This game takes place in the classic Spyro universe but Spyro and other Dragons look liek they do in DotD.

Story: Spyro's world starts to go weird. first of all, magic dissapepears, and teh Dragon eggs won't hatch! Then the gems start turning black and white, and Bianca's spells don't work. Not only that - Dragon's can't even glide any more, let alone fly! Spyro finds out that the source of the problem is a black dragon called Grag. Grag wants the magic and power of the universe so that he can feed it to himself to become a God. Soon Spyro must travel to the very edge of the Dragon Relms with no working portals, no gems, no fire and no flying!

Gregs Minions: Gregs Minions are Black Dragons that have been corrupted by their magic being completely drained by him - note that all the Dragon Elders (Even Red) and Ember have had their energy completely drained and are part of Greg's army!

Greg's Master: Greg is only part one of the plan - the energy is also to open the Mystic Gate - a Portal to the land of the dead. With it opening, the master of Greg will return. And his name forever will be Malefor.
