Do you think The Cronicler can fight?

I'm not sure. We don't know very much about him, but I assume he can fight a little. Seeing that he knows a lot about Spyro and life of other dragons pretty well, he could've learned some techniques from them and used them for his own advantage. (Without altering history, of course.)

-Side Note: When I played this game, and I got to the Chronicler, my younger pestimistic brother said he looked more like a dog than a dragon!!!!

who is the Chronicler

A character from The legend of Spyro. The eternal night. He is a big grey and black dragon who helps you in the game.

Maybe he has some powers that can make the cape fly on him by itself.

Just out of curiosity, does the Chronicler have an actual name or is he only known by his title. His name isn't mentioned in the game as far as I know (I've finished it 2 1/2 times).

P.S. If the game doesn't have his name, what do you guys think it is?

I've always liked the name Nadiv (pronounced Nah-deve, I believe).
It means 'noble one' I think (checks name dictionary next to keyboard)

that sounds much better, i just chose a name from my book.

He could be called Jimbob Bowie for all we know.

Maybe Saadya (Sah-d-yah), means he who helps god. I didn't pick it for its meaning, I thought it sounded cool.

I think he have the fire element. Or maybe even Convexity breath!

I think that time is his "element" so to speak.

Now I don't think knowledge is an element and I believe telepathy & telekenisis as well as time manipulation are abilities more than elements.
Actually manipulation of the elements is an ability but not every ability is elemental. So confusing but makes so musch sense.

I just got the game yesterday, and I didn't see the Chronicler yet, I've only heard his voice. But i'll be sure to look out for any dog-like characteristics when I get to him. ;P

And I'm sure he can fight, since he knows so much about Spyro's abilities and stuff, I'm sure he can fight. He can't be that weak, right?

Is the Chronicler one of the Ancestors?

I get the feeling that the Chronicler can fight, but not much. Ignitus doesn't fight much and he's not even a fraction of the Chronicler's age. Also, if the old guy did have a name, I think even he's forgotten what it is. A thousand plus years is a long time, even for a dragon.

I doubt any one could ever forget their name, especially if its probably written down all around you.

No. Not in my game. But I have seen a video with him on YouTube, that Crash pro had made. It one with the cutscene where you see him. It is so funny when Sparx says: RIDDLES OF DOOM!!!
