Here's a bit of a preview.

"It's been years since Spyro and Cynder defeated Malefor and trapped him in the crystal. Now Spyro and Cynder are grown up, and even have a son, Crescent.....

But, on the other side of the valley.....

No one knows that Malefor escaped from his crystal prison. No one knows about Malefor's mate, Thorn. And no one knows his daughter, Twilight....."

I plan on submitting one chapter every day, but sometimes I won't be able to, although I'll post a notice.

Hope you'll like it, it starts tomorrow!

Chapter One
Training

The young purple male dragon rested on a rock, warming his handsome scales. "Crescent!!!" a voice called. Crescent jumped, startled, only to realize it was his dad, Spyro, calling him. He glided over to him. "Yeah, dad?" he asked. He could see that behind Spyro, his mom, Cynder, was fast asleep on another rock. "It's time to train," Spyro said. Crescent sighed. "Today you'll be working on that lava breath of yours," Spyro continued. "I want you to-" "-Smash the boulder. I know I know! Sheesh!" Crescent cut in. "We do the same thing everytime. Crescent shot a blast of lava from his mouth and blew the rock right into pieces. "There, see dad?" Crescent said. "Lava breath learned." "Hmm, OK then 'Master of Breaths'," Spyro said sarcastically. "Try out your nature breath." Crescent nodded, then closed his eyes. Suddenly, vines grew rapidly out of the ground, then Crescent gave a signal with his tail, and the vines hit another rock like a whip and blast that one to pieces too. "Excellent!" Spyro exclaimed as Crescent opened his eyes and smiled with satisfaction. "Now let's see your water breath, but this time, do it to your mom." He winked, and Crescent knew exactly what he meant. Crescent walked carefully up to Cynder, sleeping like a baby. He aimed right for her nose, inhaled, and blew the largest and most beautiful bubbles anyone ever saw. But they quickly popped the moment they touched Cynder's nose. She gave a loud sneeze, and woke up acting as if she was under attack. But then she spotted Crescent, who was laughing histerically over her overreaction. She sighed, told Crescent to get back to training, then fell asleep again. Crescent ran back over to Spyro, who was chuckling under his breath. "OK," Spyro said, catching his breath. "Now for your last element, Convexity." Crescent nodded vigorously, Convexity was his favorite one. You see, both Spyro and Cynder were special dragons, well everyone knew that, but when they both had crescent, he gained so much power that he ws given elements no one knew a dragon could have. And his strongest one was Convexity. Crescent summoned his strength, and shot a purple blast, which blasted right through a rock, then another, then another, and it kept going until Crescent finally ran out of energy and collapsed on the ground, exhausted. Spyro gave him an aprroving look, then they both joined Cynder and fell asleep.

Chapter Two
Evil in Training

Twilight, a yound black female dragon, listened. Thorn, her mother, was also black. Thorn was telling Twilight about how much Malefor is depending on her and how she is the new generation of evil and yadda yadda yadda. Twilight didn't care. All she cared about was practicing her elements. No one, not even her, knew what they were yet, and Twilight wanted to find out more than anything. "Alright, before I teach you to use your elements," Thorn said. "I'm going to show you mine." Finally entering a subject Twilight was interested in, she sat up and listened as carefully as possible. "I, just like your father, have four abilities. This means that you do, too, we just don't know them," Thorn continued. "First of mine-" She spat brown sludge on a passing rabbit. It didn't die, or get hurt, but it couldn't move. Thorn easily picked it up and popped it in her mouth. "-sludge," Thorn finished, gulping down her catch. "Next, I can read other's minds." She made her front left paw glow green, and held it up to Twilight, who studied it carefully. "All I have to do is touch their forehead, and I can instantly read all their thoughts and memories like a book." She made her right paw glow blue. "With this one, I can instantly kill anyone. Again, I just need to touch their forehead. And BOOM! They're dead." Twilight's eyes widened in amavement. She hoped she could have powers that cool. "And last, but certainly not least," Thorn continued. "I can stop time." Twilight laughed. "That's ridiculous!" Twilight teased. But Thorn only rolled her eyes. She closed her eyes and relaxed. She began to glow a faint purple. It got brighter and brighter until you could see her from miles away. Suddenly, she stopped glowing. Thorn got up and ran circles around Twilight. She jumped into a tree and ate a blackbird. All this time, no one, including Twilight, moved a muscle except Thorn. They couldn't. Why? Because Thorn wasn't lying. She really did freeze time.

