Why do Spyro Spoofs only feature The Legend Of Spyro Series? [CLOSED]

Now I've seen many different spoofs, musicals, etc. on Youtube of people using clips from the Legend of Spyro series. I thought it was cool at first, but after a while, I grew bored of some of them. So now I'm curious to know why they only use those three games. What about the previous 5? Is it because they don't own them? Or something else? Post your theories here.

I made one Spyro Spoof, in 07, using ANB and TEN, because those were the only scenes I had access to (This was before my HD PVR).

Please note I am a fan of both Original Spyro and LOS, but I'm dead serious when I say this:

Original Spyro's too cool and perfect to spoof for some people.

Well, I got some spoof ideas for the first 3 Spyro games. They're just ideas now, but they could be made into a spoof. (If only I could get a camera.) My ideas are not going to insult the franchise or anything, but instead show songs that can be related to footage from the original franchise.

I've had ideas for original Spyro spoofs, but I just never got around to making them.

At first, I made LOS spoofs because that was the newest Spyro and I was a fan. Now I'm just mocking him.

I also kind of agree with IsisStormDragon.

I agree with IsisStormDragon too.

LOS is just more fun to poke fun at, I guess, given how 'epic' and 'serious' the series is smilie

I don't know about the spoofs, but the AMV's are pretty obvious:

More cutscenes, more dramatic movement and camera, more story to base it on, much better graphics, I could go on.

And of course, the whole Cynder- and SpyroXCynder-fanbase make hundreds of couple-videos. smilie

Yeah, it's true!

Also, original Spyro is already comical, so making a comical video about him would be a tad redundant. And like Rocky said, LOS is so 'serious' and 'dark', portraying it in a random/riduculous light comes naturally to many.

Simple enough, because the only things of the original Spyro that you can make have already been done... TLoS its a hell of a lot easier to make fun of...
