This is a story that I started a while ago and never got to finish. But just recently I've had someone encourage me to continue writing it. It's kind of a rough draft right now, and is only just dialogue right now. But I'm planning on working on it some more to make it into more of a story. I'm also going to have people from this site (with their permission of course) help me out with being in the story itself.
Now I won't write your section or character in less you want me to. I want everyone to have their vision of what their character/person should be, and I don't want to write (if you want me to write it) to be someone's personality in such a way that it offends the person itself. I have some people on this site eager to join this story, but I'm still looking for some people to join in. Everyone is welcome, and all ideas for how the story should progress are welcome as well. There is no limit to how many people can or cannot join the story. If you are interested in joining this story line, please PM me or leave a message on this topic that says if you want to join the story, or you want to contribute some ideas to the story.

Here's what I have so far for my story:
(Note: I'm probably going to edit the Prologue in the beginning to the making of the Spyro movie or something later, but right now, I'll post what I have. Remember, this is just a rough draft, and is in the process of being created.)

Prologue:
Spyro: You can't beat me, Dark Master. You know that good always triumphs over evil.

Dark Master: That is true, young dragon. Maybe instead of fighting together, maybe we could do something different.

Spyro: Like what?

Dark Master: Oh, nothing too hard for a big, old dragon like you. How about we have a staring contest instead?

Sparx: That's easy. Spyro over here is the best starer in all of the Dragon Realms. He can take you on easily.

Spyro: *Shoots Sparx A Look That Says, "What are you doing?"

Dark Master: Oh, is that so? Then, how about we have a little get together, and see who'll win? What do you say, dragon? Afraid of a little competition?

Spyro: Sure. I'm never one to back down a challenge. *Glares At Sparx For Getting Him Into This Situation*

Dark Master: All right then. Let's start off. The first one to blink 5 times is the loser.

Sparx: Only 5 Times? Spyro over here can do it without even blinking that many times. In fact........

Spyro: *Puts Paw In Front Of Sparx's Mouth* Uh, what my friend here is trying to say is that he's willing to take my place in the staring contest with you.

Sparx: *Shakes His Head* -o, --at's -ot wha- I s---. W--- I w-- ----ng w--........ (Sparx gets to a point right here where no one except himself can hear his voice.)

Spyro: He's really grateful for such a prestigious challenge against someone like you. In fact, on my journey all the way over here, he said that he could take you on all by yourself.

Dark Master: Is that so?

Sparx: *Shakes Head Rapidly* *Looks At Spyro With A Look Of Horror*

Spyro: *Looks At Sparx And Starts Laughing*

Sparx: Wha- so f-n--y?

Dark Master: You really fell for it, didn't you Sparx?

Spyro: *Laughs Even Harder* He sure did!!!! (At this point Spyro is laughing so hard that he takes his paw off of Sparx's Mouth)

Sparx: Now wait just one minute. What's going on here? Is this a trick or something? And why aren't you fighting the Dark Master? I thought he was your enemy.

Ignitius: There is no Dark Master.

Sparx: Oh really? Then who is this? *Points At The Supposed Dark Master*

Spyro: Oh, Sparx, you got to really look outside of the box. This "Dark Master" figure over here is just Terrador and Cynder in disguise. We were just pulling a little prank on you since you've pulled a number on us.

Cynder: You really fell for it, Sparx!

Sparx: So this was all just a trick?

Spyro: Yup. And it was a good one to, wasn't it good buddy?

Sparx: Yeah, yeah it was all fine and dandy. But if there is no Dark Master, then what will happen to us?

Spyro: What are you talking about? Nothing will happen to us. We'll all still be here living happy and healthy lives.

Sparx: Not that. I'm talking about the game company's who've been making games about us! What will happen to us when they find out about this hoax that you've now placed upon us? Huh? What's going to happen now?

Spyro: *Remains Deathly Silent*

Meanwhile, in the real world.........

Krone Studios Game Tester: Hey, boss, I just found out something that might flaw our upcoming Spyro game. Turns out that the Dark Master that we've been learning about was nothing more than a hoax. So now what are we going to do?

