Spoiler Tag Not Working? [CLOSED]

I've encountered a couple spoiler tags in several topics that aren't working over the past few days. Is this happening to anyone else? I'm not sure if it's a user error or not, but I thought I'd check.

There is something to turn off BBCode's and Smilies. They probably turned them off, or I dunno.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. But hey, the soiler tags have always had problems.

It all seems to be working fine to me. Could you link to some examples of this? Also, what browser are you using? Thanks.

The post right above me features a spoiler tag that isn't working. Though it could actually be NoScript; I forgot I'd installed that recently, though it seems like this was happening before I did that.

If you've blocked the JavaScript from this site from working then yeah, spoiler tags won't fully function. You should still be able to manually highlight the text though.

Youtube spoilers don't work.

Spoiler in a spoiler?
Sounds stupid but think about it. Someone already has something in a spoiler tag, but then theres also a much larger spoiler in that, and its in the middle.

When I saw a really long spoiler in dark52's guestbook, I viewed it (I have quite a tendancy to view spoilers) then hid it again, and I saw that some of the writing that came out of the spoiler box had turned white.

I noticed the same thing Robo did, didn't know that could happen. Youtube spoilers work for me too, do they not hide the video or something?

Yep, it looks like NoScript ate some of the JavaScript and that was the trouble. Highlighting the text works, though. smilie

I could swear I've seen YouTube vids hidden in spoilers before, but I could be wrong. They aren't hidden now for me, obviously, but that's just my FireFox add-on eating stuff.
