Anyways, this story is a dark story, for anyone who likes dark stories.

Summary: Ever since Icy turned evil, things had never been the same. Now Spyro and Cynder have had another dragon that has a dark history. He's killed several innocents and is even worse than Icy. He is pure dark. Along the way, Bone let's go of his past and tries to turn good, but it just doesn't work. He is soon banished from the lands by his own parents. Bone travels the lands alone in search of a family, and also a place to live without being judged because of his past. He soon meets a strange spirit and is corrupted. Now he wants to destroy all dragons who ever judged him for his actions. Will Bone prevail with his plan?

I'll try to get done with the fanfic as soon as possible. While you are waiting for this you can read the fanfic as I finish it up. It is: Spyro's kids: Comet.

Sort of sad Comet ended... it wasa nice ending though. When does Bone start?

Tomorrow morning. Well, you know what they say: Stories don't last forever.

And here it is!

Chapter 1 Bone

Spyro stared up into the stars. He thought about his three lost children. Would they return to him? He hoped they were all right.

Cynder, meanwhile, was preparing to have her new baby dragon, she hoped this one would last. She looked at Spyro, "Thinking of them?"

"I just want them to come home so badly. I miss them so much." replied Spyro. Tears began to flow from his eyes. He began to cry.

"Now, Spyro, we have a whole new baby coming. We must make this one last," replied Cynder, then she began to feel the baby coming, "Spyro! It is here!"
Spyro supported Cynder, telling her to breath deeply and stay calm. He supported her for about 5 minutes until it came. He glanced at his new black dragon hatchling.

Cynder clutched the baby in her paws. She rocked back and forth as the her baby began to cry. She glanced at Spyro, "Here he is."

The hatchling began to cry in her arms. Its eyes were blood red, along with its crests and tail spike. Its horns were white. And lastly, its wings were black with a dark blue in it.

Spyro took one look at his new baby and gasped, "It's... black!"

"What's wrong with that?" asked Cynder. Was there something wrong with her baby?

"You know what is wrong with it! It will probably turn out to be just like you back then! Thus is the future of every black dragon!!" snapped Spyro.

"Spyro! You know better than to speak of our baby like that! Now be quiet, the baby is sleeping." growled Cynder.

"Yes, dear." replied Spyro. He was mad and also ashamed of himself for snapping like that.

The black dragon snoozed away in Cynder's arms.

Cynder said, "We have to name it eventually."

"Fine, we will name it Wrangler." replied Spyro. He was proud of the name.

"No. I want my son to have a tough name, one that will make bullies be afraid! His name will be Bone." replied Cynder.

"What a clever name..." said Spyro sarcastically.

Cynder glared at him to back off. She rocked the baby back and forth, "You have a bright future ahead of you."

Aw... Spyro isn't too fond of Bone. At least he's got Cynder. With a father acting like he hates you, I wouldn't be surprised that he goes evil. Still, Spyro's past does give him fair warning... aw, how cute.

Chapter 2 Dreams

Bone rested fast asleep in the dark cave next to his mother. He then heard a noise and woke up. He growled softly, wondering what had woke him up. It turned out to be a small cricket chirping outside. Bone pounced on it and waddled back to his mother. He laid down next to her warm belly. He fell asleep once more.

Bone twisted and turned in his sleep. He opened his eyes to see that he was not in the cave, not even in the world. He was in a whole different dimension. He stared out into the shadowy realm.

Bone... You are dreaming Bone... hissed a strange voice. It sounded wicked.

Bone shivered and turned in every direction to find the source of the voice. He stopped looking.

I am in your mind, Bone... And you are in a dream... hissed the voice. It echoed across the strange world.

Bone then wondered what a dream was. He screeched quietly.

Now wake up Bone... Wake up... hissed the voice. It echoed through Bone's mind.

Bone stared around the strangle dimension. He began to cry.


Bone awoke in the cave, his parents still sleeping. He glared out into the dark village to see a beautiful blue butterfly. He had never seen any thing more beautiful. He slowly got up from his position, careful not to awaken his mother. Bone walked out of the cave and began to chase the butterfly.

