Jessie: A dark green dragon with a pink bow. Liam's cousin.

Liam: Jessie's little cousin. A few years younger than her though they travel together. He always wants to be like Rusty.

Rusty: A dragon of much help. He's the little warrior of the trio and the eldest.

Chapter 1: Training at the Dojo.

Two years have passed since Spyro and Cynder's disappearance and yet, still no sign of them. Now an evil Sorceress is back as a leader to Malefor's minions.
"Liam."
"Present!"
"Jessie."
"Yes sir!"
"Rusty....Rusty!"
"Yeah yeah...I heard ya the first time." The trio was being trained by Titan, a warrior of the Peace Keapers. Titan looked down at Rusty.
"You got some nerve kid...you'll need that nerve to take on The Sorceress." Titan started to pace up and down. Liam looked at Rusty.
"Two words: Breath Mints..." Titan stopped in front of Rusty again.
"You'll will today be trained by Agent 9; A highly intelligent special operative." Liam got all exited and started to clap then noticed no one else was and stopped.

Agent 9 dropped from the roof and landed in front of the trio.
"SO you guys ready to kick some Rhynoc butt?" The trio nodded.
"Good cause I 'accidenily' let some rhynocs into the dojo again..."
"RHYNOCS?!" Liam hid behind Jessie.
"Three little ones one for each then a fat one with a big spining pole."
"Four? But how are WE supposed to defeat them?" Jessie asked.
"If you can't kill it I'll help with my lazer."
"Problem solved...let's get em!" Rusty cheered.

"Wait...problem solved? Rusty...the problem isn't solved till we get rid of the Sorceress..."
"Uh..right...I knew that." Titan looked at them all and teleported them to the front gates. Agent 9 climbed the walls watching them. The first rhynoc walked up to Jessie. She used some karate like melee attacks sending the rhynoc into the air. She jumped up and used the Earth Pound defeating the small rhynoc. Agent 9 watched amazed. The second one came out and charged at Rusty.
"So that's how it is eh?" Rusty used Ice attacks to create a barrior around the 2nd rhynoc. Then shatter the ice shattering the rhynoc.
"Heh heh heh..." The 3rd rhynoc looked at Liam with a scared look on it's face. Liam walked up to it and punched it lightly. Th rhynoc smirked and tail whiped Liam. Agent 9 shot it with his lazer weakening it. Liam finished it off with a Comet Dash.

Good part

A pole stuck up from the ground. A Rhynoc come from the ground and started to swing it's pole around knocking the three into a wall. Jessie got up and used a huge earth boulder to knock the rhynoc to the floor. Rusty started to spin on his tail creating an electric whirlwind attacking the Rhynoc then finally Liam blasted a huge bomb at the rhynoc blowing it to simtherines.
"We did it!" Liam looked at the leftover smoke and blew it away. Jess sat there looking pleased. The three done a little pose.
"Kinderguardians at your service!" Said the three.

Chapter 2: A princess' disappearance...

Agent 9 dropped from the wall and walked up to the trio; amazed.
"You compleatly destroyed the rhynoc! Although I could have done better..." Rusty growled at him. Agent 9's comunicator started buzzing.
"What now?" Agent 9's face suddenly went from annoyed to shock.
"Are you serious?!" Rusty looked at Jessie.
"What he babbleing about?"
"Does it look like I know?" Agent 9 looked at the trio again.
"Have you three heard of a Princess of the name, Ashe?" The trio shook there heads.
"She came from a portal that Bianca opened up a few months ago. She claims to have come from a world other than ours."
"So what do you want us to do?" Agent 9 sighed.
"She's been kidnapped by the Sorceress. By all means your should save her." Liam started to freak out.
"SORCERESS?!!?"

This is like... an original. Nice DC.

"Your not ready for the Sorceress yet..."
"I'm afraid I have some more bad news." A little blue penguin dropped from the skies with a jetpack.
"Bianca former student to the Sorceress has rejoined her far stonger then any rhynoc I've ever seen in my days." Liam shivered.
"Isn't Bianca that nice rabbit?" Liam asked. The penguin nodded.
"Of course. Who else did you think I was talking about?"
"But I don't really think she's nice anymore Liam." Rusty explained to him.
"Who are you anyway?" Jessie asked the penguin.
"Sgt. James Byrd...thats what they call me."

At the Sorceress' lair...
Bianca bursted through the doors.
"So...you decided to come back to me?!" Bianca nodded.
"B-But I have news...that purple dragon; Spyro's gone! Vanished!"
"Well...if he's gone then no one can stop me!"
"But there are new hero's...three hatchlings in training-"
"That's the point child! THEY ARE HATCHLINGS!!!!!" The Sorceress roared at Bianca. A rhynoc walked up to the Sorceress with her staff.
"You! You shall become our newest creation. Show me what your made off Bianca!" The Sorceress snatched the staff from the rhynoc. Bianca got her spellbook out and casted and enchanting spell.
"Melorphus-zumo-musto!" In a flash of light the Rhynoc started to change.

