This story is about a dragon named Hakushi. It will be from his hatching to his death, so it may be a long story. But I hope you like it anyway!

Chapter 1: a New World

I was cramped in my small world. My head hit something every time I shifted position. Also it was unbearably dark. I couldn't see anything. I was fed up with it. I kicked the substance that imprisoned me. It broke without me kicking very hard. Light poured into my small world. I stepped out of the place I used to know. It was cold and hard. I still couldn't see anything!
"Whose is it?" a voice said. I turned my head but I still couldn't see.
"I don't know!" another whispered. Again I tried to look around but i couldn't see! I blinked to make sure my eyes were open. i blinked three times. I squeaked and grunted to make sure I could speak.
"Oh, mom, can't we take him!?" the first voice said.
"No, Ricee, you know we can't. Your father wouldn't let him stay." the second one said. I heard footsteps coming my way.
"And who is this?" it said in a deep voice.
"We just found him, daddy!" Ricee said. I turned my head from side to side as each voice spoke.
"Hmm, what will we do with it, Destiny?" the third voice asked.
"I don't know. Ricee wants it to stay with us." Destiny said.
"I guess he could." the man said.
"Oh, do you mean it, Cockitrice?" Destiny asked hopefully.
"Yes, I do. Come now, and Ricee, take the new addition." Cockitrice said.

Chapter 2: a New Family

Ricee picked me up. I squirmed and wriggled and tried to say 'Let me go!' but all that came from my lungs were grunts and squeaks. I felt the warm scales on his paws. I stopped and waited. Listening for a sound, waiting for a touch, something! I squeaked again.
"Oh, get it to shut up!" Cockitrice complained.
"Hush, hush, shhh. Dad doesn't like when dragons whine. I would stop if I where you." Ricee said in a hushed tone. I sat quietly, for I thought I understood him. I Suddenly felt as if my body was changing. It was painful! I screeched as My small body was lifted from Ricee's arms. I heard my screeches turned to growls as my scales started to cover in fur. Destiny quickly grabbed Ricee and held him tight. I continued to transform. I screamed wildly as my fangs grew larger and my tail was covered in fur too. I grew a large main and my claws grew. my eyes turned from their original blue-gray to a horrid yellow. I opened my eyes and I could see! I looked at myself. I had gray fur and a black main. I realized I had turned into a cat creature!

Chapter 3: Attack

I screamed as furry ears spurted from my head. The pain was unbearable. My scaled paw were now lined with fur and had three large claws coming from them. I also grew, I grew until I was larger than a fill grown dragon.

Now you see one dragon and one human have a link. So if something happens to the human, it happens to the dragon. A woman had prayed to her cat god, Orsile, to make her son less beautiful. For he was being put to death for being more beautiful than the prince. Orsile granted her wish. He cast his hand upon Jun-Jun, the woman's son. He slowly became a cat person. And it just so happened to be that the chick and Jun-Jun were linked.

"Now feel the wrath of Hakushi!" I said aloud to the the frightened dragons. I was on all four legs as I ran at them. Cockitrice tried to breath fire at me, but I simply charged through the attack. I jumped with out stretched claws and an open mouth. I jumped out of the smoke so he didn't even see me leap. I clawed his face and one of his eyes as I leaped over him. I ran after the fleeing Destiny. I stopped. I turned to see Ricee running after his mother. I let lose an evil grin as I sped after him. But I felt weak as the moon rose. I collapsed onto the tall grass. The world went into darkness one more. I wasn't out cold, yet. The pain filled my body again. I squealed as my ears shrank and turned to my two black horns. I winced my fur turned to scales. I panted as my mane was replaced with ridges. I shrank and my furry tail was replaced be a sharp point, like a knife. and my paws were back to normal self again. Then from the tall grass came Destiny, just looking at me. Ricee looked at me to then at his father. He shook his head as he ran to him.
"No, dad don't go." he whispered.
"I'm not going anywhere." he smiled weakly. Cockitrice slowly got to his feet. he turned to face me.
"What will we do with, with Hakushi?" Destiny asked.
"Well, I will not let him die out here. We will take him. Now come, and take Hakushi." he said.