Krone Studios President: I don't know. Are you sure this is all true?

Krome Studios Game Tester: Positive. I've been monitoring the Spyro universe and have been recording this stuff for ages now, sir.

Krome Studios President: Very well. You may leave now, Rick. I just need to have some time alone for a while to think over this issue.

Krome Studios Game Tester: But what about all the stuff we've been recording for the next game? Shouldn't you stop production or something on this game?

Krome Studios President: No, no, don't do that. I'll just think of something. Just keep up the good work on that project. Who knows? Maybe something will turn up in the near future in that game. Now, go back to your work. I have some important business to take care of, and I'm a very busy man. Now go get back to work!

Krome Studios Game Tester: Yes sir. Right away sir!!!! *Bolts From The Room*

Krome Studios President: *Picks Up The Phone And Appears To Call Someone* Are all the plans set for your upcoming attack?

Mysterious Dark Voice: Yes, that purple pest will be mine for the taking. I'll make sure to finish him off myself. How are things at our end, father?

Krome Studios President: All is according to plan. Now, all we got to do is keep everything on the down low.

Mysterious Dark Voice: Yes, we must. But when will the attack on the temple occur? You know how anxious I am to give that purple pest a piece of my mind.

Krome Studios President: All in good time, my friend. You just stick to the plan I gave you, and I'll do all the work so that when this game comes out, you will finally be able to rule over the entire Dragon Race.

Mysterious Dark Voice: You still remember my cut for all of this? You know how much I hate betrayal.

Krome Studios President: Yes, yes, don't get your scales all in a bunch. I still remember your payment toward this issue on hand. But right now I want you to lay low while this is going on. You stick with the plan, and I promise you that everything will go smooth sailing from here on out.

Mysterious Dark Voice: And with my superior skill, and with your power to control the Spyro series, we'll be unstoppable! Evil will finally take its rightful place and overpower those goody-little too-good dragons.

Krome Studios President: I couldn't have said it better myself, partner.

Chapter 1:
Back in the Dragon Realm:
Cynder: So let me get this straight, Sparx. You’re saying that we all are in a video game.
Sparx: That’s right. Just ask Spyro right over here.
Cynder: Is this really true, Spyro?
Spyro: *Regretfully Nods Head* Yes, Cynder. It’s true.
Cynder: But how is this possible? How on earth could this world that we live in not be real?
Spyro: I…I…I don’t know.
Cynder: What about the adventure we had? Doesn’t that mean anything to you?
Spyro: You don’t get it do you. Since we’re a video game, which means that people can control us out there. Erase our memories, force us to redo the story, force us to say our stupid lines. It’s all a trap.
Cynder: But how come you and Sparx are the only ones aware of it?
Ignitus: I think that I could answer that question. You see, as a rare purple dragon Spyro…
Sparx: Has the ability to harness the powers of all the elements including Fire, Electricity, Ice, and Earth. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we’ve heard it all before.
Ignitus: *Glares At Sparx* What I was going to say was that Spyro’s gift of being a rare purple dragon has allowed him to harness the ability to see things that others can’t see, view worlds once forgotten in the dust of time, reawakening our sense of discovery.
Sparx: *Rolls Eyes* Oh great, now he’s speaking in riddles.

Well, my original main idea of this story was to create an universe in which Spyro realizes that he is in a video game, and somehow interacts with some of the gamers that play their games. But, we might decide to revise this main idea later on (since I'm getting help from different people in writing this story, and we're taking into consideration other people's ideas toward how this story should progress). Well, right now I'm kind of having trouble writing Chapter 1. I'm currently trying to get the story moving to the real world again (where our characters will slowly progress toward interacting with the Spyro universe), but I don't want to rush the scene where some and/or all of the characters from the Spyro series all come together and talk about this issue of being in a video game and whether or not evil forces are controlling them while monitoring their every movements. Krone Studios President: Hmm, maybe you are right, but the question is, should we make The Legend of Spyro trilogy in one movie, or we should invent a whole new storyline?

