just to let you know, at the verry begginning, i am a human. not a dragon, a human. although i don't stay one for long.

Chapter 1:
It was just a normal summer day. I was on the internet, on Darkspyro, of course. My zune was playing Guide you Home, while i was posting on my art topic. I heard something from upstaires, like glass breaking. "What the heck." I muttered to myself. I pulled out my earbuds, and quietly walked upstairs. I poked my head out of the laundry room door, and saw two people, with ski masks on. Obviously, a robebry. Crap i thought. how am i going to get them out of here without getting hurt? i quickly run down stairs. and grab the closest thing to me, a plastic baton. I knew it wasn't much, but at least i could defend myself a little. I jumped out from the laundry room doorway, holding my baton as threatingly as I could. The two robbers stoped trying to move my T.V. and looked at me. They put it down, and start to walk towards me. Fear went through my body, but i tried to stay where I was. Soon, i had no choice but to try to hit one of them. It hit the first person in the stomach, and he fell over from pain. I hope i can fend these two off I thought to myself. The other guy got a gun. "Crap." I said. I instantly lunged for the gun. Not the smartest move, but it probebly saved my life. I threw it into the bathroom and started to pound it with the baton before one of the robbers had time to grab it again. I spun around and just saw a fist before i fealt pain in my nose. It started to bleed, and then I got angry. I swung my baton wildly, not caring what i hit. Soon, the brawl was behind the living room couch, and I was fighting as hard as i probebly ever will. the robbers had me pinned down and one was punching me. I gathered up all my strength to get out, but something unexpected happened. I felt strange, and i saw light start to come around me. I fealt my body change shape, i grew a tail, my nose and mouth started to stretch out, i grew wings, my limbs changed in size and shape. I started to panic, but i couldn't move. I felt the robbers back away from me, which was an improvement. Soon, i was able to move again, but i realized, i turned into as dragon! I glared at the robbers menicingly, and they ran out of my house, screaming. "Good riddance." I said. I heard a car pull up yo the garage. "Crap." I said. It was my mom coming home from the leprecon harvest foods store. I heard her walk up the stairs. I had no idea what her reaction would be to the mess, and the dragon standing in the living room. She walked in, saw me, and dropped her shopping bags. "Mom," I say. "It's me, Desi." She just looks at me in horror. Turns out, she couldn't understand a word i was saying. They just came out as strange grunts and dragon roars.(if you've never heard one of those, watch a dragon move or something) She ran downstaires, and irealized that she was probebly in my dad's room, getting one of his guns. I ran to the giant broken window and jumped out, landing on the porch.(spelling) My dog, Zeph, who was barking loudly, went quiet in fear. I tried to take a step towards him, but he shrank back, his eyes wide, his ears flattened on his head, his tiny tail unwagging. I sighed and opened up my wings. I felt a breeze hit my wing membranes, making flying a lot easier, i guesed, and took off for the one person I trusted to tell this to.

edit: i'm back from school.....that was an incredably boring day. at least our last teacher let us mess around with rubix cubes....and i left mine in the classroom. i wonder if there's a rubix cube somewhere around here...