Chapter 4: departure

Seventeen years has passed

"No WAY! I am NOT staying with you guys any longer." I hissed.
"Why not!?" Ricee said.
"I just almost KILLED you all, several times. I am a threat. I will come back when I learn to control my new... what ever this transformation thing is." I hissed. I left the family I thought as my own. I started to trot into the plain. The tall grass tickled my stomach, and the sweet smell of berries wafted though through the air.
"Good bye, brother..." Ricee said. I could only just hear his words. But the sun started to rise and I felt the pain of the transformation. I was a cat again, but I could not attack anything so I continued to trot on. Still I felt angry, like I was alone in a alien world. I wanted to be with someone.
"Why me, why me, I could have had a wonderful life. Now look at me, I am a cat dragon- thing!" I grumbled as I beard my teeth. Something hot was in my mouth. A green liquid ran down my jaws. It burned! A glob of it formed in my mouth. I quickly spit it out, but it flew about twenty feet before hitting the ground. I continued to walk wile wiping my jaws on the tall grass. It felt cool and good. I heard a voice. I perked my ears up. The sunlight lit up the dragon's purple scales. It was a teenager, about my age, maybe younger. I had an erg to attack it but held it back.
"Hurry, get out of here! There isn't much time!" I said to it. It crouched down. I realized it was trying to hunt me! I let my self go. It shot electricity at me. I held my paws out, hoping that the pain would be less. I felt NO pain. I looked down to see the small partials of electricity revolving around my furry paws. I laughed as I put all the electricity into only one paw and ran at him. I pinned him down and was about to put the electricity into his heart but stopped. I put my paw onto the ground and let the electricity drain. I growled and let him up. I turned around to leave, but he put his paw onto my back, and looked at me.
"Who are you?" he said.
"My name is Hakushi. who are you?" I asked.
"I am Spyro." he said.

Chapter 5: New friends

"The slayer of the dark master? It is a honer to meet you." I said. The moon rise and I winced in pain as the fur retracted and revealed scales. My fangs shrank and the pads on my paws vanished. The world became dark again, as I am blind. Spyro gasped at my new appearance. I smiled as I had gotten used to it. Every day I was a cat and every night I was a dragon. A sleek black dragoness stepped out from the thicket. She glared at me and looked at Spyro with care.
"What have you been doing? I have been waiting for half an hour." she asked him.
"Cynder this is Hakushi, a very... unusual dragon." he said looking for the right words. I bowed my head in respect and stood up strait afterwords. Cynder looked at me and said, "Humph, I would like to see that."
"oh, trust me, you do NOT." Spyro said. I looked at Cynder, she was mean and cold, she was the most beautiful creature I ever seen. I sighed and started to walk away from the two when Spyro stopped me.
"Where are you gong?" he asked.
"Nowhere, I do not have a family or a home to go to." I sighed.
"Why dont you come stay with us?" he smiled.
"Okay, thanks." I smiled back. Cynder was obviously angered but said nothing.

Chapter 6: A New Found Love

Spyro was leading me to their home in the waterfall. It had a beautiful view of a monumental valley. There was a river and many rocks to bask on. It had cliffs and a village near the waterfall. I had a grand time looking at the landscape before tearing himself away. I looked at Spyro who was asleep on the ground.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Cynder asked. I flinched, for he had not known Cynder was next to me.
"Ahem, oh, yes, yes it is..." I said looking back at the place that was to be my new home.
"Cynder," I started, " would you please show me around this new place?"
"Sure." she said. She leaped out of the cave, though the water fall, and into the moonlight. I smiled and did the same as we hovered in the air. We glided over to the village I had seen.
"This is the cheetah village, if we ever run out of food and cannot hunt we come here." she said. A cheetah looked up and waved to us. We waved back happily. Cynder then looked deep into my eyes, almost like she was reading my mind. We went on with the tour and when we finished took the secret way back into the cave. We looked at the land again together. This time though she put her head on my chest and took a deep sigh. After about ten minuets we lay down together, tails intertwined. I slowly fell asleep with Cynder by my side.

And Cynder loving him? Poor, poor Spyro...its related to Tlos in a twisted way, a little too fast into the love part anyway. When i write my story and characters fall in love i take time, aand let the relationship build up between them.

yeah but still I like to keep things moving, and she didn't quite hate Hakushi but she was uncomfortable around him at first. Yeah I kinda is related to TLOS. I tried to make it that way.