The butterfly kept flying out of reach. It flew high up into the air.

Bone sprang off the ground and swiped at the butterfly.

The butterfly swooped down to the ground and flew throughout the village.

Bone waddled after the butterfly. He swiped at it, only to miss again. He was getting really aggravated.

The butterfly flew towards the end of the village. It landed on a small rock.

Bone waddled towards the butterfly and jumped at it.

The butterfly flew up into the air, inside a dark forest.

Bone waddled after it and jumped for it as high as he could. He swiped for it, but missed and hit the ground hard.

The butterfly flew away in the windy, misty, fog ahead.

Bone stared into the fog and began to shiver. He began whimpering softly. Then strange monsters began walk out of the fog. Bone screeched and turned around to run away, but tripped on a rock. Bone hit the ground hard and began to cry. Then he saw a paw in front of his head. He gazed up at the owner.

A black dragon stood there, glaring at Bone. It was the ugliest thing he had ever seen.

Bone began to cry even more. He tried to back away, but then looked to see the monsters coming closer. He gazed at the dragon.

Apparently, the watch dragons had heard Bone crying and pointed a big light at him.

Bone closed his eyes and then opened them again to see the dragon had disappeared along with the monsters.

The watch dragons all ran towards and alarm and pulled it. The alarm rang loudly, causing all of the dragons to wake up angrily. They all marched out of their caves.

Bone cried loudly, for the sound was hurting his sensitive ears. He laid on the ground crying.

Spyro and Cynder came out last to see their child screaming. Cynder rushed to Bone and picked him up. She looked at his body, no bruises. She took him into the cave and laid him on the cold stone ground.

Bone shivered, but eventually stopped crying.

The alarm turned off and all of the dragons went back to sleep.

Cynder laid down and wrapped her wing around Bone and cuddled him up against her stomach.

Spyro laid down next to her, exhausted. He fell asleep as soon as he laid down.

Cynder fell asleep too.

Bone was the last one to fall asleep. He thought about what he had saw.

Chapter 3 Figure

Bone awoke the next morning to see that his parents were gone. He heard voices outside the cave. He slowly waddled out of the cave. He stared out at what he saw.

Several dragon figures surrounded his parents. They were all wearing strange amulets. One of them was the black figure he had saw the other night. It seemed to be watching him.

"Look! I already told you: You can not take our village!!" growled Spyro. He glared at the dark figures.

"Nonsense. We do not wish to take this lovely village. We wish to take him." replied one of the dragons. It pointed its claw at Bone.

Bone backed away, scared. Why could they want him? He didn't do anything.

"No. You will not take our baby!!" cried Cynder. She slashed her tail at the black dragon.

The dragon grabbed her tail and threw it away, "Look, lady-"

"No, Rex, don't," said a big red dragon, "We shall leave you alone, but if you decide to give him, then bring him to the dragon city."

"Fat chance." said Spyro. He was not going to give his son to them.

Rex made a fist at him and walked away with the others. The dragons walked into the forest and then a portal opened. They disappeared into it.

Cynder walked over to Bone, "I'm sorry you had to see that, sweetie." She looked towards Spyro.

"Yeah." replied Spyro. He picked up Bone and walked into the cave. He lade him down on the ground. "Watch him, I need to go talk to the fellow dragons."

Cynder laid down next to Bone. She licked his forehead.

Bone stared at his mother, wondering what had just happened. He was worried about what those dragons were doing. He also thought about who they were. But all the thinking made him hungry. His stomach rumbled and he began to cry softly.

Cynder walked over to a pack of meat she had found earlier. She took some of it and cut it into tiny pieces. She gave it to Bone.

Bone sniffed the food. It smelled good. He began eating the pieces. It tasted good too. After eating all of it, he needed to rest. Bone fell asleep after that.

*girly giggle*

Chapter 4 Hunting

It had been 3 weeks and Spyro was teaching Bone how to hunt. He kept a close eye on him and staid in the outer part of the forest. "Bone, you are getting older and I feel you will need to know how to hunt if you are to survive."

Bone was not listening, he was too busy chasing his tail. He stopped, dizzy.

"Bone, stop that!" growled Spyro.

