"What are you up to?"I asked.
"Oh,I'm just playing a little game.It's called,"Kill Everybody."Sounds fun don't it?"
I pushed the table out of the way and picked him up,throwing him to the floor.
"Enough of the games!I want answers!"I screamed,anger welling up in me.
He layed on the floor and laughed."You want answers?Then you have to play my little game.And you must follow the rules.What are the rules?This is the best part:There are no rules!HA HA HA HA!"

A month earlier.....

Thomas Jackson:

I sat in my office overviewing files of the serial killer known as "Mad Jack."The guy had no connections to anyone killed,no real name was known,and his history was completely blank.This guy was a pro.
My phone rang and I answered in the usual way,"Thomas Jackson,FBI Agent.What's the problem?"
"Yeah,Thomas,"I recognized the voice as my partner,Alyssa,"theres been another murder.Looks like Mad Jack's work."
I hung up and prepared to leave.Before I walked out I wrote on Jack's profile,CASE REOPENED.

Quick info here,I made an RP about this a while back,but closed it.The main characters are from the RP,so I didn't make up these charatcers,except for Thomas and Mad Jack.

Mad Jack:
You may not believe it,but being a Serial Killer is hard work.You're not like other killers,you have a reputation.You have a method to all your madness.That's what sets you apart.
Me?I have no method.Only madness.
Does that make me any less a serial killer?No,it only makes me more recognizable.That's how I stay free,how the cops don't catch me.They don't know what I'm up to.
But,there is one who worries me.
An FBI Agent whos been on my case for years,Thomas Jackson.
I just knew He'd love my latest work....After all,who doesn't love a build up to a Grand Finale?

This madman....No,monster,had to be stopped.He was after anarchy,and he was achieving it.
I called Thomas's cell phone to inform him of Jack's location,but when I heard the voice of who answered,I shivered.
"Thomas is a little busy right now,Alyssa.We're playing a game called,"Kill Everybody."

Alyssa:
I looked at the horror Mad Jack had done this time.A family of four killed,heads chopped off,blood everywhere.
There was writing on the wall,Jack had used his victim's blood.I didn't know what to make of it.Jack enjoyed using riddles,and Thomas was the only one who could solve them.
Thomas chased Jack like he had a crush on him,why couldn't he chase me like that?
Focus!I thought.No time to wish Thomas had the same feelings for me that I have for him!
I heard a car door slam and looked out the window.Thomas had arrived.

...Wow...

Cool.

OKay, I am confused. Who is speaking? a girlfriend of Thomas?!

*sigh* Alyssa works with Thomas. She has a crush on him, or loves him or whatever, and she wishes he flet the same for her...(Eragon am I right...?)

Mad Jack:

My suit was covered in the blood of the family I had just killed.Oh,how glorious I felt.
You may wonder how I traverse the city without being spotted.Well,it's simple.The sewers are very open,and they lead right under the abandoned clock tower,at which I stayed.No one bothered looking there for me.
The sewers are also a great place to wash up!Sure,the waters dirty but when you're covered in blood,it doesn't matter.Besides,I shower at the tower every night.
I reached the secret entrance into the clock tower and entered my domain.The place was covered in blood;I did some killing here.There were rotting bodies everywhere.Did they smell bad?Of course?Did I like it?Of course.Did others hate it?Of course.The perfect way to distract someone.
I took a shower quickly then dressed in a nice suit of mine.I only wore nice suits.After all,one must look presentable.
I headed up the stairs until I reached the top.This was where I slept,ate,and lived.
I hadn't gone to the store in a while so I was out of food.Guess I'd have to steal some tomorow.Until then I'd be forced to eat one of the many rats around.I found a dead one and quickly got to work cleaning it and then cooking it.The meal was terrible,but I had something to look forward to.
I walked up to a covered cell and took off the blanket that covered it.Inside was a witness who'd seen me.
"D-d-don't hurt me!"
I smiled."But I need a little fun in my life."I opened the cage and dragged him out.First,I slowly cut out his eyes.He screamed and howled as i cut off each of his toes and fingers.Finally,I pushed him onto my impaling spike(a spike sticking out of the ground I used from time to time).I pushed him down slowly as he made his last plea for me to stop.
"You talk to much."I stated,cutting his tongue out."Problem solved."

Oh my god....

Thomas:

I looked at the blood covered walls,there was a riddle saying,

Hee hee,ha ha,
Hi hi,ta ta!
Tick tock,tick tock,
Is that a croc,or a clock?
Could be both,could be one,
Oh boy,we're gonna have FUN!