Liam closed his eyes. He had a little vision of Bianca and the Rhynoc.
"Uh..." He tugged on Jessie's shoulder.
"What?!"
"I saw Bianca and a Rhynoc." Rusty laughed.
"Don't worry. They'll be gone after I'm done with them..." Titan walked up behind Liam.
"Can you explain what happened?" Titan asked.
"Well she casted a spell on it and it started to change." Titan thought.
"Mmm....Interesting...we shall get the Professer. And you three get to Glimmer...I got a bad feeling somethings there..."

Chpt 3: A Cave of Gems...

"Can you take us there?" Liam asked Titan.
"What to you think I am a bouncing pixie?! GET GOING!!!!" Liam was startled.
"Y-YES SIR!!!" Liam saluted to Titan shaking a lot. Jessie facepalmed while Rusty shook his head in shame.
"Do we have to travel with this runt?" Jessie nodded.
"I can't just leave him behind...he's my cousin. Shouldn't we be going?" Liam turned around to face them.
"I'd be happy to go to Glimmer now..." Sgt.Byrd flew in front of them.
"I shall escort you. It's a jungle out there." Rusty laughed.
"We don't need your help! We're dragons! We have instict." Sgt.Byrd thought.
"Hmpf...very well...after all Spyro did know his way around." The trio walked past the flying penguin and to the gates of the dojo.
"Goodbye and thank god we're outta there..." Jessie punched Rusty lightly.
"What? I was being honest..." Jess shook her head. A few hours later they finally got to a large castle like building halfly under a lake.
"A.V.A.L.A.R?" Liam spelt out.
"Avalar." Jessie corrected him.
"No duh..." Rusty was being an annoyance as usual. Liam yawned as the sut set.
"Sunset already?" Liam lied down.
"Shelter?" Rusty asked Jess. Jessie looked around and found a tower of sorts.
"Over there maybe?" The trio went inside but there was a huge, deep gap in front.
"A...gap eh?"
"Useful..." Jessie narrowed her eyes at Rusty.
"What? I wanna see!" Liam bumped through causing Jessie to fall into the hole.
"I'm ok!!!" Liam & Rusty glided down. After a while they fell asleep.

Summer Forest, 12:00 Midnight...

Rusty awoke from a booming sound and looked over at Liam who was fast asleep then went over to look at Jessie but she wasn't there. He looked up at the top of the ledge and saw something move.
"Hello?" He climbed the stairs and saw her sitting there overlooking the forest.
"Sometimes I think about how I got into this mess...and how I get out of it." Rusty sat beside her.
"Well at least we're not fighting Malefor himself right?"
"Yeah I guess so...but the Sorceress and Bianca just...just-"
"Makes you feel like this is the end?" Jessie laughed a little.
"Something like that yeah..." Rusty looked at her then back down at the forest. Jess glided down to the river. Rusty followed her.
"I almost forgot..." He held out a small silver & purple gemstone.
"I-I found it in the river back at dojo and always wanted to give it to you but...I couldn't quite work up the courage to give it to ya..." He blushed a little. Jess took it from his paw and looked at it.
"Thank you Rusty." Rusty turned around and flew back up to the tower. After that one moment...I felt as if it changed my life in some-any sort of way...

Summer Forest, 6:00 the next day...

Well I had to admit Rusty was acting very strange...not like any of you would know... Jessie was awoken by Liam.
"Wake up sleepy head!"
"Huh? Wha?" She got up and looked at the gem her eye reflecting in it.
"Weird..." Rusty walked outside and spotted the portal.
"You guys ready?" He asked as he walked in followed by Liam. Jessie ran after the two. They entered Glimmer but it was all different in a bad way. A thick evil mist was scattered through the mines. All the gems were eather a grey colour or shattered.
"Titan was right..." A giant crystal-spider dropped from the sky and hissed at the trio. Rusty froze it followed by Jessie shattering the spider.
Glimmer was different...gems were shattered...by an evil mist...

Chpt 4: A recarnation of a Fossil...

A yellow bird like thing ran past and looked at the three.
"Kweh?" It tilted it's head to the side.
"And I thought I saw everything..." Jess gasped at the bird creature. Rusty looked at it.
"It's just a stupid bird!" The creature charged at Rusty trying to eat him.
"WHOA!!!! DOWN! HEEL! STOP! Argh!" Rusty dodged its moves. Liam laughed.
"Kweh!" Liam called at the bird. It stopped and put it's head down in shame. Jessie giggled.
"Wierd...but cute!" The trio walked into the cave. It was crawling with mini spiders. The bird followed the three. Two big red eyes peered through the mist watching they're every move.

