i think spyro had head surgery... cause around his horns it looks like stitching.... maybe he bumped his in the crystall

it looks like stitches but it's actually (I guess...) supposed to be some kind of thicker skin or something...(tbh his whole skin/scale texture looks like he's got some skin disease...)
imo... he just looks wierd in DotD...the whole model...
and his expressions in the cutscenes ... he looks like he's high or something lol...

yeah his expressions when the elders get nocked down he just opens his mouth and does nothing.. like u couldnt say omg or something... i like his scale colour in the dark but in the light he looks pink!!!

There's a bunch of those LE GASP moments (but without the actual 'gasp' sound) man... it just looks stupid =/ they probably put it there cus of the whole drama going on ...-.- ooOOh myy...*rolls eyes*
