well, i figured I'd out some of my poems on here to share with the world. Post yours on here if you want to.
here is one.
Taken.

I close my eyes,
see her there for one last time,
she fades away in the darkness,
the darkness of my mind.
She was taken from me. forever. open.
I close them again.
I see my first cat,
beautiful gray tabby,
I tried but she was taken.
i see my first dog,
chow mixed with something else,
I tried my best but still, Taken. I open them.
Pain.
I close them again but why?
I see my second dog and her puppies.
cute, friendly, and always there for me.
I tried my best. harder than before. still taken
Tears. Pain and tears with open eyes.
I see my last dog, chained.
I tried but still...
taken
open... crying... closed...
I see my pets now.
My last try.
They can't be taken,
or inside I'll die.
They won't be taken,
or I'll have nothing.

Note* I mainly write when I'm depressed.

Nice poem. I msllef only write when im depressed...witch is like, always.

depression for me is daily, normally... I have one or two happy after noons where i am not fighting it.

Blackness

Blackness surrounds me.
An endless chill to my heart.
A cloud keeping me from joy.
Am I meant to be this way forever?

Blackness shows fear to me.
a fear of losing what i have,
A fear that it will take me.
Is it a fear at all?

Blackness keeps me near.
I am never without it.
It makes me afraid, and sad.
but of all things I am glad,
For without it, I would not know me.

The dream that comes...

I shiver, I wake.
Only a dream, a dream of the darkest things,
Chills of the night tare through me.
Only a dream.
I lie back down, and sleep. An unrest sleep.
I see the dream of darkness, the dream of death.
It comes for me that dream of mine.
Blocking out the sun shine.
I scream, i wake.
Still just a dream.
The darkness of my room lingers,
I see again the coming fingers,
of the dream that comes for me.

Gone

Never gone she is there,
in a flash shes gone.
can't deny it,
but most defy it.
she is gone. That is that.
Why did she go?
She said she would stay
Why hurt me so?
Why still today?
I think he there, but she is gone.
Forever gone.
Never to return.

I do my best work when I'm depressed.

here is a not so dark one.

Birds flew up from meadows high, leaving rainbows in the sky. As death takes the sicken child, he is reborn a dove free and wild. His ever morning mother and pa, yet not know his fate. Is it by magic souls fly on, or beauty driving them forward? Fore one may never truly move on. We sing ode to a bloodied prince, he seeing many battles. He lost all he loved, treated as cattle. We give awe to a soul as he, soon enough he will see. His hard ships come with cause, so may his soul not pause.
'Prince locked away in dungeons low, here you will die nice and slow. Your blood fill my gauntlet, your tears become my pure water. It's just a shame you'll never see it, the home i will slaughter.' The witch sang from her towers high, marking blood stains in the sun set sky. Fore the princess locked away in her hand, couldn't meet to her demands. She cast from mountains far, only to land upon a star. Her power grew and she knew that to save the one we sing to, there was a task she had to do. She sang worlds long and true, The ode to the Bloodied prince. Her songs from his soul, his body left behind. She knew there would never be another like him, not another she could find. She wept for his sake, but saw his dove. And knew what had grown between them was a love. She bound her and he together, mastering the art of souls. She, the master of the birds, and he will always be of ode

Wow, that's really nice.

Shine star up in the sky,
Oh how I wish that I could fly.
Fly away from the place.
It seems I just want my space.
A sister never leaving me alone.
Or a grandmother always on the phone.
Oh shining star up so high.
All it seems i do is sigh.
Sigh in pain and anger.

So... sad... *Cries*