"KWEEEHHHH!!!!!" The trio looked back to the bird creature dead.
"Huh?" A blast of energy came from under the bridge destroying it.
"Oh great." Rusty complained. Jessie looked around and spotted a ladder and climbed it.
"Cus! What are you doin'?!" Liam yelled up to her. A roar was heard then giant footsteps. A shadowy t-rex figure ran out the exit. Jessie glided from there to the ledge on the other side.
"Comming?" Rusty and Liam followed through the same method. The three followed the monster.
"W-What was that?" Liam asked.
"And I would know why?" Rusty rolled his eyes. They cornered the monster.
"Why does it look familiar?" Liam asked himself. The green monster laughed at them.
"I am a Recarnation of Buzz the legendary green rhynoc of the lava!" Jessie had a small flashback.
...A small purple dragon was being chased by a gigantic green monster. The dragon turned around and knocked it into the lava surrounding the arena.
"See ya mate!" Said a kangaroo as it stomped the monster into the lava...Buzz looked similar to the one in her flashback but this one was different. It had a long tail but still the same head and the left arm was replaced with a cannon. Rusty shot ice shards at Buzz but hardly made a scratch.
"So a fight is it eh?" Buzz roared at Rusty and spat fire at him. Rusty was knocked back. Jessie earth pounded him but he stayed on the earth...

Jessie looked at it stay there.
"What in the world?" Buzz gave a deep belly laugh then sprayed the three in a sticky substance. He jumped up mimicing Jess' earth pound then blew them away with an earth shot. They got up slightly confused. Buzz laughed at them. The three shot they're elements into his mouth damaging it.
"I didn't train for this!" Liam yelled out. Buzz was teleported away by a bubbly magical force. The trio looked around for the magic bearer.
"Quite amazing guys!" A pink dragon trotted out of the shadows.
"Who are you?" Jessie asked. Rusty somehow was keeping quiet. Liam was starled.
"I'm Ember." She pointed out.
"Ember? My mother told me that I had a sister named Ember. She ran away after Ashe disappeared." Ember nodded.
"Then you must be Jessie right?"
"How'd you guess?" She asked.
"I...uh...have powers..." Ember said nervously.
"Why are you here anyway?" Liam asked her.
"I used to work with the gemcutters. I'm having trouble with Buzz and the Sorceress." Ember looked at Jessie.
"Well I did have a sister too she was green."
"I guess you two are related then?" Rusty asked. Ember ran over to a giant purple gem. The three followed.
"This is a dark gem. Put your paw on it." Ember put her paw on it. Jessie did the same.
"What's it saying?"
"It's telling me the location of Ashe and my relitives. So it's telling me your my sister?" Ember laughed.
"That's what it said right?"
Rusty watched them.
"Do they ever shut up?" Liam laughed.

Chpt 5: The three powers of the World...

Rusty barged through.
"Can we get going now?!" He yelled at them. Ember nodded.
"We should. Oh! I forgot...this might come in handy. Follow me!" Ember trotted off the three following.
"Well?" They stopped in front of a superfly powerup.
"Liam, could you fly around flaming the magic lamps?" Liam was shaken.
"I-I'll try..." He glided through the powerup and flamed them. He landed back near the others. Bright colours sprayed through the lamp crystals hitting the giant one in the middle. A spray of light hit the ground dispelling the curse returning it to normal. Time stopped...

Liam looked around, frightened. Jessie's eyes were wide. Rusty looked up to see a wise grey dragon.
"Young dragons... ..." He spoke.
"And who are you supposed to be? Cryptosporidium?"
"I am Ignitus...the Chronicler...and you three must be Jessie...Liam...and Rusty?"
"Sure are pops." Rusty answered. Jessie hit him.
"You three are the only ones who can save Ashe...she is not from this world...nor mine. She is from a realm by the name of, 'Ivalice'."
"Ivalice...sounds scary..." Liam trumbled. Ignitus nodded slightly.
"But you three have talent! Purple dragon like talent only weaker." Rusty sighed.
"Well that lifts my hopes up of defeating the Sorceress..." Jess said sarcasticly and unaware of what she said. "Did I say that out loud?"
"You have hidden powers indeed...Time..." He looked at Liam. "Space..." He looked towards Rusty. "And darkness..." He glanced at Jess. "The next portal lies ahead..." Ignitus said before he vanished. Time resumed.
"Lovely." Rusty rolled his eyes.
That dragon...Ignitus...he said he was a chronicler. I heard it before but never knew what it ment. And another portal...great just what we need. I wonder where it leads to...
