Everybody who's played DOTD will know about the bit that makes everyone cry at the end. When Cynder finally admits her love for Spyro, sayin: "I love you". I was just wandering, so what did you think became of Spyro and Cynder's relationship? Where did Cynder go? Did you think Spyro and Cynder works perfectly?

I think they do. To be honest, I find the DS version end more touching.



I remember how I was taking a back, in a good way, when I heard it first time on DS. I found it very sweet, but I didn't cry.

I bet they were very proud of eachother and were in love and BFF and vowed to protect eachother etc.

I thought the ending was cute. Though I'm not sure if they returned to the temple..

Well, actually I gotta admit, I didnt cry. But it made a smile spread across ma face, I thort it was cute.

I rolled my eyes. Cliché and boring. You could see it coming from A New Beginning. Cynder became one big annoyance from the minute she shrunk down.

Yeah... It would have also been a better excuse for why people think that Cynder died with Spyro... In the console version Cynder could have survived...

I didn't like it when she said it. I'm not really a SpyroxCynder fan. I didn't want Spyro to pair up with anyone at all. But if he HAD to pair up with someone, then I would say Elora.

I thought it was beautiful. And yes, it is an "if you haven't been paying attention" moment, but it makes the scene work. Think about it like this: Cynder really does love Spyro, they're both about to die, she has to tell him before it's too late.
Cliched, yes; stupid/bad, not at all.
Granted, the orginal Spyro series was not about romance, and even considered it a joke *cough*Ember*cough*, but the love between Spyro and Cynder is a big part of the story. Let's not forget that the reason Spyro went to face Gaul in TEN was to rescue Cynder.
And the ending of DotD was perfect: this chapter is over, the world has been saved, Spyro and Cynder are together, but there's room for new stories and adventures.