Chapter 2:
I flew all the way from my house to Karen's, trying not to get spotted by anyone. Verry difficult when someone's house is near the highway. I saw her parents walk out of the house, and i quickly hid in the tree Karen and I tried to make a fort out of once.(epic fail) I saw her parents go into one of the the pickup trucks and drive away. Karen's curtans were open, I pushed pine needles out of my face and looked to see if she was in the room. She was on her bed, doing something with her DSI. I looked closely, and saw what it was. Darkspyro. Won't she be surprized when she finds out that Spyro is probebly real i thought. But i had no idea how i was going to talk to her. She probebly wouldn't understand me, just like my mom. I thought for a moment, then remembered the movie Eragon "Even I this works, i'm not going to let her ride me." I muttered. Karen? i thought, hoping she heard me.
Desi? I heard her think back.
Who else whould it be?
Where are you?
Come outside. I saw Karen walk out the back door. She looked around.
"Where are you?" She asked.
Come under the tree. I thought to her. She walked under, and looked around.
"Your not here."
Yes I am. Promise that you won't feak out when i come out?
"Why would I?" She asked. "Just come out!"
Ok...fine. I hesitated, then started to walk down the branches like steps, sort of, if you consider getting your head whacked every step and partly using your wings as walking down steps. I jumped down behind Karen. She turned around, and looked at me.
"Crap."
"Yea, I'm a dragon." I said, forgetting that i shouldn't talk. Sorry, i forgot you can't understand me.
"What do you mean?" Karen asked. "I understood you just fine."
"My mom couldn't." I said out loud. "How can you?"
"Maybe.... I can turn into one too." She said.
"Try."
"Well, how did you do it?"
"Actually, my house was being robbed. I was fighting and, i was trying to gather all my strength, then i turned into a dragon."
"Ok..." Karen said. I saw her concentrate, and she started to turn purple, she changed shape and soon, she was a dragon too.
"This is akward." I said.
"Come on." Karen said. "Let's go."
I was about to take off, but something wasn't right. I looked back towards the dirrection of my house. "I can't leave." I said.
"Why not?" Karen asked.
"Well, for one, we need food, i havn't eaten for a while. Two, we need to know exactly where we're trying to go, and three, I think i'm forgeting something, or someone."
"Ok, fine, you can think about it while we eat some food." Karen said. "Come on." She started to walk towards her house, and i cauciously followed. "What are you afraid of? It's my house, and nobody else is in it now."
"What if your parents come back?"
"Stop worrying. We'll be fine. They aren't coming back for hours." We both walked into her house, and Karen grabbed a box of pizza on the counter.
"I hope this will be enough. What will we eat when we leave?"
"I don't know. We'll figure it out later, right now you should think of what your forgetting." We started to eat the pizza, and then when we were finished, I walked out of the house. "So, did you figure it out?"
I closed my eyes, thinking hard. Then, i opened them. "Alondra." I said.
"Alondra?" Karen asked. "Who are you going to invite next? Stephanie? Marivel? Colin? We can't have everyone in the whole school coming with us Desi."
"I really think we should see if she can come with us." I said.
"She is not riding on my back if she can't turn into a dragon." I rolled my eyes.
"I just think she needs to come with us. I don't know why though."
"Ok, fine." She said. I walked into the trees, Karen just looked at me.
"Um, wouldn't it be faster to fly?"
"Yea, if you wanna get seen by people. I barely made it here without being found. I am not going to do that again."
"Yea, but some people might be working in the orchards."
"Ok, fine. You can fly, but good luck trying to find alondra's house on your own."
Karen sighed, and followed me into the endless rows of trees.

Chapter 3:
Karen and I finally made it to Alondra's house.(in an hour)
"So, what's the plan?" Karen asked.
"Her parents are in the house. They might get suspicious if she walks out of the house randomly or is talking to nothing. Just wait here, i think i know something that will work." I quickly ran up to the side of the house, where Alondra's room was.
Alondra? I thought.
No reply.
Alondra! I pressed by head against the wall to hear anything.
"Desi?" I heard Alondra's voice faintly.
Come outside.
"Why? How can i hear you?"
Just trust me. Walk outside to the side of your house. I signaled to Karen to come over to me, and she dashed across the gravel and stopped quickly, leaving two long lines in the little rocks.
"Where is she?" Karen asked, right before Alondra turned and saw us.
Before you say anything, yes, i know we're dragons. I thought, in case she wouldn't be able to hear me talking.
"How did this happen?" Alondra asked.
"We're not sure exactly. We were going to leave, but Desi wanted to come and see if you could turn into a dragon too." Karen said.
"I don't know if i can."
"Ok, good, so you can understand us." I said.
"What do you mean?"
"My mom couldn't understand me, but Karen could. I think you can turn into a dragon, if you can understand us."
"How do I turn into one?"
"uh....." I said. "Not really sure. Just, uh, do whatever."
"Oh, yea, those are such good instructions." Karen said.
"Hey, if you want to tell her how to, be my guest."
"Just concentrate." Karen said to Alondra. She closed her eyes, and started to change just like i saw Karen do an hour ago. She turned into a light blue ice dragon.
"Ok, so, what are we going to do now?" Karen asked.
"Think, if dragons exist, mabey Spyro and Cynder do too." I said.
"So, where do we go to find Spyro?" Alondra asked.
"Uh.... I'm not sure at this point. Mabey we'll figure it out, but shouldn't we get away from the people? If we get seen, might not be too good. Mabey we can stay in an orchard."
"Uh, Desi? People work there every day. How about those little cliffs when your going past the highway?"
"That's a good idea, as long as we stay on the other side of them." Alondra said.
"Okay, let's go." I said. We started to fly off and get to our temporary home.

the next chapter might be a little delayed. i want to try to triple call Karen and Alondra so we can all make the next chapter together.

lol i had a dream that i turned into a dragon (i had that dream WAY too many times) but i was in my grandparents car and a golm came out of the ground