"Yes, dad." replied Bone. He was mad he couldn't do that again.

"What I was saying was, you need to know how to defend for yourself," replied Spyro, "You see that squirrel over there?"

Bone looked to the right to see a squirrel happily eating an acorn. He looked back at his father.

"Go sneak over to it like this," Spyro showed an example of sneaking, "Then pounce on it and don't let it get away!" Spyro showed him how to pounce.

Bone did as he was told and sneaked up behind the squirrel and pounced on it.

The squirrel tried to get away, but it couldn't. It looked at Bone sadly.

Bone was just about to kill it when he saw its look. He got off of it, "I cant do it."

"And why not?" asked Spyro. He was angry about his son not killing it.

"Because, dad, it was innocent. Cant I just go find something that's not innocent?" asked Bone.

"Fine. I will take you tomorrow," replied Spyro, "Come on. Lets go home." Spyro walked out of the forest with Bone.

Bone was very excited about tomorrow. What would he hunt?

Chapter 5 Apes

Bone awoke the next morning. He walked over towards his father who was still sleeping, "Dad... wake up!"

Spyro snored loudly, still asleep. He breathed in Bone's face.

Bone coughed and blocked his snout from the smell, "Dad! Wake up, dad!"

"Wha-what? I'm up! What do you won't?" asked Spyro. He was a bit exhausted.

"You said that you would take me to go hunt something innocent today!" said Bone.

"I will later, five more minutes." said Spyro, exhausted.

"But I want to go now!" cried Bone. He really wanted to.

"Okay, fine. But you can't tell your mother this or she will kill me! Now come on." said Spyro as he got up and walked out the cave.

Bone smiled, excitedly. He followed his father into the forest. He kept following him until they reached a camp site deep in the forest.

"Okay, son, you see those apes over there?" asked Spyro. Several apes of different sizes marched around the camp.

Bone nodded, seeing them.

"They have been very naughty. I heard they stole a sacred crystal. I need you to go and stop them!" explained Spyro.

"But dad, there are too many of them!" complained Bone.

"Don't worry, I'll take on the big ones and you take on the small ones," replied Spyro, "Now ready... and go!" Spyro rushed out into the camp site and immediately began breathing fire on the big apes.

Bone panicked. He rushed into the camp site and began attacking the small apes. They all circled him. Bone slashed them with his tail spike, killing all but one of them.

Spyro had already defeated the big apes. He looked towards Bone, "Finish him!"

Bone pinned the ape and looked at him.

The ape squirmed trying to break free, a scared look on its face.

Bone looked at the ape's look and then back at his father.

"Kill it, Bone." ordered Spyro. He wanted to be proud of his son.

Bone looked back at the ape. He then got off of it.

The ape charged off into a tent and grabbed a red crystal and ran off. He disappeared into the forest.

"Why didn't you kill it while you had the chance?!" growled Spyro. He was very upset.

"I... don't know dad!" said Bone.

"I am very disappointed in you." replied Spyro. He really was too.

Bone squeaked, "I'm... s-sorry d-dad."

Spyro ignored him and instead walked off into the forest.

Bone followed him sadly. He bumped his paw against a small rock and began crying as he clutched it.

Spyro looked at him angrily, telling him to stop. He walked out of the forest and into the village.

Bone was upset about displeasing his father and walked into the village shamefully. He walked into the cave and laid down.

Spyro walked over to a dragon and began to talking to him.

Bone looked around for his mother, but she wasn't any where in the cave. He began whimpering.

Hours later, his mother came back, tired, but Bone was already asleep. She laid down next to him. She then noticed that Spyro wasn't in the cave. She decided to fall asleep.

Bone woke up and saw that his father still hadn't returned. Then he looked out of the cave to see him talking to the strange dragon figures.

Chapter 6 Give Away

"Why have you summoned us? Do you wish to give us that son of yours?" asked the red dragon. It didn't seem to notice Bone, nor did any one else.

"You can take him! He is too much for me to handle." replied Spyro. He sounded like he really meant it.

Bone gasped. Tears began to shed from his eyes. He then looked back at his mother who was still asleep. Then he looked back at his father.

