I was looking on wikipedia...

And ended up looking at the list of top 68 best selling video game franchises (I was bored >.> )
and Spyro was at number 33

Spyro has sold more copies than Warcraft, SimCity, Half-Life, Need for Speed Underground , Nintendogs, Metroid , Ratchet and Clank, Lego Star Wars and many more
According to wikpedia, Spyro has sold the same copies as Halo o__O

Oh yes! I was looking at it the other day. It is interesting indeed. Especially when it sold the same copies as Halo. I thought it was very weird though.

Also Spyro sold same amount of copies as Metal Gear o____O

Interesting indeed! I kinda like that the Sonic series has sold more though. <<; I blame my brother. Still, great though!