Mysterious Dark Voice: It's better something totlly new, so that people can enjoy it more... but what if we make a serie instead of a movie, or if you make a movie, then later a serie.

Krone Studios President: But if we make a serie, what it is going to be all about?

Mysterious Dark Voice: Oh I don't know... maybe about Spyro's childhood before he takes the adventure of the first game?

Krome Studios Game Tester: Like the idea, yeah, but we better think of it before making it. If we a movie about the trilogy, or come up with a whole new story after the trilogy, it will be quite difficult to come up with something very well done. What do you think boss?

Krone Studios President: *thinking*

Update: I'll get to writing this story and the Glitch Guide (if you are a fan of it) soon. I have a ton of school work to do right now, but I'll eventually resume working on them after I deal with the school work.

Hey, I have an idea. How about the next part be the elders, spyro, cynder, and sparx all discussing their video game problem, than switch to someone playing a spyro game for the '10 millianth time', but it changes, and spyro talks to the player, but only spyro can communicate to the player, so he tells the unbelieving sparx about it, and ignitus, and the gamer finally gets past shock and communicates back. Spyro will tell ignitus what the gamer, for example Matt, is saying. 'Matt' ,or whoever, will become a major character and help spyro with the video game problem. If you don't like it, don't put it in the story. It's just an idea.

You mean that the player can tell Spyro what to do, and at the same time can talk to him and the others, like if you were part of the story? Cause if you do, I think it's a great idea. I imagine controlling the characters with your mind instead of a remote control.

Do whatever you want SG2008, we are just giving ideas. Hmm... to mix my idea and madison-dwrd's we can make a game, a trilogy, or various games and adventures of Spyro's childhood and tell him what to do inevery situation.

Yes, Felines. That's another great idea we could use. And, if you're wondering why I haven't been posting the story, it's not because you have bad ideas, it's because I've been really busy this last couple of days. But, I'll get to work as soon as I can on it.

lol, give macy a break. she"s my sister... ah hem, little sister. any way she LOVES the story, as do i. what i'm concerned about is the ending. what should we aim 4? that will get ideas springing up left and right! so, anyone? hello?

One things for sure, they better make a totally interesting and awesome storyline, in a way they don't ruin the original storyline. That has happened a lot of times.

Update: Okay, I already got the rough outline for the remaining part of Chapter 1. I'm going to revise it a little, then post it as soon as possible. The next update for this should be coming soon. But remember, what I write can be changed to incorporate all of your ideas. I'm not going to give away much with my ideas for the story (in less you want to PM me for more details), but the next chapter will move the plot from the Spyro universe to the real world where we will come in. (And by "we", I mean everyone on this site and everywhere else who wants to be in the story.)
Note: If we get a ton of people to join in on this story, I might have to alter the story so that the next chapter will be divided into two or three different sections. (I don't want to overwhelm the readers with, lets just say, 10+ characters or so in just one chapter. It would get confusing really fast.) Or, instead of dividing it up into sections, I might have to just delay the chapter so that the next group of characters would not be in Chapter 3, but instead be in Chapter 4. But these are all just my plans in case this happens. If you have your own ideas on what to do if this happens, please either PM me, or post on this topic. Thank you for being so patient.

Okay, I finally got around to writing the rest of Chapter 1. So here it is! I hope you'll enjoy it!

(Continuing From The Last Section)
Spyro: (To Sparx) What Ignitius was trying to say is that I can see stuff outside of this very world. Though I don’t know why it has anything doing with me being purple.

Sparx: That’s just the thing. Ever since this adventure with Cynder and such, everything has been talking about how a purple dragon is so powerful just for being purple. That’s like saying that I’m an annoying dragonfly just because I’m sarcastic, and make fun of everything around me. Hmph!

(Everyone In The Room Looks At One Another, Then At Sparx, And Giggles)

Sparx: Now what’s everyone laughing at?

Spyro: You, Sparx, isn’t it obvious?

Sparx: What, was it something I said?

Cynder: Something like that. (Winks at Spyro, and both Cynder and Spyro start laughing again)

Sparx: Hey! Cut it out you two! Jeez, the stuff I have to put up with from you two!

