I was playing through the story of "The Eternal Night", and then Spyro popped up in a scene. So I decided to see if this would work. I pressed the L3 Button during the scene, and he turned into DarkSpyro in the middle of the scene!!!! It was so freaky!!!! I kept pressing it over and over, and he kept switching from Normal Spyro to Dark Spyro all the while the scene was playing. It was so weird!!!! This glitch only works on certain scenes in the game, where the entire scene is in Full Screen. It won't work when the scene is in Widescreen, though. (Trust me. I've tried.) Check out this funky glitch I found!!!!

It's not a glitch, you can switch to dark spyro anytime except for in dreams.

It is most likely because the cutsense use the game models and the controls to switch elements are not turned off.

Yeah, I've done it tons of times. It's quite fun too....^.^

It is not a glitch. It was intentionally programmed so as not to frustrate gamers that Spyro was reverted back to normal during these cutscenes.

However, this cannot be done on the cinematic-style cutscenes. <.<;

I did that same thing all the time, too! Dark Spyro's eyes are so cute in cutscenes

Oh, thanks for clearing that up. But it looked kind of like a glitch to me, so that's why I said it was a glitch.

Normally... glitches involve programming bugs... such as camera issues, or having the character freeze in some spot.

This is a bit of an "Easter Egg"

Bit of a dum question but have you compleaed the game and done the dragon challenges?

Thats the whole point! Because then its not realy a glitch!

Yeah, I have. It's just something I thought was strange. I didn't know that the gamers put that in there on purpose, so that's why I said it was a glitch. Hope that clears things up.

We call a fun little trick like that an Easter Egg. >.>

O.K. Thanks for clearing that up guys. Oh, and by the way, there ARE glitches in this game. I saw a video on Youtube when Spyro was floating in the air!!!! What they did was jump off of the platform down to one of the steps, then jumped and hit one of the spikes. Spyro was thrown back.............NOWHERE!!!! He was standing in mid-air!!!! It was freaky!!!!

They may be glitches on the Wii Spyro game as well. Remember back when they thought that Spyro 5: A Hero's Tail was unglitchable???? Well, they thought wrong. We'll just wait and see if there are any glitches on the Wii Version. Only time will tell.

Look... I've played the game PLENTY of times... all of the glitches talked about on the PS2 fail to work on the Wii.

I know the glitches don't work on the Wii. I'm just saying that no console video game that I know of is unglitchable. It may be a while before they find glitches on the thing, and there may be no glitches on it (which would mean that it's the first video game I've ever heard of without glitches). We'll just have to wait and see.

That Tall Plains Glitch has happened to me, too!

At first, I didn't noticed that

It's extremely fun to switch between dark and normal Spyro!!! I just sit there for hours on end in cutscenes flicking between them!!

I accidently switched between Dark and Normal Spyro during a cutscene, and I hadn't known that that could happen and I started to laugh so hard.

I can't remember why I haven't been on here for a heck of a long time... It's good to be back though I don't really like playing the Spyro games at the moment... My interests lie somewhere else now, but I don't know where... Anyway, I still love taking screenshots of the funny things like switching between dark and normal Spyro at the best moments!!!
