I played the first one on a Pizza Hut demo. I remember in the demo of StD, Nestor talked so fast and Spyro wasn't rude in his tone of voice like he is in the orginal game.

"What about Gnasty Gnorc?! I'm going after him!"

He just says in a worried-ish tone in demo:

"But what about Gnasty Gnorc?"

And Thomas/Glidas-

"Hey Spyro! Press X twice to glide...and don't be afraid.."

"Of afraid? Of what..?"

And then Spyro says in a whispery tone:

"Oh...That..."

And he doesn't spat out "Oh, that!"

In the real game, Nestor talks slowly, as Spyro kinda... spats out rude remarks. At least I think so.. lol.


Any demo differences to the game that you'd like to post?

In the Crash Bandicoot Demo, you know Argus, the dragon you free infront of the Toasty portal? Well, he wasn't even there in the demo

Oh yeah! And there wasn't even a portal in the tower, Town Square? There wasn't any music either... T.T Also, there was Sunny Flight portal, but it was just cold stone.

And also you entered Town Square through the Stone Hill portal

Oh yeah! I almost forgot about that.

I have the demo and it has Sunny Flight and music.

for crash bandicoot 1 how do you get the spyro demo

For the Spyro demo on Crash Bandicoot 3, get to the start screen and press up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, square.

There can't be a Spyro demo on Crash 1, is there? I mean Spyro 1 was being made when Crash 3 was released.

i checked online for the code(i cant remember it) and it didnt work.

The dragon in front of the town square portal is named Silvus.

'Tis the truth. Crash Bandicoot is a 1995 game, right? Or is it 1996? Either way, it was made way before StD. Didn't the PS1 come out in 1995?

There must be different demos or something. I have a demo from a PS1 sample disc (also was my first exposure to Spyro). There were some notable differences, like the music for the homeworld sounded different. You couldn't access Jacques, and the Town Square portal didn't exist.

What about that last gem in the level hovering in the whirlwind vortex thing to take you home????

Which level? Also, I probably wouldn't remember lol.

The game disc that had the demo also included the interview with Stewart Copeland; that's where I got my musical inspiration.

Oh yeah, if you tried to hop on the balloon to the next world, the balloon guy will tell you that you could visit more places when you get the real game. And stepping on the stones near the waterfall didn't activate the sunny flight portal either. That's about it I think.

That's weird...I don't recall seeing a gem floating about anywhere in the demo.

Well maybe it was an older demo of something. I don't know. I (unfortunatly) don't own any demo versions of these games. So I can't really explain this oddity appearing in the demo very well to you guys.
