lol...anyways, I am majorly stuck on the part where you save a dragon (I forgot his name) in the volcanic world where you try to defeat the train for the last time. Geeez! its like impossible for me, its driving me nuts! Is there an easy way I can defeat this guy? :'(

Wait untill the train runs into a wall and then go hurt it. Repeat over and over untill done.

okay, stand in the middle of the tracks, and when he turns toward you, jump out of the way, and then when he runs into a wall, then you hammer him w/ fire balls.

Ive been using the ice one and it works okaayyy...but when I tried the fire one it didn't work as good. Plus you got a lot of little fire balls being thrown at you. How do you dodge them. XP So you just wait until he hits the wall?

Yes they do. I did an ice fury once - it did chip off about a quarter of a health bar though. >.>

Still, what a coincidence, I did a Youtube video showing me defeating the train in about 4 minutes.

To Rexy: noticed how, despite you claiming to mop the floor with the boss, you actually didn't win by a large margin ; you had only half of your health left and had used up all of the Spirit Gems.

Still, you one-life cleared that boss in about 4 minutes. Quite a feat!

Anyway... about the topic...

Steam is fast, hit hard, and has TONS of health. He's pretty much the most difficult boss in the Legend of Spyro games and one of the most difficult bosses in the entire Spyro serie.

Still, a few pointers to defeat him...

-stay near the middle of the arena in order to lure him to take the crossroad as often as possible but...
-KEEP MOVING! If you stay still, the boss will pummel you with fireballs and you will die.
-Learn to anticipate his movements and double-jump when he gets near in order to avoid his flame-throwers.
-Use the ice breath secondary shot whenever you can. As a boss character, Steam is naturally resistant to breath attacks but still, every single bit helps (the ice secondary breath is recommended due to the range, precision, firing rate, and the fact that it's Steam's weakness).
-Try not to hang near the Spirit Gems until you need them else, Steam will destroy them with his fireballs which is BAD.

Earth works just fine for me. Just blast that brother yucker too kingdom come when he crashes!

And like everything else in Munitions Forge, fire is not an option.

I used to use ice on Steam, but it didn't work! Then I tried fire and it worked! Don't know how.

I used long-range ice breath. I owned Steam.

I ran around in circles the first time I beat him, but I don't remember what I did. Ever since, I've used the cheats and I still chase him in circles.

To defeat bosses use

Ice = Fire
Fire = Ice
Earth = Electricity
Electicity = Earth
