Okay, a few years ago, I had a crazy theory...that Cynder was a Purple Dragon. Granted, not as 'OMG powerful or special' as Spyro, but still one. I know many will say she isn't, and that EL just messed up her colour, but I'm not the only one who has this theory ( on FanFiction, anyway), and all of us had it BEFORE DotD was even fully revealed.

Now, why is this in Fandom, you may ask? Well, taking the theory into consideration, I decided to ask what would happen if Ignitus had saved Cynder's egg by mistake, and the Apes took Spyro's. Would things be different? Or would they stay the same?

In other words, I want to make this into a fanfiction, but I want to know if you guys think it's worth pursuing ( given how 'welcoming' some of you are to Cynder being Purple; no offense). I already have a few chapters written, but they need more work.

This is the first chapter, which I uploaded on FanFiction. I didn't feel like typing up a half-hearted version, or copying and pasting it. *shrugs*

I will as soon as I can. Also, A New Hope may follow ANB more loyally than the next two stories ( The Eternal Darkness and The Darkest Hour, respectively), follow their source material ( TEN and DotD).

hmm that's an interesting idea. I haven't read the first chapter yet, but i thought that a theory could be that when she was corrupted, she was turned black and dark, and maybe she was originally meant to be purple, which shows in DotD. This isn't saying that I think she's a purple dragon. I personally don't think sh is, but tha would definitely make an interesting fanfic.