Cynder: Oh, come on Sparx. We were just joking. You really can be annoying sometimes.

Sparx: Oh, is that right? Well, if I’m the annoying one, then you must be the evil one in our bunch.
Cynder: (Glares At Sparx)

Ignitius: Okay, you three. Settle down. We don’t need to make more enemies when there’s a problem on our hands.

Terrador: Ignitius is right. If we start fighting with each other now, then our solutions for the goal at hand will all be for nothing.

Spyro: So what do you suggest we do? We can’t just leave this problem as it is!

Sparx: But what can we do, Spyro? We’re helpless pawns in all of this.

Ignitius: Maybe there’s something we can do, and by “we”, I mean you three youngsters.

Sparx: Oh great! We get to go on yet another life-endangering mission!

Spyro: Ignore Sparx, Ignitius. He’s just cranky from our last mission. Continue.

Ignitius: What I was saying is that the three of you need to go and visit the Chronicler. Being a dragon of higher intellect than even I, he might be able to shed some light on this problem.

Sparx: Uh-uh. No way am I going back to that place. It gives me the creeps!

Spyro: (Sarcastically) Yeah, Ignitius. A job like this is way too big for such a small little dragonfly like Sparx. Maybe Sparx should stay behind this time.

Terrador: (muttering to Cynder) That did it.

Cynder: (Nods and smiles)

Sparx: Now, wait a minute. Are you saying that I’m not good enough for this mission? What makes you so sure of yourself that you can do it alone?

Spyro: Uh, because I’m the one usually doing all of the fighting, and Cynder and I can handle pretty much anything that crosses our path.

Sparx: Well, I’m coming to. There should be someone besides that evil she-dragon over there should that should be watching out for you.

Cynder: (Shoots A Glare At Sparx)

Spyro: Ignore him, Cynder. That’s all behind us now.

Cynder: Yeah, I guess you’re right.

Ignitius: Well, now that everything is set and planned, I guess we’ll be seeing you three later. When will you be leaving?

Cynder: Actually, I think it’s best to leave right now. We still have a couple hours of daylight left, and if we go quickly, we can just get to Celestial Caves before it gets dark.

Ignitius: Well, then I guess this is goodbye…for now. May the ancestors watch over you. (Pause) May they look after us all.

(Spyro and Cynder take flight with Sparx in pursuit)

Terrador: You seem troubled at all this. Would you like to talk about it, Ignitius?

Ignitius: Right now, all I need is a little time to reflect on this issue at hand.

Terrador: Okay, if that’s what you want.

(Terrador leaves)

Ignitius: I just hope that it’s not too late.

(Camera Pans Back To Spyro and Cynder flying, with Sparx circling Spyro in his usual manner)

Sparx: You know I never get why he always says that.

Spyro: What do you mean?

Sparx: Oh, you know, the reason why Ignitius always says, “May the ancestors watch over you.” What’s the point in saying that when we’re going to just get killed?

Spyro: Oh come on Sparx. We’ve been through some tough situations, but there’s nothing that we can’t handle. What could possibly go wrong?

View Of Spyro, Sparx, and Cynder flying pans back out to a T.V. screen, viewing them via Hidden Camera

Krome Studios President: Yes, Spyro, what could go wrong indeed? (Giggles An Evil Laugh, Then Turns Off The Television Showing The Hidden Camera) All is going according to plan.

Mysterious Dark Voice: Yes, yes, we know all of that. The plan where Spyro questions the situation with the elders, and then goes to the Chronicler is all going well. But when will we get to destroy that purple pest once and for all?

Krome Studios President: Patience, my friend. You will get your vengeance on Spyro soon. But right now, I suggest we obtain some…allies to aid us in our situation. (Clicks To Another Monitor) And once we get these allies, Spyro and his friends will have a Gnasty surprise awaiting them.

Oh no kidding! That mysterious dark voice is the Dark Master... out of the virtual world, and the Krome Studio President is on his side?!?

