Wii ; the only difference between the two is that the PS2 does not allow motion controls, has extra glitches, has a jerkier frame rate, and has rrreally slightly inferior graphics.

So, if you got a Wii, Wii all the way. And since you can use the Classic Controller if you don't want motion controls, there's just no excuse.

While I've yet to play it, the Wii sounds like the general consensus due to control, graphic quality and whatnot. Zerodius explained it better than most of us could >.>

Yes, the Wii has done away with numerous glitches and programming errors that have had people constantly complaining about game restarting.

Also, if you don't want to buy a Classic Controller, the "B" button is your melee button on the Wiimote/Nunchuck control variation.

I think it's easier to play with Ps2 controller. It seems like it. And feels.

Having experienced the Wii version I think it seems to work fine with the Classic Controller if you don't want to do any motion sensing malarky. Plus, I ended up hearing that the PS2 controls were severely swapped around this time, so that might have sounded a bit tedious. smilie

Well, this is weird. Zerodius told me that in TEN PS2, you could only use the up button to cycle through breaths, with the other corners being assigned for different abilities altogether. I'm actually puzzled X_x

I heard the GBA is way better. The attacks are different yet very cool, different boss battles. It's a very HARD game compare to another games. Go get it if you want a good challenge.

The GBA is in fact... superior to the console. However, Amaze made a few screw ups in the storyline.

Additionally, the bosses on the GBA are different than that of the consoles.

Ture, I heard they said that spyro and cynder are brothers and sisters in the GBA. I don't beleive that one bit.

It's not true.

Also, the GBA has Naga and the Advisor, who replace Arborick, the Ravage Rider, Executioner, and Elemental Dragon of the console games.

So there, no ANB-clones! ^___^

Spyro and Cynder are from the same batch of eggs, so I can see where Amaze could have gotten confused with the brother and sister thing. But Oh well, I don't really like the new story anyway.

After playing the Wii, DS and GBA, I can say that the GBA is better of the three, hands down. (Atleast for me) Nothng like a good ol fashion 2D beat'em game!

I'd say the PS2 game is better than the Wii Version, but that's just me. I'm more used to pressing a button to have Spyro attack rather than jurking the Wii controls to make Spyro do damage. And with a lot of enemies in this game, you could easily get tired from doing this all day. So, I just stick to playing it on the PS2. (And I don't own a Wii either, so I can't get it on that system without the system itself.)

Actually, you don't need to move the Wiimote a lot when playing the Wii version. You just have to do it for a few attacks...

... and you're not even forced to play with the wiimote. Just connect a Classic Controller to the Wiimote and play with it if you don't want any motion-based controls.

If even using a Wiimote, there was only ONE thing I found I needed to move it for. And that was for using a Knock-Up attack on the Blunder Tails.

Well, I'm just used to the Playstation 2. When I played the Wii at one of my friends' house, I kept dropping/accidentally throwing the controler in order to do the action, even with the strap on. So, that's why I prefer the PS2 over the Wii.

Was there any kind of silicon jacket over the remote? They are your biggest asset when it comes to forming a good grip around it. Handling a remote around its bare plastic is pretty much asking for trouble in terms of hand injuries, so a jacket is most needed for protection.

I would say PS2 , then you don't have the problem that if your in a LIFE THREATENING situation with hardly any life left you won't be killed because the Wii remotes picked up what movments you made were something you wern't meant to do.

Buying is not needed. I think Nintendo will send them free of charge (after all, you getting the jacket results in less injuries results in less court cases for Nintendo).

And all new Wiimotes come with a jacket on anyway. The only trouble is the batteries - you'll need to force the jacket off to replace them or to sync the Wiimote.

Again, there's a manual button press for your melee attacks so it should be no excuse. If anything the only time in which you'd really need to do a motion sensor based move without button use is the Fury.

Wii.

Anyone who say PS2 is a fanboy.

There is just no good excuse to prefer the PS2 version. It got a worse frame rate and it's quite buggy compared to the Wii version.

For those whining about motion control "issues"... Earth to idiot: use the Classic Controller.

Case closed.

It's about $15. That shouldn't kill you.

Unless you want the PS2 version... then watch out for the numerous glitches people claim appear in the game, and that I've found zilch trace of in the Wii game.

I demand to know how. I saw some video footage of some irks in the PS2 version >.> and yeah, if you're that worried about motion sensing on a Wii, use the Classic Controller to play with (which is what I did) and everything will be okay.