For now,the riddle made no sense,but it would later.
Alyssa aproached and told me,"Four dead,one whole family.No prints,nothing."
I noticed that there were pictures of clocks and crocodiles on the wall,all drew from blood."They have any connection to that Ramirez guy?"Ramirez had been Jack's last victim.
Alyssa shook her head."Unfortunately,no.What do you make of the riddle?And what about the bolded words?"
I shrugged."Makes no sense to me.But it will later.I'm gonna call an old friend.See if he'll help."
Alyssa narrowed her eyes."Let me guess,that dirt bag Cloud?"
I sighed.Alyssa never had liked the local bounty hunter Cloud,but he was only person,other than Alyssa,I could call friend."Yeah."

Any guesses on the riddle my good readers?Probably not,but lets see how good you are....

I know! Croc is for the sewers, Clock is for the clock tower, Both could be for Thomas and Alyssa, and one could be for just killing one of them.

Am I right for any of them?

Actually,all of em.xDActually,all the riddles tie in with the end of the story.Which is pretty far away.

I will still try. Lol, I watch alot of shows like this story, I'll find a way to figure them out.

Lol, to tell ay the truth neither am I. I just pick up on little things threw out a story, so that helps me out with the riddles.

Eragon, if you can make the riddles harder then the "Grave Diggers" from Bones, then you might sucsefully make me wonder wth it's saying.

Mad Jack:

I walked into the parking lot to find no one there but one mechanic fixing a CEO's car,and one of those dudes who parks your car for you.
"Sir,you can't be here.Private lot."The parker told me.The mechanic nodded and said,"Now get your a$$ outta here..."
I grabbed the mechanic and started to beat the living hell out of him.The parker looked at me and gulped.
I smiled my best "I won't hurt you smile" and told him,"Park these cars in the way I tell you to,or else."He nodded and got to work.

Later...

When he finished I smiled and patted him on the back."Good job.Now,this one's for my wife,you b*astard!"I used the knife hidden in my sleeve to stab him in the forhead,killing him.
There was a canister of gasoline nearby that I used to cover the groaning mechanic in."This'll hurt.A lot."I told him.
As I left,a pressed the button on the remote and the explosions began behind me.

His wife...? Is there some for-shadowing I see, or just something that sliped out of Mad Jack's mouth?

It fits in with his past and why he's so crazy.

Ah, I see.

Thomas:

It was later in the evening,I had given up on the riddle solving.Alyssa was just outside my office,I could see her through the glass windws that seperated my office from the rest of the Police Station.She was going over some things with the other cops about Mad Jack.Every once in a while Alyssa would glance at me.
I would've had to been stupid not to realize she liked me.I felt sorry for her,she was chasing after someone she couldn't have.
Not because I disliked her,she was fantastic and beautiful,but I just couldn't return the feelings.
My phone rang and I answered.I hung up afterwards and prepared to leave.I had a parking lot to see.

Later...

Two people dead,hundreds of cars blown up,and an entire city in panic.Screw you Mad Jack.
My job was hard enough as is,but he just always makes it even harder.
Alyssa came up to me shaking her head."The man's crazy."
I laughed."He's a crazy genious.Which is bad."I looked at the cars around me.Some were parked pretty bad.Then it struck me."I need a helicopter."

The man had arranged the cars to spell out a riddle.Now I've seen it all.

Woo hoo hoo!
I feel sorry for you two!
Ready for a long night?
Or is you schedule too tight?
Boy,I'm gonna burn for what I'll do!
But I'll see ya in Hell to!

Well,this riddle isn't really pointing towards anything guys.Maybe one minor detail,but I didn't hide anything to important in here.

I think the 'But I'll see ya in Hell to!' part means that Mad Jack is going to force Thomas, or Alyssa, to do something he's been plannign for years. The reason why i think this is because of the game 'Kill Evrybody' thing... I dunno just a guess.

I sat at my favorite restruant,eating spaghetti and garlic bread,when he came in.He sat down at my table and took a peice of garlic bread,munching on it loudly.
"Jack."
"Donovan,how ya doin'?!"He asked,a large smile on his face.
I sighed."I told you not to meet me in public."
"Why?We're both serial killers here."
"I have a reputation to keep up,Jack!One doesn't become a millionare by announcing he's a serial killer."
Jack laughed."Whatever.Look,I need your help."
I raised an eyebrow."To help you run erronds?I'll admit,you've certainly been busy lately.What do you need."
Jack laughed."I need that crazy lady of yours.What's her name...Claw!"
I nearly choked on my wine."Claw?!Jack,whatever you're up to can't be good."
He stood up and laughed."Oh,it isn't.Just tell her to meet me at the abandoned clock tower."With that,he left.
