I found him really easy, I used Cynder's poison breath and it depleted his health fast. I hear Spyro's electric orb attack is really useful too.

When you hit him, you can get some of your health and mana replenished so you don't have to worry about those going away.
I wanted to know everyone else's opinion.

I found him too easy. All you had to use was fear when Cynder and electricity as Spyro. Second round was even more easy. You could just fly behind him, hit him, not to mention his attacks was very easy to dodge.

I know people are going to laugh at me, but I think he was too hard.... D:

well the first time i fought him he was easy and i did not die once but after i played it a few more times it seemed harder plus never fight him on 2 player its too hard

That's what I heard, that he's way harder if you play with someone else. It's probably harder if you don't have your breaths fully upgraded too.

Let's just say I used the infinite health cheat...

But I imagine it'd be a pretty good fight without it. But it was a lousy ending. Not much character development.

I found him quite easy but I was on two player so it was easier. I'd probably find it hard on my own.

I just used fire in the first round. All the other i just use the ice tornado....i wanted to give him a taste of his own ice. YEs he was easy but hard in 2 player

Oh, so that is how you beat him! I was just flying around him and hitting him. And I can't seem to move out the way when he does that purple breath. >.<

You should try flying up really close to him and just hitting him with elemental attacks. He will swipe at you but since he gives off mana and health, you should be fine.

yeah i just hit him with everything i had, inc fury breath when i got all the armour, he was ok. not hard but not too easy. other parts of the game are harder...
i was ill and as i had completed the game six times already and i used cheats and hes all over in about three mins!

i found gaul the hardest end boss out of the LOS infact i found all of TNB hardest out of LOS, especially the tree thing whose name i forget but on ANB the fire dojo was anoying, knocking the dummies into each other, infuriating!

but yeah, get close and give him everything you've got! if you run out just stay behind him.

Even Pac man is harder than defeating Malefore. :/

That's so true x____x With Cynder's poison breath it was far too easy.

I found the first round hard but the rest were easy

I found the very first battle against your rival in any Pokémon game (where you can only use Tackle) to be harder than Malefor. *pan'd for bad joke*

EASY but HARD when you play 2 player

He killed me the ferst time but I was low on healt when the fight started but after that with full health he was easy

Way too easy. Except on 2 players,my friend was just flying around and do nothing.

He always get hit,he died more than 10 times. xD And I never fly around,I immediately fly over to him and use Ice on him.

I only hate fireballs in the first part,other is not such a big deal.

Definitely harder on 2-player bc on single-player he only targets the dragon you're using. I don't like that at least half of his attacks are instant death, but once you figure out the pattern you can dodge most of them. Used Poison to attack and Shadow to defend with Cynder, and my bro played Spyro and used everything but Earth. Fury's nice if you have it, and required for stage 3, but the armor is by no means necessary since his aura builds your Fury gauge and until then normal attacks work. In all, a little less than I had was expecting, but still a fun fight. And it seems like a lot of people disagree, but I think that the ending was perfect: it said that "this story is over" without decidedly ending the series. Although I file Cynder's last line under "In case you haven't been paying attention..."
