Since TLOS is a prequel of the old series, why not have Ripto disguised as someone else be the main boss? I think it would be a great conspiracy.

TLOS is not a prequel to the OS. Only the next game will tell us whats true.

I say, enough with the shrimpy dinosaur! Unless your gonna make him bigger than Spyro, don't bother putting him in the game. Spyro hasn't faced a boss of such a small size on the console games (it's a different story for the GBA).

It could be, we don't know yet. Freezing Spyro in time does give me hope that may bridge it. If they do bridge TLoS with OS, I definitely, absolutely DON'T want to fight Ripto again.

Krome have actually said that it's not a prequel. Anyway, the end of TEN implies that Spyro, Cynder and Sparx have been sent to another world, possibly the Avalar of the Hunter that appears in TEN. If so, Krome could have Ripto as the monarchy of this new Avalar, and seeing how this is in no way connected to the original series, they can,

Yes, that's probably what will happen, seeing how Spyro looks far more dragon-like in the new series than he did in the original.

Yes, he should be bigger. He should be as big as he was during the second round of the boss fight with him in ETD. Remember, when you destroyed his ice shield and hit him one more time, he would cast as spell to make himself bigger. He should be about that size.

Well, considering the changes Krome made with Sparx, they could do something a lot more monstrous with Ripto if they wanted to. But we have to bear in mind that I kind of got sick of the franchise not long after Ripto started to become a recurring character for the series

No. Ripto needs to be deader than the Wicked Witch of the East in the Wizard of Oz. (The one that had a house fall on her). And villains should be scary and evil, and never funny.

Hm. Not too long ago people used to be overjoyed when they heard the name Ripto. Proves what a new, better series does to the previous one - mashes it and steals the love.

It is because I do not like enemies coming back after being beaten, particularly when there is no good reason for it. Ripto was done after Ripto's Rage, after that any appearance was overkill.

But if the Legend arc set DOES get bridged to the old series, then obviously we might be looking at a fight against Ripto BEFORE Ripto's Rage. I'm like you, I'm no fan of seeing him get brought back in and all, but I could potentially see an explanation drawn up on why he hates dragons so much o.O

dude just because of what the chronicler said at the end of the game DOESN'T mean that they are in a different world literally. It's possible, but I highly doubt it. when he said a 'different world' he meant that things aren't going to be as they were, very possibly. Besides, the picture shows them still in the caved in well of souls.

I never thought it meant an entirely different world. I've always thought it meant the world will have changed so that it is very different. I jut hope they don't appear way too far into the future. I don't want laser guns and spaceships in TLoS.
In my mind, Ripto died in GTG (RR), the end. THE END!

I think the Chronciler meant they would be in the same world ( with the swamp, etc.) but the world will look different than before (controled by the dark master)

Yes but notice that...
Hunter does appear in the end in Malefor. You can't get rid of the fact that he could have gotten others to help him in some way.

That might actually happen. Or something futuristic anyway. After all, I've heard rumours of TLoS 3 being 'The Silver Dragon'. Metalically futuristic, no?

Well there's Steam, that's a little more advanced than a catapult. Plus all the cannons sitting around on the pirate ships.