"Are you sure?" asked the dragon.

"Yes. He is sound asleep in the cave. Go in and take him." replied Spyro.

Rex began walking towards the cave.

Bone then knew he had to make a run for it. He ran out the cave.

Rex growled and charged after Bone. All of the other dragon figures growled, "Get him!"

Bone ran as fast as he could, but his little legs couldn't speed him up. Even though Bone thought he was going fast, he wasn't.

Rex reached Bone and snatched him in his paws. His paw seemed to be so big to Bone that he could fit in his entire palm. "Gotcha!"

Bone began to scream. He tried to get loose but couldn't

The screaming caused Cynder to wake up and walk out of the cave. She looked to see Bone in Rex's paws, "Bone! Hold on, I'm coming!" But the other dragons began to attack her.

Spyro stood there doing nothing. He just stared at Cynder.

Bone hissed in Rex's face. Suddenly, a poisonous blast shot out and hit him in the face.

"Ahhhh!!!" growled Rex as he clutched his burnt face. He dropped Bone on the ground.

Bone used this chance to hide inside the hallow of a tree. He was as quiet as possible.

Rex knew he was there though and charged after him.

Bone ran out of the tree and deep into the forest.

Rex reached out attempting to grab him, but missed.

Bone hid in another hollow.

Rex knew he was there and stuck his snout in it. He tried to grab onto Bone with his fangs, but he could reach him.

Bone backed up against the wood, completely scared. Rex's stinky breath fumed in his face.

Rex still couldn't reach him. He tried to for several hours and then finally stopped and walked off.

Bone was fast asleep.

I strongly dislike Spyro now. What a awfull parent.

I must say, black as Bone is, Spyro's more evil than he'll ever be at the moment.

Chapter 7 The Ancient Forest

Bone awoke to see the bright sun beaming at him. He slowly walked out of the hallway. He looked to make sure Rex wasn't still there, which he wasn't.

Leaves blew all over the place as a cold whisper echoed through Bone's mind: Bone... He shivered and walked into the strange forest ahead of him. The trees were a bronze color with golden leaves, the grass was golden, and the ponds were silver. No animals were in sight.

Bone looked around the forest for any source of the village or anyone from it. He forgot how to get back. He walked around the forest, thinking he was heading for the village, when he was really heading deeper into the strange forest. Bone looked at a tree to see a golden staff in its leaves. He grabbed it and whacked at the grass a few times.

The grass was cut. Bone looked at it. The grass then sealed back up as if nothing had happened. Bone was shocked, "What?"

The whispered echoed through his mind again: Bone... The wind blew harder and a silver fish sprang out of the pond and back into it. Bone walked deeper into the forest and saw a huge well. He walked towards it.

Bone looked down it to see that there wasn't any coins down there. He looked at his surroundings: Trees, and more trees, and a giant statue coming right at him. What?! Bone backed up.

The statue was of a purple dragon named Malefor. Bone wondered who this Malefor was. He backed away from the statue as he walked towards him.

Bone backed up into the well. The statue raised its claw to slash Bone. He then fell back into the well.

The statue for him, but missed. It looked down the well.

Bone fell down the well screaming. He expected to hit water, but instead hit hard ground. He looked back up at the statue and then back at his surroundings. He was in a cave. A dark hallway was ahead of him. Bone walked down the hallway and entered a huge shrine.

is the statue alive???

Chapter 8 The Shrine

Bone stopped to see a pedestal in the center of the room. On the pedestal was a silver gauntlet. He grabbed it and placed his on his paw. He raised it and suddenly, a blast of power shot out of it. The blast blew off a big chunk of the wall. Bone gasped and then looked around the shrine.

Hieroglyphics were on the wall. He walked up to them, but couldn't read them. He then looked at the gauntlet he had just found, "Maybe..." He pointed the gauntlet at the hieroglyphics. The hieroglyphics disappeared and left behind words that the hieroglyphics said. They read: Thou gauntlet is ancient. Whoever touches it must be worthy enough or they will be killed. Thou gauntlet is not the only one of its kind. Another one is located on the other side of the world. Equipped with the magic staff in the ancient forest, nothing shall stand in their way.

