No, it doesn't work. That cheat is a hoax.

I think that people probably wanted to get others excited about the game, so they put that "cheat" there. Kind of dumb to put a cheat that doesn't work online.

You know, I REALLY hate when people complain about the lack of cheats.

Okay, so you're stuck on one specific point in the game. You have to keep trying, it's the only way to come up with a good strategy of how to ACTUALLY win.

That's how I beat Mario Power Tennis in 3 hours! ^.^

Yeah. After I first cheated in YotD because I really wanted to get to Super Bonus, I felt really bad about it and guilty. So, never do that unless if you don't mind guilt, which as far as I know everyone minds guilt.

However, after beating ANB I found it fun to play through again with the cheats on. Especially the magic one, because in my first play through I used melee all the time because I was afraid of my magic meter running out, so I played through again with the cheat activated and made cool effects with the elements.

I don't use cheats at all when I'm stuck on one part of the game when I'm playing it the first time. I like to use the cheats after the game, knowing that I've already finished it the first time through on my own, and that gives me a sense of pride.

Honestly, I don't know if I would've used the cheats in ANB if I'd known about them sooner. These days, I use them to do a quick play through the game for the story just for kicks (and because I love Tall Plains, Concurrent Skies and Convexity smilie).

As I've said, I would have loved some cheats for TEN. That game made me furious on multiple occasions because of the way battle is set up. Being mobbed by apes? Yeah, there are more fun things to do with your free time. Now that I've played the game a couple of times through and have Dark Spyro, it's not so bad, but you couldn't pay me to start a completely new file.

Well, I did just fine without the cheats. >.>

The only reason I liked the cheats in ANB was for two reasons:

Mass fireball spamming= TONS O' EXPLOSIONS
And all foes insta killed via electricity breath'd into lava/poisonous water/bottomless pit.

Arg, why isn't anyone getting this?! I know a lot of people don't like cheats, which is fine. But a lot of people (like me) DO like them, and some people, like the eight-year-old who's mother posted here for help, need them to finish the game period. That poor kid never got to see what happens in the game because no one in her house could help her get past one part. Those of you who are gaming gods (apparently) scoff at this, but I feel bad for this kid. Heck, I nearly gave up the game at one point out of sheer frustration; some people don't particularly enjoy repeating the same darn thing over and over again until they happen to get lucky.

Well, I get it.

My brother recently dropped an email about quitting because two months later... he can't beat Arborick. >.>

It just takes practice to complete a task. Sure, you get frustrated, but I look at that frustration as a learning experience, and tell myself that I can beat that game. That's what I do when I'm stuck.

Well, I got stuck on many occasions on my first play through of TEN, but you know what? I just put down the game when I got over-frustrated, took a break, then tried again. And a couple of times when I REALLY got stuck, I just asked here for help or looked at dark52's walkthrough or someone else's. First time, Ravage Rider, told to use Earth Flail, and on second stage to glide whilst running (goes faster) and rotate the camera to keep track of him with my finger on the L1 button ready for when he turns. Second time, Dragon Challenge 4, use Earth Flail to pwn.

I finished the whole game all by myself. Now I'm using Dark52's guides to help me find all of the quills and Magic/Health Relics.

Side Note: Someone should change the name of the topic, since we all conclude that there is no infinate health cheat in this game.

Frustration is something most of you can get over and I managed to do it by sheer force of will, but it's not so easy to overcome when you have AD/HD. Once frustration sets in, it becomes very likely that a game or task will be permanently dropped.

Me neither. I've noticed that the game is getting progressively more difficult each time I re-play it and I am NOT pleased. Stupid Blunder Tails won't even respond to a melee attack to get them onto their hind legs anymore and they actually killed me while I was performing a Dark Fury. >(

Yeah. I did a fury and they killed me too. I've heard that Ice Fury eliminates them without harm though. And with the Blunder Tails just before Skabb I, I managed to Earth Fury them and defeat.

I'll have to try the Ice Fury if I re-play TEN again (I'm in the Celestial Caves now).

Oh, I love the ANB cheats. Sometimes, I'll just turn that one on, plug in the codes, and play the whole thing through. It's like playing a movie. smilie

Normally when I get stuck (I consider getting stuck as have tryed more than 30 times) in a game I quit and go to bed, then Normally I beat the place in 1. or 2. try the next day (Then I think: Why the heck was that so hard yesterday?)
Many people in here surely knows this way to good...

You have to stand virtually right next to them. Otherwise, they can be glitched as "out of range" of the fury.

Strange... All they do to me is push me away from where I am supposed to do the fury. The the fury blasts out at the side smilie. But they shouldn'y be able to harm you.
