Chapter one
Spyro skipped from land to land, admiring the new age. The wind calmy sang in a duet with the birds. He turned back to catch glimpse of Cynder. Cynder was racing towards him, desperate to catch up to him. She laughed and smiled when she cought up to him. Spyro grinned and greeted her by nodded his head and waving. Cynder patted him on the back.
"Hello Spyro," She said, settling down onto the short, bosky grass. Spyro stared. "About what I told you..." She said, drifting her speech. She expected Spyro to understand.
"What thing?" He asked, bulging his eyes. His crest flopped by the side a bit. Cynder sighed, and began I long silence. "Oh... That thing," He said, being silent himself. He looked at Cynder. [i]Was this the right time? [i]Should he tell her, or not? He blinked hard to gain courage. "Yes, I do love you," He said blushing. Cynder had wanted him to answer this question for a whole year. "And I want our relationship to last a long time... forever?" He suggested, eyes twinkling. Cynder hugged him and rubbed against him.
"Of course I will!" She cried, eyes gleaming. Spyro rubbed beside her too. It wasn't broken anymore, it was fixed. This was how it really should be. Spyro lifted his head away and stared blankly into Cynder's emerald green eyes.
"What about Ember?" He wondered, trodding around Cynder. Cynder smirked.
"That pink idoit? I don't think so. You have me, our love will last forever and ever, and no pink ***** is going to stand in our way. I don't care if she can't take it that she knew both of us were in love, she knows it deep down, so we don't need to worry about her," Cynder explained. She didn't notice that she was lurking behind her, listening to every word she said. She cleared her throat and clenched her fists. Cynder turned round. "Oh... It's you," She grumbled. Ember closed her eyes and sighed, before she could rage. Suddenly, she opened eyes full of fearsome fires that fluttered around like an old orange blanket thrown out in winds most uncommon. Cynder growled, and revealed shadows darker than the dark skies of Spyro and Cynder's previous bloodcurdling adventure.
"I heard every word," She growled, ready to pounce. Spyro didn't stop them, he stayed there watching, shivering. "You know me and Spyro are together, you know we are having a pretty wedding this monday, and you think you can get in the way of it!" She snapped, opening her jaw which revealed sharp teeth that could shred apart Cynder within seconds. Cynder snarled back as a remark.
"Let it begin shall we, my pink *****?" She said, eyes narrowing.
Ember clawed her with her tubby claws. Cynder screamed and blacked-out, but quickly got back on her paws. Ember didn't see what was coming. Fears taunted Ember's mind of marrige with Spyro, fear killed her mind in a flash, fear ate her up. Cynder took one last breathe, and the fear leaped away in the forests. Ember had a tear run down her face. She had been knocked over by just one breathe of Cynder. She had to fight back. She didn't want to lose.
