So what do you think of sparks perants

They were generic and a little annoying, like pretty much everything else, but their designs were cool (though Flash's face gave me the creeps). They really needed to come back in DotD, but since they didn't, it seems likely that they died while Sparx was trapped in crystal.

Well, I don't think they died. They're probably hiding someplace safe during the 3 years of Spyro and Sparx's hibernation, and if it would've been nice, if they added a scene where Spyro and Sparx are reunited with them in DotD.

From what I could tell, the Burned Lands are where the swamp that Flash and Nina lived in used to be.

Yeah, but the Swamp wasn't near the Volcano.

the volcano wasnt there in the other two games though. i think malefor made the volcano.

I hope they didn't die I think they're hiding somewhere.

Malefor's floating islands are what's left of the Temple. He raised them over the land and destroyed the area around the Temple (what used to be the Swamp).

Flash and Nina probably fled before Malefor took control of the temple, but we won't know until probably the next game, Mike makes them appear.