Yup, and there's more twists and turns waiting to come in this story. So stay tuned!

To All Fans/Contributors Of The Story:
If you haven't already picked up the subtlety from the last chapter, this story is going to include not only the Legend Of Spyro Universe intertwining itself with our Universe, but also include the past Spyro characters as well. And yes, when I say "past characters" of Spyro, I mean all of the main characters from the original Insomniac Trilogy as well as from A Hero's Tail. (This means Hunter, Zoe, Elora, Bianca, Gnasty Gnorc, Ripto, etc.)
However, if there are any other particular side characters you wish to see in this story (i.e. some of the dragons from Spyro 1, any of the creatures in the different worlds of Spyro, etc.), please feel free to tell me which character you want in the story. Or, if you want to write about that character, feel free to do so and send in your work by posting it on this page and/or sending me a PM of the story. Again, thank you for being such loyal fans of my story, and thank you for joining and/or contributing ideas to this particular story line.

Sorry for not updating this sooner. I've been kind of busy as well as stuck on what to write for the next chapter. However, I have some ideas in mind, and I've already got the first "section" of Chapter 2 written. I know it's not much, but I hope you enjoy this "section" anyway.

EDIT: (4/7/10) OR (7/4/10) Finally got a little more of this chapter done. I'm unsure at this point whether to call it quits on this chapter or just continue on with it some more, but, so far, this is what I got. I know this isn't really a major update, but at least it's something.

Chapter 2:
Meanwhile, somewhere else in the real world…

(Camera opens up to a 2-Story house, then pans around to the back side of the house, and eventually focuses on a teenage boy playing Spyro 2)

SpyroGamer2008: (*Is distracted by playing Spyro 2*)

(Lights start to flicker)

SpyroGamer2008: (*Continues to be distracted by still playing Spyro 2*)
(Outside the clouds darken to a sheer black, and thunder starts to rumble)

SpyroGamer2008: (*Stops playing Spyro 2 and looks out window*) Looks like a storm’s blowing in. (SpyroGamer2008 shrugs his shoulders and continues to play Spyro 2*)

(Just then, a disembodied evil laugh echoes throughout the house.)

SpyroGamer2008: What the…? (*Pauses the game and walks upstairs to see what is wrong*) Mom? Did you say something?

(Silence)

SpyroGamer2008: (*Shrugs*) It’s probably just my imagination playing tricks on me. (*Goes back to playing Spyro 2*)

(Just then, lightning strikes an electric pole in the distance, and travels down the electric wire that is powering SpyroGamer2008’s house. The electricity from the lightning then travels down through the wire, into the house, through the circuit breaker, through the plug powering the television, through the Playstation 2 wire, and down the controller port. This gives SpyroGamer2008 a slight shock. Also in this scene, you see SpyroGamer2008’s Playstation 2 start sparking and smoking.)

SpyroGamer2008: (*Reacting to the electric shock*) OW! What the heck?

(*SpyroGamer2008 starts to examine his hand and see what just happened, when suddenly the television bursts into a blinding lightshow)

SpyroGamer2008: (*Transfers his gaze toward the television screen*) What the…? What’s going on with the T.V.?

(The Television connecting to the T.V. starts to shake and spark.)

SpyroGamer2008: That doesn’t look good. I’d better…

(Suddenly, the television seems to start pulling everything in the room toward it. Anything that is not secure starts flying toward the television at an unimaginable speed. While this is happening, the Spyro 2 Game on the television screen starts to flicker and then transforms into some sort of portal.)

SpyroGamer2008: What’s happening? (*Starts to get pulled in toward the T.V.*) Oh no! It’s pulling me in. Help! Somebody! Anybody! HEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP! (*SpyroGamer2008 attempts to grab onto a wall of his house, but looses his grip, and gets sucked into the T.V.*)

(SpyroGamer2008’s house suddenly grows quiet)

(Camera then zooms out above SpyroGamer2008’s house, and an evil voice chuckles)

Mysterious Dark Voice: (*Evil Chuckle*) Don’t worry, you pathetic little human. You’ll find out what’s happening soon enough. (The Mysterious Dark Voice then reveals himself to be the Dark Master aka Malefor.) But when you do, it’ll be too late. (*Evil Laugh*)

(Camera fades to black)

Update: I've written some more of our Spyro Story for Chapter 2, but I'm currently stuck on what to write next. Any ideas from where I should continue? Or do you think I should go back and revise what I currently have? Post a reply or PM me your ideas.

