Anyway, this is set in the 14 month gap between DOTD and my fan game, TDoS TDS... Enjoy
Chapter I
The sun shone down onto the soft green meadows of Avalar as the grass slowly moved side to side in the soft summer breeze. All was silent and calm as two Dragons lay down watching the sun as it slowly crawled across the sky. Spyro turned and staired into Cynder's mint green eyes as they were illuminated by the sunlight. He could not believe that this day would finally come, ever since he had discovered he was a Dragon chaos followed him everywhere he went, but no more. He was able to relax in the peace and harmony of Avalar without every worrying again. However, Cynder was still uneasy. She was not convinced they had killed Malefor, and she knew that Spyro was the same but could tell he chose to ignore it. She had known Malefor for such a long time, and she most certainly knew that he always had a way to cheat death. But for now, she tried her best to be like Spyro and ignore their past as much as she could. All that she could think about was all that time that she was trained to be a born killer and raised to fight for Malefor's twisted cause. She couldn't get it out of her head, especially after what Malefor had done to her not long before they had both defeated him. However, she still tried her best to not think about that.
Night seamed to fall quickly to the two Dragons as they both made their way back to the valley. The stars in the night sky still shone in the pattern of a Dragon, a symbol of their victory over Malefor. It is at these times that Spyro worries about what would have happened if he had not restored the world. But he soon dismisses this thought as he turned to look at Cynder as she walked beside him. "Come on, we should get back to the village before it gets too dark." He said with a concerned tone in his voice. Cynder nodded in agreement as they both sprinted towards the village. Spyro smiled as he watched Cynder run beside him. They could see the faint glow of the torches in the village in the distance. Everyone would probably be asleep by now so they would have to be as quiet as possible. The two of them slept where they always did, by one of the tall pillars at the entrance of the village. Cynder looked at Spyro as they lead their heads on the ground "Good night." she whispered as she smiled at him.
Edit: I've changed the title... Don't know why
