Chapter 1
The start

The small blue egg lay in the grass, nadders surrounded it, trying to find out what it was.
Then it cracked and started to hatch, they toke a step back and made a growling noise. The egg hatched and a small baby Nadder fell on the floor, it looked up at them, The nadders shaked their scales and roared!
The baby nadder trie to stand up but it fell back down again, one of the nadders helpped it up by just giving it a little push when their were foot-steps! The nadders looked around then ran off (some flew away)
The foot-steps got louder, The baby Nadder had been left and now knew what was comin.....

This kinda sounds like my story, except mine is about the birth of the Night-Fury, taking place at least a thousand years before How to Train Your Dragon. Don't worry, cynder 9999, I'm not going to scream at you to take it down, keep it up, it's fine with me.

CHAPTER 2
THE NIGHT-FURYS
Adder lay there in the grass, waiting for a viking to come and kill him. when instead of vikings, they were night-furys! thy gathered around him and made a strang noise. They started to fly away, One of them picked Adder up in her claw (whispering oak the night-fury) and flew away with him. And island came into view and the night-furys flew into a hole and landed in a nest on the side of the volcano inside the Island. Whispering oak dropped him into the nest and landed on the side.
They all watched as the dragons swooped in and dropped food into a hole. Adder was confused, why would they just drop their kills into a hole without even taking a bite out of it? He jumped out the nest and looked down just to see nothin but lava and steam.
when a Mousterous nightmare swoop in close and look at adder before growling and flying off just to drop his kill into the volcano and fly out the hole....

CHAPTER 3
THE NIGHT-FURY'S HOME
After all the dragons had gone, The nightfurys toke off with Adder and flew out into the mountains..........
1 hour later
Adder was asleep in whispering oak's claw when they finaly came to a stop and dropped Adder into the nest with a thud! he woke up and looked around, He knew this would be his new home.
He looked up at whispering oak when a head of a fish was thrown infront of him. he could not see it infront of him but he could sence it infront of him, so he gapped open his jaws and swollowed it whole.
Some of the night-furys toke off to find more food, but the females stayed with Adder who was trying to climb up onto the back of Whispering oak. There was a roar and a growl when a huge Zipple-back flew infront of the nest and eyed Adder, it growled and swooped over them, up another ledge where there was a cave with Other zipple-backs sheltering in.
whispering oak looked down at him and smiled, he felt at home....

CHAPTER 4
Monstrous nightmare fears
Adder lifted his head and looked out the nest, it was early in the morning and all the night-furys were fast asleep.
He blinked and watched as Terrible terrors and other dragons flew by.
Whispering oak (which was sleeping by him) growled and rolled around in her sleep, He nudged her and tried to wake her up. but she did not respond, he growled and turned around to see a monstrous nightmare flying above his head! the monstrous nightmare growled and snapped at Adder just to wake up whispering oak (by accidently brushing her face with his tail) and she got up and tackled it! making it roar with pain and fly away, she growled and looked at Adder who was trembling with fear
"Its alright" she said "the monstrous nightmare is gone"..........
