A New Beginning. The Eternal Night comes second, and DotD comes last.

1. A New Beginning (Love the gameplay and characters and how you return to the temple to do the training instead of doing it in the middle of nowhere)

2. The Eternal Night (Still fun to play, and Dragon Time and Earth Breath are great, but it's a bit too serious at this point in the story in my opinion)

3. Dawn Of The Dragon (The only thing I really like is the breaths. The controls are weird, the characters are annoying and the plot is waaaaaay too serious... good graphics tho')

Dawn of the Dragon comes first by miles. Loved everything bout it.

ETERNAL is pwnge. I love the electricity attacks in that one. Mint as.

A new Beginning comes close after, great stroyline, probably the best i reckon. The Destroyer was awsum, but the whole crystals and portal thing ruled.

They were all to repitive and to glithy but still good games.

DOTD is my fourth fave Spyro game. ANB comes just after ETD, which is pretty low on the list, and TEN is right on the bottom.

ANb it was the first one i played and its proboly better than dotd its graphics arnt suposed to look good in anb but thety look great yet in dotd they try to make it look good but it isent...........

Was it the gameplay you didn't like too? Because that's the main reason I didn't like it. It was just way too repetitive and tedious. I didn't have much fun with it. I played it for the story though.

Yep that's it. It is very repeative and boring. The reason why I hate it more then ANB is because to me, it has more combat in it, it is harder, is even more dramatic and the levels are more darker and I can't see were I'm going in some places. And I don't like the fact that it is like playing another ANB. The only thing I like about it is the fight with Gaul. I found it fun in the second round. Like you, I was only playing it for the story. ANB's storyline was a bit cliche. The bit when the main character finds out he is 'special' even though he looks weak has been use many times. But that part off a storyline always makes the game interesting for some reason, and ANB was a little bit more light hearted. And then there is Cynder.... The best evil dragoness I've ever seen.... Those are the reasons why I like ANB more.
