You look upon the lands of Untile. The rivers and forests of the east. The coast and grass land to the south. To the north frozen lands lie. To the west a desert. In each people and civilizations live and grow. In the heart of all the lands is what is said to be the perfect land, sacred land, holy land. Land said to have what any could need. In the heart of all lands. is where souls are born and destroyed. souls glow pure white at start but will dim, dim to red, redder depends on the evils made by that soul. There are no true births but awakenings.Awakenings from pools of life. That is what I have truly learned.


I woke from the darkness, the nothingness, the lifelessness. Warmth surrounded me. I knew not what i was, or who. I saw with true eyes, and was alive. But with life comes draw backs. I felt my surroundings. Water, i was in water. I couldn't breathe, I would drown. But i knew not what i was to now how to escape to water. Thoughts flowed into my mind. Real thoughts, ones with word and some knowledge. I was a dragon, that was all i knew. I dragon with four legs, with claws and talons at the ends. I saw how i was shaped basically. I was thin, slender, but strong looking. I saw the way my body looked and worked. Air was running from me. But soon came movement, how to move when to move, why o move. It all came with patience. Now was a time to move. Move snake like through the water. So i did. Up and up, through the warmth of the water. Air gone, soon death would come. No,something held it back. I came finally to air. Full air, lifeful air.
life flew through me. Senses sharp, accurate, precises, perfect almost.
Cold. Cold went through me, but only a second ago the water was so warm. So lifeful. Darkness, i could see nothing. How. it was so light only moments ago?! patience. Things came with patience, and will now, and again. All things did. Sight came in minutes, life returned to my eyes. I saw. Oh, to feel how i did when i first saw. grays, whites, and blacks came first, solids and liquids i saw, not in much color. then in a burst it came. res, blues, every color all at once. The speed of the burst of color left me dazed. a daze that lasted almost an hour then sleep, an over whelming sleep took me. and i dreamed. dreamed of midnight.The bliss time of night, so lifeful. So peaceful.

I woke, light had made the, the what? Where was i? I looked around, as the thickness of sleep left me. Stone and wisp like things surrounded me. Stone of origin unknown to me. Light glowed from it giving sight to me. I was in a cave, had to be. I got up to a stand upon my four legs. They wobbled, but held. Carefully, i walked to the waters and gazed down. I saw a dragon, female, with six horns sharp as daggers, scales dark as Midnight skies, her eyes dark green, a forest like green. The under belly and main part of the wings of this dragon were Dark blue, almost back. They were strong with blades at the end. A tail curved round and revealed it self. It too had a blade at it's end. It was me. It move when i did, and everything. That in the water was me. Me. The image stood in my mind for a while as I drank from the cool water. Thoughts came clearer into my mind. My name is, unknown, I am a female dragon. Age, unknown. I looked again into the waters, I looked maybe 16. could be 19. I don't know where i am, i am in a cave. With no food, and only water.
I have to get out. I need to get out. I need to survive. If i found light, sunlight, i would get out. I have to get out. So done the endless cave i went. I walked for hours only to get lost, and far away from the little i had. The water. Thoughts came, thoughts of uncertainty. Thoughts of some path unknown to me. Left, right, straight, left, left, right, forward. What was this path for? Might as well search. As i walked my legs grew numb and weak. almost to weak to go on. But I kept going. After hours, of what it seemed. i saw light. Sunlight. Warm light. Pure light.
I ran to it, greeted it with a smile and joyous sounds. I had found light, i had found life.
As i emerged from the cave, it was sunset. soon to be dark, I looked about my new surroundings. I was in a forest. The cave i had taken must have been a tunnel connecting to something. But all forests, i thought at the most important part of my mind, All forests have food. It was harder to obtain than i thought. I had nothing but the scales on my back. River, look for a river. A part of me that had been hidden said, an unreachable, unknown part. I looked for the river. That was easy. The ground was moist and it got wetter as I got closer to the river. It was more like a creak.
Darkness was coming at a run. Soon night would fall, it was falling. Had found edible fish in the creak, along with water.Fresh water. Eating fish raw wasn't pleasant, but it filled me. I found a dry spot under a tree and slept. The night was warm, comforting. Thoughts emerged. Knowledge thoughts, important thoughts. What season was it? Midsummer. Where was i? A very rich forest, surely people are close by. Who was i? That thought lingered, it was unknown. Midnight approached, peaceful, wonderful Midnight. I would call my self midnight, though I was sure it wasn't my real name. But how could i know?
Morning came. I woke. I had thought of something to do, today, or tomorrow.
