Hi,
I'm new to the forum, so I would like to say hi to everyone and thank you in advance for your help.
QUESTION:
In the Electric Cave I can't figure out how to kill the Button Crabs. I've tried hitting them and have tried electric breath.
They just won't die!
PLEASE HELP!!

When you cannot kill something, squash it with tail strike.

And I quote from the game:

Quote:
Use Dragon Time to catch up to the Button Crabs and tail strike them!

yes,it is much easier to use dragon time, use it for the button crabs in all four elemental caves.

Funny, the hint window didn't show up in my Wii PAL copy. I'm kind of lucky Zerodius passed me a pointer on those buggers the night before. smilie

Anyway, yeah, that's what you do - Dragon Time + Tail Strike. It may take a few attempts, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

They always go the same way too, so go the other way and they will keep coming so you can squish them!

Weird, it didn't show up on my PS2 version either. (US)

But yes; use Dragon Time near one of them, then jump and Tail Strike it.

Like Dark_Spyro999 said they go the same way [kinda like a pattern of directions, like one could run in circles a few times then head right twords you.] I would let the little buggars run around for a while so I would memorize their running pattern. So when you use dragon time you'll be able to be one step ahead of the spider. Hope that helpssmilie
