Chapter one

Szarotka lay down in the short grass, sweat on her pure white scaled forehead. The bright sun shone on her head in the azure morning sky. She took a deep sigh of boredom. Gamith and Enern had gone off to get some food, meaning she was just stuck in the lands of Avalar. With Ebony.
"What's wrong? Sun too hard for your scales?" Laughed Ebony in her manner. She was fiddling with a piece of grass with her long and scary black claw.
"No, I'm just bored," Replied Szarotka
"Your always bored," Groaned Ebony rolling her piercing amber eyes. Szarotka took alert.
"No I am not!" Protested Szarotka. Ebony glared. Szarotka didn't take notice, she turned her eyes in a uncomfortable way.
"Don't start that again," Hissed Ebony turning away. Szarotka thought about Enern and Gamith. They would be back soon. For sure.

Chapter two

That was hours ago. Szarotka was still waiting for Enern and Gamith now.
"Where are they?" Asked Szarotka, looking down on the grass.
"I don't know! Where are you?" Snapped Ebony, she was still fiddling with the grass.
"I'm here," Said Szarotka confused.
"No! You moron! Hello?" Ebony hissed, she knocked on Szarotka's head.
"Don't do that," Hissed Szarotka, ready to pounce
"Don't start it again! I said!" Growled Ebony, who was also ready to pounce. Szarotka leaped up towards Ebony, suddenly a bridge of ice followed after her. Szarotka stopped making a crash landing, not noticing the ice.
"What in name of Gamiths and Szarotkas is that?" Yelled Ebony. Szarotka looked up.

Chapter three

"We should inform Grenfel," Muttered Szarotka, her teeth like white daggers. Ebony looked on down her as if she was a puny grape. Ebony then opened her hard scaled jaw, revealing her set of acute and pointy teeth. Teeth like small swords, each set neatly in her jaw.
"Grenfel can't explain that, but I can," Ebony hissed. She grinned like a child with a new toy. Szarotka frowned as she forced a quick smile.
"You are a little freak," Added Ebony. Szarotka glared into the grass, ashamed. All was silent. Departing the soft breeze and the faint singing of the trees.