Chapter Three
Evil in Training 2

Thorn changed time back to normal. Twilight, having gained control of herself, gasped in amazement. Thorn smirked. "Now it's your turn," she said. Twilight nodded her head, eager to begin. First she closed her eyes and summoned all her energy. Not knowing what to do next, she waited. Soon both her front paws began to tingle. She opened her eyes and stared down at them. Soon they glowed purple. Thorn took a step back. "Now, you don't know what that can do," Thorn said warily. "Try it on that rabbit, over there." Twilight snuck up on the rabbit, then lunged at it, swatting it with her glowing purple paws. The rabbit squirmed under her, but Twilight gasped as the rabbit began to settle down, and soon... fell asleep? Twilight suddenly felt a powerful sensation crawling in her paws, through her arms, and all through her body. She finally understood. She was taking the rabbit's energy. Now, had she stayed there much longer, the rabbit would have died from energy loss. But Twilight jumped back, fightened by her own power. Thorn came over and smiled at her. Twilight, after getting over her shock, smiled too. She was starting to like this. Without being told, she got to work one next element. At first her paws glowed purple again, but she made them stop and tried again. Finally she felt her whole body tingle. She turned around and stared at her tail, which was... disappearing?! Twilight gasped and stared at her mother for help, who only gazed, but then smirked. Soon, Twilight whole body was gone. Twilight found herself in a place that was like where she had just been, but different. Everything was blurry and the colors wee faded. She walked over behind Thorn, who wasn't moving. Nothing was. Then Twilight closed her eyes and focused. She opened her eyes again to find everything normal, But thorn was yelping in surprise. Suddenly they both realized what Twilight had done. She had teleported herself. But what Twilight understood but Thorn had no idea of was that when Twilight was in that strange place, she was in another dimension in which time was frozen and therefore allowing her to go anywhere in no time, literaly. The only difference between Thorn when she freezed time was that no one else knew that time was frozen when Twilight did it. After getting over her shock, Thorn signaled Twilight to continue with the third. After a few moments of hard concentrating, Twilight raised her head into the air let out a blood-curdling shriek that gave Thorn and even Malefor, Spyro, Cynder, and Crescent chills, even they all were miles away. Soon the shriek died down and Twilight layed down, exhausted. It soon dawned on her that her eyes weere glowing purple. She also realized that there was something behind her. She whipped around to see a small serpent, probably just her height. The serpent id not move, but its eyes glowed purple just like Twilight's. Randomly, Twilight began to think about what would happen if the serpent caught a rabbit and brought it to her. Sure enough, at that very moment, the sepent slithered off, only to return with a rabbit in its jaws, then dropped the limp body at Twilight's feet. Twilight realized then that she was controlling the serpent. Twilight made her eyes stopped glowing, then ther serpent's, which looked around nervously and slithered off. "Animal control," Thorn said, pleased. "Nice. OK, you have one more, let's see what it is." Twilight nodded. She closed her eyes one more time. Suddenly, the ground began to shake a dark cluds filled the sky. Rain poured down as thunder and lgihtning clashed above. Thorn looked around nervously, shifting her paws. But Twilight didn't seen to notice. All of a sudden the ground opened up and lava began to seep out. Thorn gasped in horror, then quicly picked up Twilight by her neck, who yowled in frustration. Soon the clouds went away, the lava crawled back into the crack, which closed itself up. For some reason, the lava reminded Thorn terribly of the Destroyer.

Chapter Four
Theif

Later, Malefor, Thorn, and Twilight were thinking of a plan to take revenge on Spyro. The first part of their plan was to steal Cynder's crystal, as it held very special powers. That night, Thorn and Twilight crept up to Spyro's cave. Thorn gave Twilight a signal, who used her teleportation move. While twilight was in the void, she easily grabbed Cynder's crystal off her neck and fled back to Malefor's lair with Thorn right behind her.