"I forgot how big this place was." I said.
"How long has in been since you've been here?!" Karen asked.
"mabey a month or two...not really sure."
"So, what now?"
"We should find shelter or something where we can sleep." Karen suggested.
"And food." I said.
"What about water?" Alondra asked.
"Okay, why don't we all split up. but meet back here in an hour."
"Desi, we're dragons. we don't own watches." Karen points out.
"Just what seems like an hour. i think we've all been alive long enough to figure it out. Alondra, wanna help eachother?"
"Sure."
"What about me?" Karen asked.
"I think it's a better idea for alondra and I to look together, unless you wanna try to find water or food in this area." Karen sighed and walked off.
"So, what are we going to eat exactly?" I asked alondra.
"How would i know?"
"I know we're all going to hate this idea, but i think we have to eat mice and little animals. Lets hope Karen dons't get mad... come to think about it, lets hope i actually have the will to catch anything."
"Come on." Alondra said, walking towards the sand dunes. I heard a squeek.
"Did you hear that?" I asked alondra.
"A mouse." I looked around, then found a little white animal nibbling on some grass near a rock. I crept up on it, then jumped and killed it.
"Great. Now we're going to have to kill things any time we get hungry." I muttered.
"We still need to find water." Alondra pointed out.
"I really wish the highway wasn't here, then we could just get water from the river."
"Wait, mabey at night we can find something to hold water and bring it back to our shelter." Alondra said.
"Okay, lets go try to find Karen and tell her."
"It hasn't been an hour."
"She couldn't have gone off too far in this time...i hope."

chapter 5:
We saw karen flying towards us. "Get down! Do you want to get seen?!" I said. She landed a few feet from us, then walked up, excted. "I found a place for shelter!" She said. "Why are you holding a dead mouse?!" I dropped it.
"Do you want to eat or not?" I asked.
"Couldn't you have found something else?"
"Okay then, you can try to rob the gas station later, but i'm sticking to something that i don't have to steal."
"Your stealing a life!"
"You've seen lots of dead animals before. we saw a dead bird outside a few months ago."
"I didn't KILL THEM!"
"How do you even read warriors?! one of the main words is fresh-kill!"
"It's a fictional book!"
"Both of you stop arguing!" Alondra said before i could reply. "Just show us the shelter, Karen." I glared at karen, but she ignored me.
"Here it is." Karen said. She stopped in front of two rocks with pulled up sage brush on the top for a roof, and some more on the sides to stop the wind.
"How do we get in?" I asked. Karen squeezed through a hole in the plants. Alondra went in, then i followed.
"So, where's the water?"
"Desi and i are going to find somethning to hold water. Tonight we can get water from the river."
"What am i supposed to do?"
"You can come with us, we should rest for now." Alondra said. We all layed down in the gritty sand.
"Hey Karen?"
no response.
"Karen?"
still no answer.
"don't tell me your going to do what i think."
"shun."
I rolled my eyes. "Your a horrible shunner."
"Shun."
"You can't shun me forever."
"shun."
I rolled my eyes again, then turned to alondra, who had her eyes closed. "Hey alondra?"
"Yeah?"
"i was thinking, mabey we can go to ireland before we try to find spyro. i mean, both karen and my family are from there..."
"shun"
"Will you give it up for one second karen?"
"shun" I smiled, then picked up the mouse and threw it at Karen. "Hey!"
"haha. i got you to stop shunning me!" I laughed.
"Thats unfair. you threw a MOUSE at me!"
I grinned, then jumped towards karen, laughing.
"Hey, get off!" Karen yelled, but i saw her smiling too.
"Dragon pile!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled, then jumped onto alondra.
"What the..." Before alondra could say anything, karen was on top of both of us.
"haha!"
"Oh no you don't!" I tried to kick karen off, but alondra did it to me sooner. Karen and i fell, side by side, in a laughing heap.
"So, will you stop shunning us now, or do i have to squash you again?" I asked, but was stopped by the mouse flying into my face. i spit fur out of my mouth, then grabbed a piece of sage brush and threw it at Karen's head.
"Listen!" Alondra said, making us go quiet. We strained our ears, but heard someone speaking spanish.
"¿Qué usted piensa eso era?"
"I' m no sure."
"deja para ir ven."
"translation please." I whispered to alondra.
"'What do you think that was?' 'I'm not sure' 'lets go see'" alondra looked panicked.
"Stay quiet!" Karen said. I pulled a pulled up sage brush onto her.
"What are you doing?!"
"It will hide your color! there isn't much purple animals in the desert." Alondra backed up into the bush wall, and i did the same.
"I hope they don't find us..."
