I've already asked about this to a few other people, but I'd still like a few more tips. See, I really want to beat TEN for 2 reasons: I want Dark Spyro unlocked, and I want to play DotD.

Everyone says this boss is easy, but I just can't beat him!

Anyone have tips on the Ravage Rider?

Earth Flail is really effective if you press the button really fast at close range.

Also, on the first round get his health as low as possible, then let him live to go around one more time THEN finish the round, as this will let you take off the maximum amout health from his second bar before he starts moving.

Time as often as possible, always save some time power for the second fght in case he suddenly turns and goes towards you through the middle. As stated in the walkthrough, stay near the middle- circle around the edge of that wooden circle in the center. In the second fight, charge as much as possible, but keep timing- he's fast, try to be exactly opposite him, if he goes further than that time and run ahead a bit. When he falls, time instantly and charge over, then hit like heck!

He was easy, just troll him

I have to say the only thing that helped me beat him was earth flail and that glitch or whatever it is, when you jump on it's tail or side and stay there.

He's like Steam from ANB only a flying ship shaped like a shark. He shoots cannon balls from his side and he goes faster than Steam did.

It took me weeks to defeat Steam! I couldn't believe it when I heard that I had to beat another boss just like him!

Oh, and attack him at the beginning of each life while he's slow, you can still do a fair bit of damage.

I have the GBA version, but can you still hit the cannon balls?

Easy. Just keep hitting his foot. When he kicks the left, (his left,) evade left. When he stomps the right, (his right,) evade right.

I'm trying to beat Ravage Rider tonight. I'll tell if I succeed.

I DID IT!!!!!!! Ravage Rider is now defeated!!! Thanks everyone. I couldn't have beaten him without all this help.

Now, why didn't you just scroll up and notice the Boss FAQ that's stickied up there?

To defeat Gaul, I used the dragon time when he gets is hook stuck or when he fixes his gun. When Gaul uses the gun, Go left and right while jumping. It will take a few tries to do this.

Also, yes. Whenever Gaul or Scab (or any other boss who gets stuck and can be meleed) get stuck, it is great to use Dragon time. In the Gaul battle, I KNOW you can get 1-3 extra melees in the sequence before Gaul warps away compared to normal time.

i think that skabb is the easiest boss to defeat when you use dragon time.(i dont know why i just think its easier to beat skabb when time is slowed down). and im also talking about the second skabb battle.....when your exiting the pirate fleet part.

Yeah. He was easy to beat. Gaul, I had a little trouble with.

gaul to me is the hardest of all of the bosses in fact it took me at least 5-6 times of trying to beat him to actually win.

I'm stuck on it too! But, try to not get hit in the first round, then once or twice in the second, just get hit as few times as posible. It might help, but I've never won the battle, it's just what I've tried before.

whenever he turns into the centre on his second life when he goes fast i use dragon time to slow him down and when he blows flames from the side i just double-jump over while using dragon time.

I never used Dragon Time in Boss fights, cuz i always forgot i have this ability

Rider is easier than Steam... There are no meteors, but there are also no gems. Rider is easy. Wait until he crashes, then KILLLLLL HIMMMM!!! Use Dragon Time when Rider crashes and earth-beam him!

Paplok is right, thats what i do. However i unlocked dark spyro so i always use that

Keep trying though, you'll get it.

All I know is to hit him with earth rapidly and when he has crashed into the wall, use dragon time and then start hitting him. This will give a whole lot more time to attack him. It's basicly just like the Conductor.

I have defeted ravage rider a bunch of times.
Heres what you do, i use my fire and on the first part of the fight were its easy to hit him with out getting hurt, i use up all my fire. Then when ravage rider gets mad i hit him until hes died.

I know its hard to beat him when he gets mad but try to doge the flame that he shoots out and try to doge the canons from ravage rider, and te arena.

I know how to make Rider crash quick. Simply stand in the middle of the arena and jump away when he cross it. It's 50% that he get crash.

It depends on the heath bar your on, red goes down the slowest.
