This story is about a trio of hatchlings who are being trained to become warrior dragons. They are Scrappy, Ragnar, and Squix.

Chapter 1 Training

Scrappy, Ragnar, and Squix sat on the floor.
"Scrappy. Scrappy!" cried the guardian, Philemon.
"What? What?" asked Scrappy as he woke up.
"We're starting training." said Ragnar.
"Oh good!" exclaimed Scrappy.
A dummy sat infront of them. Philemon wacked at the chalk board with his stick, "Master Flame will be teaching you today." A drawing of Master Flame was on the board.
Master Flame rushed in, "Hello everybody! Today you will be fighting 3 apes, each a differen't size. I will help if you get in trouble."

The dummy multiplied into 3, then they all turned into apes. Squix was cowering behind Ragnar.
The first one was small, it ran at Ragnar.
Ragnar quickly slashed it with his tail, killing it.
The 2nd was medium, it took on Scrappy.
Scrappy quickly shot a bolt of lightning into it, killing it.
The 3rd was large, it approached the cowering Squix, "Boo."
Squix ran and the ape chased him.
Master Flame quickly killed it with a fireball.

"Ragnar, very good. Scrappy, also very good. Squix, not so much. You must train on your free time for we will be taking a test next week," replied Master Flame, "You are dismissed."
Ragnar, Scrappy, and Squix went over to their sitting area and waited for their next lesson.
