Seriously. They use the guy who does the voice for the Taco Bell Chihuahua, then they use the guy who does the voice for Spongebob, then some random guy that nobody knows about, and finally, Elijah Wood.

He was better acting as Frodo. Tom Kenny was better.

What is the problem with him? Atleast it is better than the voice of Spyro in the first game, EtD, and aTH.

okay...i changed my mind! i think elijah wood does the best spyro. i hope hope they will use him for the future games.

I think Elijah did a pretty good job on Spyro. I'm more of a Tom Kenny fan myself but I still think Elijah was pretty good as Spyro.

And Elijah Wood played Frodo Baggins in 'The Lord of the Rings'.

Me, I like Carlos. I just do, can't tell why.

I think he did in the interview with him in ANB.

That "random guy that nobody knows about" (Jess Harnell) actually became the present voice actor for Crash Bandicoot. Before then, I found he started to become more known via roles of Secret Squirrel in 2 Stupid Dogs (an AWESOME mid-90s cartoon) , Wakko Warner in Animaniacs (arguably his most known role) and Fatso in a couple of Casper video features.

But still, I found Tom Kenny to be my more favored Spyro voice, though I felt that Elijah was well suited for the Legend incarnation.

I really like Elijah Wood voicing Spyro. ^___^ He's now my favorite actor, too! I can't wait for his new starring role in 'The Passenger' later this year. I want to go see it!

I couldn't agree more. Some movies just pick the wrong voice-overs. <.<

Elijah is okay, though he really doesn't sound anything like Tom Kenny (the Spyro VA I grew up with - He's my favorite ), so I still have trouble believing he's supposed to be Spyro.

He's a good VA, however, though he probably has to run up the production bill of the games.

In my opinion, I thought the two best voices were Elijah Wood and James Harnell (A Hero's Tail). I can't believe Harnell is the host of America's Funniest Home Videos! I like that show and him as well! And now that I found out he voiced Spyro in AHT, I twice as much like him! GO JAMES!!! YOU DA MAN!!!!

A little cockiness to give Spyro a little attitude about him is ok but AHT went a bit OTT, IMO.

Hey, in my opinon, I thought both his model and voice was the best in A Hero's Tail. I hate to admit it, actually I don't mind to admit since I hate this actor anyway, I think Tom Kenny sounded sorta dorky in Enter the Dragonfly.

Whichever, if we're looking at Tom Kenny here we should be looking at his performances for Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon as well, and I (and various other people) felt he delivered.