Bone looked at the gauntlet and then back at the staff. The gauntlet did not do anything, so he must have been worthy. He clutched the staff and saw a crack in the wall. He shot a blast of power out of the gauntlet and at the crack. The wall blew open, revealing a hidden exit.

Bone was just about to leave when he noticed a mummy coffin. The lid was off and nothing was inside. He looked around the room. Nothing. Bone then felt a hand grab his shoulder. He turned around to see the mummy. He jumped away and shot power out of the gauntlet.

The mummy moved out of the way and grabbed a boulder and threw it at Bone. It roared and threw some more boulders. Bone dodged the boulders and shot two blasts out of the gauntlet. Then he raised the staff and magic formed around it. The magic shot at the mummy, knocking it into a wall.

Bone backed up, only to see the mummy still alive. The mummy walked towards him. Bone shot it with power, sending its head flying off. You would think it was dead by now, but the mummy walked over to his head and put it back on. He walked towards Bone again.

Bone ran towards the exit, a ladder leading back up to the surface. He began to climbing it. The mummy climbed after him. Bone reached the top of the ladder and stepped out into the mysterious forest. He looked back to see the mummy about to get up there too. He shot it with power and quickly rolled a stone over the hole just in time.

Bone could hear the mummy roaring as he walked deeper into the ancient forest. He kept walking until he reached a river. He figured the river would lead him back to the village since it had a river in it. So Bone followed the river, only to find that he was still lost.

Bone was sweating really bad. He drank some of the river's water and then looked around the place. Trees were the only thing he saw. Then he saw a small log cabin full of inhabitants. He walked towards it to find a dragon.

"Yes? What do you want?" asked the dragon. He was really cranky.

"I was wondering... could I stay here with you? I have no where to go." said Bone. He was hoping he would say yes.

"Okay, as long as you don't go off destroying this beautiful forest!" growled the dragon.

"Don't worry, I won't." replied Bone. He meant it.

The dragon did not reply, instead he just walked away.

"What's your name?" asked Bone.

"Thomas." said the dragon in a stern way.

Bone shrugged and walked into the cabin.

Hey everyone! I must say that I am leaving tomorrow to go to camp and I won't be back until Friday afternoon. So see you then!

Aw, a whole week without you... hope you enjoy it!

Chapter 9 Visions

Bone lived with Thomas for 12 years. Thomas was always busy and very angry at times. Meanwhile, Bone never did tell Thomas about the gauntlet and staff he had found several years earlier. He always hid them whenever Thomas was around, which was very rare. Still, Bone had to find the other gauntlet. But somewhere out there, a dark evil was waiting for him. And so were the strange dragons.

Bone awoke the next day to find that Thomas was not there. He got up and looked out the cabin window. Thomas was chopping logs. Bone then turned around and reached underneath a small sheet and pulled out the strange gauntlet and staff. He then looked back out the window.

Thomas was still chopping wood. He still had several other logs to chop.

Bone put the staff and gauntlet away and laid down again. He fell asleep a minute after.

Bone was in the dark dimension again. He stared out at the area to see a glass wall. He walked over to it to see himself on the other side of the glass. But this Bone was a lot older, a teen. His muscles bulged and his wings were huge. He had a bloody mouth and was clutching a dead dragon body.

Bone gasped and stepped back, that couldn't be him, it just couldn't. He clawed at the glass.

That is you, Bone, you from the future. echoed the dark voice.

"No it can't be!" cried Bone. He charged into the glass only to fall on the ground. The other him slowly faded away.

Oh, but it is, Bone, it is. You shall become just like me. hissed the voice.

"No!!!" screamed Bone. He ran away from the glass and into the dark mist.

Bone awoke to see that he was still in the cabin. He grabbed the staff and gauntlet and put the gauntlet on. He looked out the window to see that Thomas was just finishing chopping the wood. Thomas walked towards the cabin.

Bone clutched his staff and ran out of the cabin and faraway from Thomas. He ran into the Ancient Forest and stopped 10 minutes later next to a river. He ran up a hill and continued on into the horizon.

