be reveled, but very small hints will be given out as to what it is.

Ah, I remember this. First saw this on the Spyro Forum. Its going to be good IMO, much better than a movie about a video game series if you ask me.

I will make sure I get to see this event, I remember the Crash Bandicoot marathon last year and it was cool. Good news.

Great to see a few veterans. Hopefully Dark will look over here. He never replies to emails or PMs. If a few people know how to get in touch with him, please try to see if he can post something about this on the main site. I'd prefer if he contacted me privately about it for more information.

We're going to announce the grand prize soon. It's something that I guarantee almost nobody has. I'm not giving away what it is yet, but... it's something worth saying "Yatta!" over...

It's completely international. You do NOT need to live in America. PayPal is too, so anyone around the world can donate (regardless of your money currency).
