All right, another story from me. Trust me, I'll try to finish this one. xP Its about Spyro and Cynder, generally no fanchars, because I know people want Spyro stories xD. It's generally centred around Cynder. Heres the plot:

One night, long after Malefor’s defeat, Cynder drifts off to sleep, but is met with an unwanted dream. This dream twists and intertwines itself into reality, until she doesn’t know what is real and what is not. It gets worse when the prophecy comes true…

Chapter One:

Cynder shifted quietly on the floor of the cave. She had just come out of a lovely dream. She settled back onto the fabric she was lying on. It was stuffed with heather and some sort of soft, puffy leaf. Cynder started to dream again, this time into a blue vortex. Mist swirled around her feet and somehow a shape started to form. It then began to make the shape of a lifeless dragon, lying on the floor in a puddle of liquid. Then it swirled and became a tree, a huge, heavily leaved tree, with branches that intertwined like a massive maze. Then it started to disperse into a hatchling, only a couple of minutes old, the egg shell still stuck to its tiny scales. It clouded and became a young dragon, though the mist had become black, and the young dragon started to move. Cynder was amazed, but petrified at this sight. Then a white mist dragon formed behind the black dragon. He began to speak.
"Seven times he will come,
Seven times until his work is done..."
The black dragon leapt towards her, sharp teeth glinting...
POOF! It seemed to explode into thin air.
"AHH!" Cynder screamed, emerging from her dream. She was breathing shallowly, as if she'd seen a ghost.
"What's the matter?" Spyro, whom she had just woken, asked sleepily.
Should I tell him? No, he need'nt be worried just by a silly dream.
" Uh, nothing. Just a bad dream." she replied, trying to smile. She knew that it hadn't been jsut a bad dream, it was more than that. It was true...

Chapter 2

"Go back to sleep." the purple dragon grunted, twisting to see the mouth of the cave.
"On second thoughts, get up." He said a little more enthusiastically. The sun was shining bright on the smooth slate walls of the cave. The veiw from the cave was quite brilliant. A large, rushing river pierced the centre and shone a sparkling silver. The snaky river was filled with clean, refreshing water, though something in the atmosphere made it silver, a freak of nature. It rolled though hills and valleys, that seemed to frame the sun as it rose.
"I-I'm sorry that I woke you up, I just had a bad dream about, um, Gaul." Cynder alpologised, though still lying.
"It's okay." Spyro smiled, getting up and walking to the mouth of the cave. Cynder joined him, and they twisted their tails together.

Meanwhile...

A twig cracked in the nearby wood.
"Shut up!" a cross voice growled, coming from a green dragon.
" Well, Sorry" Another answered, this dragon a deep blue. The green dragon turned back to watching Spyro and Cynder.
"The idiots, thinking that evil was gone, finished. I'll show them. I will." He snarled.
"Do we have to do this, Vine?" the deep blue one asked.
"Yes, or the Master's plan will fail, Echo."
Like it's not going to anyway, him thinking he can twist reality to his whim... Vine thought.

Chapter 3

"Did you hear that Cynder?" Spyro asked, turning towards the binch of trees on a hill nearby. "It was a cracking noise."
"No. Don't worry anyway, it'll just be an animal" She replied calmly, trotting back into the warm cave.
Spyro glanced at the trees once more and started to follow her, but something had pinned his tail to the floor! He turned his head, quivering slightly with fear of the creature casting a shadow over him. It snarled, showing rows of sharp thorns? Surely it should have teeth? The rest of its body was heavily muscled, and green. It had large leaf-like fins potruding from its back and its wingfingers appeared to be moving logs. The membrane was like a leaf, the veins full of chloropyll showing in the sunlight.
" You die, NOW!" the beast growled, spitting nectar at him. It swiped with razor sharp claws but Spyro managed to writhe free his tail and dodge. He used the split-second when the earth dragon had injured himself on the floor to call out:
"CYNDER! RUN!" He cried. She jetted out of the cave to help him, and saw the earth dragon.
"No, I will fight." Cynder growled, glaring at the immense dragon.
They were in combat for what seemed like hours, Cynder managed to erode with acid the green dragon's tail spike , which was like a cannon ball with spikes. Spyro had burnt the wing membrane of the dragon, who kept repeating something under his breath. Cynder caught snatches of it.
"Seven times, seven times."
She was entranced by the link to her dream, which enabled the enemy to attack. The sharp claws crashed into her ribcage, winding her. She skidded unconciously across the floor. Spyro ran to her side. She was still breathing.
Unfortunatley, Spyro's concern for her lost him valuble time. The enemy slashed, but before the claws could connect to Spyro's body, they closed on another being. An adult dark blue dragon had taken the blow.
"Stop, Vine, please." Echo asked, as her last breath escaped her. She colapsed onto the floor, lifeless. Vine, the earth dragon, paused, starting to mourn slightly, then started to smile. He then roared valiantly, then lifted his bark wings and flew into the distance.
"Urr." Cynder groaned, coming to. She saw the lifeless Echo lying on the floor, and saw the same picture as from the mist. Cynder got to her feet and walked to the blue dragon.
"No. No." she muttered.