And there a such thing of love at first sight.

No, its a change of a story isnt it? Which makes it different from others and interesting, keep going =) I'm enjoying it...

Chapter 7: What is That!?

Cynder awoke the next morning. It was still dark and the gusts of wing sent a chill down her spine. She looked next to her at Hakushi. He lay silent and still. She carefully released her tail and got to her feet. Then a small, teenage dragoness looked into the cave. Cynder was looking the other way so she couldn't see her. The dragoness was the color of a monarch butterfly, a deep yellow with a dotted pattern on her wings. The dragoness smirked, squinted her eyes, and lifted her hand like paws above her head. It looked as if she was struggling, trying to hold something heavy up. Then, almost out of thin air, the sun spiked up into the sky. She looked down to see Hakushi as a cat.
"Good Lord What is That!?" she gasped in a high pitch. Cynder turned and growled at the new dragon, but then looked at what she was looking at.
"HOLY CRAP, A COUGAR!" she screamed. This woke Spyro up, but Hakushi just twitched his ear and frowned, still sleeping. The dragoness and Cynder were screaming their heads off, Spyro was shocked and his vision was still blurry, and Hakushi had just woken up.
"SHUT UP!" he yelled. He growled and looked around. Everyone was staring at him. Then he looked to see the sun.
"Oh crap." he said and bounded down the slope to the ground.

Chapter 8: Sunshine

"WHAT WAS THAT!?" The female dragon screamed.
"No, the question is who are you?" Spyro growled. The girl looked as if she was trying to remember something and giggled, "Oh, right, my name is Sunshine! I control fire, but mine is to the extreme! I cam make the sun rise and fall to my will, I can control a volcanic eruption, I can even stop a meteor that has entered the earth's atmosphere!" Sunshine bragged. She continued to brag while Hakushi leaped onto a good sized rock. He sat and looked at the wonderful landscape. The many trees seemed to glisten, the grass was covered in shining dew. Still he was alone once more. He knew Spyro and Cynder would never accept him. Still he had hope, Spyro accepted Cynder and she was corrupted! But he was still under this spell.
"Oh, what to do. Oh, what to do! I know, I will go to that cheetah village! They will surly accept me!" said Hakushi as he leaped off the rock and into the stream. It was cold and refreshing, but he then remembered: HE COULDN'T SWIM!! He struggled to the surface and gasped for air.
"HELP, HELP ME! I CAN'T SWIM! HELP!!" he gurgled. I shoved myself to the top again and screamed.
"HELP!! HELP ME!!! I CAN'T SWIM! HELP!"
"What was that?" Cynder asked and peered out of the cave. She saw Hakushi's head go under the water.
"I'm coming!" she called and leaped into the water. She grabbed Hakushi's scruff. She tried to pull him to shore but stumbled and was washed down stream. She couldn't open her mouth to talk so she tried once more to get the cat to the shore.
"Elp e uys!" she bubbled with clenched teeth. Sunshine heard her and pressed her paws into the ground. She was panting and sweating and pushing with all her might. Soon heat stated to evaporate the water and the river turned into a stream. Hakushi regained his footing and stood up. He coughed up a lot of water and flopped to the ground.
"What will we do with him?" he heard Spyro ask.
"Hakushi will know, I will find him!" Cynder said and flew off. He tried to say 'I am Hakushi!', but was too weak. the world went into darkness as he fainted.

Chapter 9: Another Attack

Hakushi came too with Sunshine and Spyro staring at him.
"Get off! Move! It is ME HAKUSHI!!" he yelled. Spyro looked at him. He had the same black mane and tail. He had the same white on his body too.
"I need to find Cynder!!" he yelled in panic. he ran and swiftly jumped over the river. He ran and ran until he saw Cynder. She was in a hollow log calling his name. He could see her tail and licked his lips. He then bounded to her, for she had just backed out of the log. HE leaped onto her back and tore at her thought. He missed every time. He roared in frustration. And simply clawed her back until the moon came up when he had forced her to the ground and was pounding her face. she was bleeding and the wounds were infected by now. The moon shown on him and he turned to normal. He backed up and into the river. The blood washed off of him and her splashed back to shore.
"OH NO! CYNDER! Hold on I'll get you to the cheetah village!" he said in panic. Th scooped her into his arms and took flight.
