It would have been interesting to see Spyro take the same route Sonic did in a more modern time, but meh. Now I'm more interested to see what the new direction is with the games.

Well, I don't know if i should be sad or not. I'm on the fence here. A lot of people have alot of thoughts about the movie, and i do not know which one i want to go with.

Well most of us saw it coming.

There wasn't any trailers, new information, nor previews of the movie. The only thing we got was a poster.

And Activision nor the movie company didn't bother to tell us that the movie was cancelled since 2 years ago.

We would've been on a wild goose chase, looking for a movie that has been cancelled for sometime.

Yeah, i noticed that too. I've seen previews for movies that were coming out months later. But for the spyro movie, we got a poster. Thats it.

I wonder why they didn't tell us two years ago that it had been cancelled? Were they trying to hide somthing?

I doubt that.

They probably didn't want the public to know what direction Spyro will go, if they revealed that the movie was cancelled.

If that was the reason, then it would have been the producer that cancelled it, and not Activision. Since it was Activision, it means they were unwilling to allow the movie producers to puchase an extention on how long they had the rights to make the movie.

I am sad but at the same time not.
Sad because I. Wanted to see him on the big screen, and the hopes it would attract new fan.

Not because the guys that were going to direct it, didn't seem to have a lot of big names out there which is scary because they could have screwed spyro up.

I kinda had a feeling it would be canceled. I mean as Aura24 said, there were no OFFICIAL trailers or news. Just one poster. I'm really dissapointed in the people that hepled make too because they hid it for like 2 years and no one knew about it and many were really excited about it! I know I was... :'(

I don't see how any one could be sad about a movie being canceled, or even something like this seeing as we have not seen any footage, trailers, soundtrack ETC or heard any news about it since February 2008... You can't miss out on something that isn't really there or you haven't ever had the opportunity to see...
