Purity is a virtue. One which no one posses for long, and most never will remember it. Immortality is a lie. Everything dies. Somehow someway. Nothing can change that. You want to believe other wise, but it is always so. You do what you must but no one can destiny's mind. Dragons are exiled for their homes. Elves never to be seen again, as well as most fey.
the half-elves know they have not dies out though. Humans have drived us from most of what we know. So we live among them, secretly, hidden. The ones of us who are exposed never have it happen again, fore death falls upon those who are.
The city of Cronica, year 3592.
Elaisha stirred from sleep. Sweat covering most of her face. Just a dream. she told her self. She walked to the bathroom a turn the lights on. The mental switch was slow and it took a minute to turn on. In the mirror she saw her pure white skin, her light wavy brown hair, just covering her ears. She was half- elf, half-angel. Her elven father had been exposed a while ago. poor father. Now she lived in Cronica with her angelic mother, Ariel Newson. This is where she got her appearances from, her eyes which were never the same color. They were the color of her mood. Now they stood a blue-gray color.
deciding she wouldn't get much sleep any more she walked out side of her small apartment. She saw the millions of buildings and streets. he hundreds of cars and people. All from this one apartment porch. She would be eight teen tomorrow and would have to leave to forge her path. All too soon. She was going to be immortal, and she had no choice in the matter. All too much. Why me? she thought. Her thoughts of death and the end. Stop it! You are letting your depression get the best of you! She went to the lower level of the two stories of apartment they owned. There was Shadow. Shadow was a dragon, which weren't allowed in the city. Shadow had been living with them for a very long time now, and mostly she took care of her self. "Good morning, El. I take it you wanted an early start before you leave?" Her voice soothed Elaisha. "No, shadow. I couldn't sleep. To much on my mind at once." She turned away from shadow not wanting to think how life would be with out her. "I know that look. It is rather human like. I am coming with you, ya know?" Elaisha Simply smiled, she knew but still it was going to be hard to move to a home, another home with enough room for a dragon. Shadow was a black dragon, She was a small one too. Only weighing 400 pounds. Shadow made room for Elaisha to sit near her under belly, which she gladly sat there.
"Sleep El. For tomorrow is a big day." Shadow spoke softly. As Elaisha felt magic in the words she drifted to sleep.
That is all i have for right now, please tell me what you think.

thank you...
Elaisha woke a few hours later. Shadow had been lying and thinking. Or she had been hunting, she was very good at looking as if she hadn't moved at all.Elaisha's mother came in her wings spread wide. "I see you have finally waked." She said her voice as soft as small chimes. Her mother stood five-foot tall with a almost lighter color hair. Her pale white skin was fairer than that of elves. Her eyes always remained the same calm pale green. even in battle. Her appearance and structure was designed to amaze most humans. "Yes mother, i have." She replied politely, for it was her mother how was ordered to kill her father. She walked with her mother to breakfast, Shadow wormed up the stairs silently. They ate together, cooking the meat shadow had left. Two fish and a large mass of left overs from shadow's midnight snack. Breakfast was short and silent. Then they walked out side, Shadow took the widow, though not as perfectly as when she weighed slightly less. "You have learned well over the past years and I'm believe I know what you shall be." Her mother spoke, for in their tradition the parents choose how their children would live their lives. "I believe you shall be..."

As her mother begins to say the last word a tremendous boom sounded. A small bomb by the sound of it. The building shook. Ariel stood firm and without stumbling while Elaisha stumbled a little bit. "What in the name of Azuer?!" she screamed. Bombs have not been used since the third world war a five-hundred years ago. She saw something that made the small angel wings of hers stand on edge, even though they were not as large or strong as her mother's when the spell that hid them unveiled. A dark-elf, with a magma-ray-x946. He wore a dark leather jacket over a red tank top. He was muscular and well and magically adept. Blue jeans he wore held many other weapons, but how could she see all this from a three hundred story height. Angel eyes, see reminded her self. your part angel, and mother can see and hear more. "Shadow! Come on!" "Elaisha Rose Newson. not without shrinking her first you dont." Elaisha walked to the room shadow was in. "I heard every thing. I am ready." With a few second shadow was the size of a gecko. It was a cleaver disguise and it had worked for thousands of years. in fact during the 1990's through 2300's just about every gecko you saw was a dragon. Shadow few onto El's open hand. "Bring snacks though, I'm hungry." "That makes to of us."