Chapter 10 The Hunt Is On

Bone was walking through the Ancient Forest until he reached a dead end. It was midnight and howling was heard. The full moon gleamed and shadowy figures began running down a hill and towards him.

The figures had four legs. At first Bone thought they were dragons, until he saw that they had gray fur. The figures were fast, had furry tails and no wings. They charged at Bone.

Bone backed up into the dead end as he was trapped by the figures. He growled, "Who are you?"

"Wolves, we come in packs you know. And this is our time to go hunt for food!" barked a bloody wolf with a scar on his forehead. It charged at Bone.

Bone jumped out of the way and the wolf ran into a large rock. He pointed his gauntlet at the wolves and shot a blast at them.

The wolves went flying into trees, howling in pain. They all got back up though, and then they charged at Bone again.

The scarred wolf ran towards Bone and opened his mouth wide to kill him. Any second Bone would be killed. "Any last words?!" growled the wolf.

Then, Bone saw a large boulder at the very top of a cliff, directly above them, "Yeah. Watch out!!" He shot a blast at the boulder, sending it falling right into the wolf's back.

"No! You!!!" howled the wolf as he was killed. His bloody body laid underneath the boulder. The other wolves looked at Bone.

Bone knocked them away and got back up. He ran through the forest until he reached a huge waterfall. He looked back at the wolves who were chasing him, then back at the waterfall.

The wolves cornered him at the waterfall. They licked their chops. "I get the head!" howled one of them.

Bone had to decide. Be eaten by wolves, or do suicide off of a waterfall. He had to decide soon.

Then the wolves jumped at him. Their claws were ready to pierce his scales.

Just then, Bone jumped backwards and went falling down the waterfall. All of the wolves also jumped off the waterfall by mistake. They howled as they fell to their doom.

Bone heard a large thunk as the wolves hit the ground hard. Now it was his turn to die. Just then, Bone stretched out his wings. A sudden rush of wind blew him away from the waterfall. Bone began to flap his wings, he was flying for the first time.

Bone flew towards a hill and landed softly on the top. He looked at the horizon to see a huge mountain far off in the distance. He flew towards it.

Chapter 11 Terror Mountain

Bone came closer to the dark mountain. Lightning flashed around it and it was very windy. The mountain had strange green ooze coming out of it. Bone saw a strange black mist at the very top. He landed on a ledge and began climbing up.

Lightning shot at Bone, destroying the rocks he was climbing, causing him to fall. He quickly gained flight and flew up onto another ledge. He continued climbing until he reached a small cave. He walked into it.

The cave was dark and bats were all over the place. They all flew out of the cave at the sight of Bone. He looked around the cave and saw a shadowy figure run by in the shadows. "Who's there?" asked Bone.

The figure ran out of the cave and disappeared. Bone saw a exit on the other side of the cave and walked out of it. A long staircase leading to the top of the mountain was outside the cave. Bone walked up it and saw a flying figure in the dark mist at the top of the mountain.

The figure looked at Bone and then dove down into the mist. It disappeared. Bone walked towards the mist and flew into it. He flew down and found a secret chamber inside the mountain.

The figure was in the center of the chamber, standing next to a green pool of ooze, "Bone... I have been expecting you!"

"Wh-wh-who are you???" shivered Bone. He walked closer to the figure.

"I have many names, but you may call me... Convexity. And you are on Terror Mountain." hissed the figure. A black dragon landed in front of Bone.

"Are you evil?" asked Bone. If he was, then Bone would run away as far as he could.

"No... I'm not evil... I am good. Only the pure of heart may use me on their side." hissed Convexity.. The dragon was an adult and looked just like Bone.

"R-really?" asked Bone.

"Really," hissed Convexity, "Prove your worth by finding the other gauntlet and coming back here. Only the two gauntlets and the staff combined can open the door which I will be waiting on the other side. Now go."

"I will." said Bone. He had to become pure, maybe this could find his family some how.

"Very well..." hissed Convexity as he flew at door and disappeared into it.

Bone flew out of the chamber and away from the mountain. He flew away from the storm surrounding it and above the forest. An ocean began to come into focus.
