i realy cant do the snail rider coz the red gem keeps running out and m sooooo confused!

hit it once so that his head goes inside, then jump up, dragon time, and use melee AND breath at the same time.

What i did (cos i attacked my first one today) is that i use the melee combat and when he attempts to hit you with it's head, jump and to a melee combat in the air.

Weird, my strategy was to go into dragon time and tail strike at every opportunity. It's a slow method, but it works!

I just used one of the fury attacks

It's killer easy with Dark Spyro... but you probably haven't unlocked him yet. I just attacked it then its rider; like what SxC and SF just said.

hehe! iv dun it! thanks for all the tips! now what do thoose mushrooms do? that you can split open and come out with a load of goo?

They barely do much for me unless, there's any unlockables hidden or anything? Someone clarify that.

I don't think they do anything.

i think it's very easy.

Use an Aerial Melee with a Comet Dash. Repeat until defeated.

Why?

Because the Comet Dash allows you to escape the Snail Rider's counterattack and deals a lot of damage.

When it moves its head out to look for danger,tail strike its head for more damage.

i finished the game so i have all of spyro's abilities so i either use dark spyro of the electric orbs

The temple snail rider? He was a headache for me as well. I used dragon time to get around those irritating plant creatures. When I was right on top of the rider, I used one of those attacks where Spyro launches himself like a missile. A few of them and he was dead.

you have to make the snail go into its shell with fire, then jump and attack the rider

I used to have 3 PS2s,but the 2 black ones broke.

Atack the rider and when it's about to hit you use the fire dash thing.It always work for me.

Comet Dash

I jump and beat that man on the snail

i myself flame the snail first then jump up and do melee.do that a few times.it worked for me!

Once you unlock Dark spyro atack it from a distance and of you want when it's realy low on health meelee the monkey in the head.

I really know what you mean, if it weren't for my best friend{who knows lots of Spyro things} I'd still be stuck on the first one!

My way to kill him is to flame the snail then comet dash the rider.(Repeat until its dead)

i use fire breath on the snail,and then i attack the rider.i do this untill it's dead.

It's easy after you get the hang of it, but I mean, have you ever seen a real snail move? It's still in the same place two days later. The snail of a Snail Rider moves faster than a dragon...................

use dark spyro if u unlocked him or use fire and wen his head gos in hit him 5 times and justkeep doing it