"Uh, Cynder, what's wrong?" Spyro asked, climbing to his feet and padding over to her.
"You wouldn't understand." she replied uneasily.
"I could try."
"No, if, if it didn't happen to you, it is impossible to understand, like, like, being turned dark. I know, both have happened to me." Cynder sighed, twisting and running away, tears streaming down her face.
Why me? Why?
She finally stopped in a thicket, but met something she never wished to see again. A black mist slithered its way between trees and then rejoined the mass that was forming. It pulsated, then seemed to be moulded by invisable paws, and turned into... the black dragon. It was translucent, she could just see the trees behind it through its chest, yet it was real at the same time. A black light seemed to pulse around it, and it beared its teeth. It spoke in a deep, rasping voice.
" I am the end,
I am the beginning.
I am everything.
Yet nothing.
I am -"
"Death." Cynder whispered. It nodded, but seemed not to want to hurt her.
"I am not here to hurt you. Yet. Anyway, its not my fault I'm evil. I'm just like you really..."
" YOU'RE NOTHING LIKE ME!" Cynder screamed, then jetted out of the thicket.

Chapter 5

WOOMPH. Cynder crashed into an unaware Spyro, who had been looking for her.
"What the-"
"I'm sorry." She blurted out, interuppting him.
"Don't worry. Why did you run away?" Spyro inquired.
"I - I was just feeling emotional, that's all." She replied.
"Yeah. I've had a wierd feeling since that 'Vine' attacked. I feel as though I've felt it before." he said, staring into the distance.
"I know. Spyro, It's the feeling of war. Darkness is rising again, and, and this time, I don't think we can stop it." she said, gulping.
"We can. I'll stop it. This time, there's a lot to fight for." Spyro replied, turning to her. "I fight for you." He said, lovestruck.
"And I fight for you," Cynder answered.
"Come on, we need to coolect what stores we can, then travel to Warfang to help. If it found us here, it'll have searched the dragon city first."
"I'm with you." Cynder answered, though still in deep thought of the past events of that day.
Somethings wrong here... what is it? she thought...

Another short one. But hey, its a chapter. Anyways, the next 1 or 2 may not have a lot of action, but so what? xD I promise, as it gets deeper into the plot, it gets much epicer.

Chapter 6
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cynder trotted after Spyro on the way back to their cave. They had few possesions, but Cynder only treasured one of hers. It was a voilet jewel, that you could see the world in a different perspective through. It was carved to be like a diamond on one side, and the other was sanded down to a flat surface. It hung on a chain which she strung around her neck when she reached the cave. Spyro picked up a singed scale, from Ignitus. It dissappeared on cantact with his skin, the way dragons often carry things, the object will get suspended in Zero Space, a sort of storage place for the universe.
" Uh, are you packed?" He asked.
"Yeah, onto Warfang and whatever we may find there." Cynder replied.
"I hope its good."
" Me too."
They left the cave, and their home, behind them to go into the unknown.
Their route would be through the canyon that the Destroyer had made when completeing the belt of fire. Warfang was just to the left of that. The journey would take around 3 days, so the young dragons readied their wings and took off.

Chapter 7

They had been flying for at least 12 hours now, so were exausted anyway. Cynder had started to feel drowsy, but no should could hardly keep her wings flapping.
We have to stop.. then she lost conciousness. Her body plummeted, with Spyro in a sky dive after her, his face creased with worry, confusion and concentration. But Cynder's mental state was no where near these events.
She was back with the mist in a blue world, the mist once again twisting and morphing. She shook her head but forced herself to watch it. It moulded itself into a battlefield on a desert. There were signs of a struggle in the sand, but in the middle lay a dragoness. A male stood beside her, weeping. For some reason, Cynder felt a pang of loss at this sight. But before she could inspect closely, the mist blurred and transformed.
This time it became a hatchery. A small room in which all the orphaned eggs would hatch. There were 5 shelves lining the walls, each full of eggs. But these eggs were smashed. Some had the almost formed embryo still inside. Cynder felt great pity for the eggs. The mist started to seep out of veiw as a distant voice screamed at her.

"CYNDER?! Are you all right?" Spyro gasped. Dispite his efforts, she had hit the ground, hard.
"Yeah. Uh, though my wing has a tear in it.." Cynder rasped, regaining conciousness. She had escaped, unscathed, because her mental state was at peace.
" Phew. For a moment there..." He gasped, sitting up. " I uh, think we should stay the night here. It seems fine." They had landed in a clearing in a forest,but it had trees with blue leaves. Every shade of blue, mixed into one canvas. Turquiose, baby blue and navy.
"I agree." she said, turning over to rest.
"Good night, Cynder." Spyro whispered as he settled down to rest. He faced the East, and watched as the sun set.
"Good night Spyro." Cynder replied, turning to give him a lick on the cheek.
He blushed, then smiled.