Update: Okay, I've started working a little bit on this project once again. Another post for this story will be up soon. I decided to extend the story some more for Chapter 2, since it's so short. But, I should be able to post some more of this story by either the end of this week, or sometime in May. So stay tuned...

I'm so glad you started writing this again! Your style reminds me of someone I know on another website. Are you going to have more humans entering Spyro's world?

Sorry for not posting anything for the last three months. I was planning on making another section for the story, but then summer came and I lost my school laptop. And besides that, I've been busy with the usual stuff. (School, Glitch Guide Work, Life, etc.) So, in case you have been wondering what happened to the story, I'm still working on it. I'm hoping to have at least a small section up by the end of the month. Thank you for you guys being so patient.

Progress On Story: I'm currently editing the Prologue and Chapter 1 for some minor changes in the wording. You probably won't notice it when I post it, but I'm just changing the words here and there in order to make the story flow better. Nothing else. The rest of the story will be the same. Also, I'm currently working on the rest of Chapter 2. (I've already worked on it a little bit today.) So an update should be on the way soon.

Okay, the wait is finally over. I finally got another section of the story done. This still takes place in Chapter 2, and I'm undecided if I should end this part of the story like this still. (I might add a little bit more to this section before I end the chapter.) But until then, enjoy the fruits of my labor! Enjoy!

Back in the Dragon Realm…
Sparx: This is starting to get boring. Just how long does it take for us to fly from the Dragon Temple to the Chronicler’s Temple?

Spyro: Not much longer. We just have to get to Celestial Caves. Don’t worry Sparx! It won’t take much longer.

Sparx: *Groans* Man, if you weren’t so fat, I bet we would be there already!

Spyro: *Rolls Eyes* Man, Sparx, aren’t you in a cranky mood.

Sparx: I’M NOT CRANKY! (*Pauses For A Few Seconds*) Remind me again why we had to bring that little “nuisance” along. (*Looks at Cynder*)

Spyro: Sparx… (*Looks at Cynder to see if she heard Sparx’s response, but sees that she’s looking away from the two of them*) What’s the matter, Cynder? You’ve been awfully quiet throughout the whole trip.

Cynder: I don’t know. I just have that feeling again, you know? (*Looks away, then turns back to Spyro*) Remember after you saved me from the Dark Master, and we had that same feeling that something bad was going to happen? Well, I’m having that feeling again. Something just doesn’t seem right.

Spyro: Well, don’t worry about it. I’m sure it’s noth…
(*Spyro then starts to go through that dream-like state in mid-flight like in The Legend Of Spyro: The Eternal Night*)

Cynder: Spyro! What’s wrong?

Sparx: Oh boy! Not this again! Please say there’s another mutant turtle to save Spyro again!

Cynder: Wait! I think I see land! Yes! That’s it! Celestial Caves! Quick Sparx! I have an idea! Help me support Spyro! Maybe the two of us can get him to land before he fully passes out!

Sparx: Are you crazy? I’m just an insect! How on earth can I carry a dragon that’s over 100 times my size? Let alone 10,000 times my weight!

Cynder: Sparx!

(*Spyro starts to slowly plummet toward the ocean*)

Sparx: Oh, all right. (*Goes to help Cynder*) Geez Spyro! Wait to go and pass out on us!

(*Spyro is still descending, despite Cynder’s and Sparx’s efforts, but luckily Spyro is descending at a much slower pace because of their efforts*)

Sparx: This isn’t working. We’re gonna’ crash!

Cynder: (*Straining underneath Spyro*) Just…a…little…bit…closer!

(*Sparx and Cynder somehow get Spyro onto land, but end up crashing*)
