hey dudes i was playing dotd and had completed it (for the fith time)
and after the credits i watched that cutscene with the chronicler and ignitus and every time i watch it im like omg! ignitus! not only does he look different but now hes the new chronicler!...i just want to know what you guys think about him being the chronicler.

i think its good. but i saw his death in burned lands coming, the character always closest to the hero always dies, even though i never wanted it to happen.

We all already know this...

yeah it was sad when he died...this is embarrasing but i nearly cried

I waited to the end of the credits because I know a surprise is there.

so did i until i knew you were able to skip the credits and see the ending scene LOL but i loved the credits song too much.

I think it's great that Ignitus is the new Chronicler but.... Who would be the new fire guardian? That's the real question..

I think the next Fire guardian is Spyro.

Ignitus clearly said "Pay attention, and you may be someday too" at the tail end of the cutscene.

hmmm mabey..... and if the chronicler was still the original colour as in TEN then so would iggy.. meaning he would look different!! but mabey there wont be another fire guardian till later??

I think that shode have been the end of ignitus but why did he come back as the new chronicler that is my question it shode have been the end him but it just a game to me

well.....only a worthy dragon gets the place as the next chroniclor as the chroniclor said so at the end. ignitus was proved this when he sacrificed his life for spyro and cynder, and convinced spyro to use his power to bring the world back together. thats what most people believe anyway

he already was dead as ignitus is but his spirit and form were imprisiond in that cave place to keep record and watch over the dragon world until a new chroniclor was found who was pure of hear t like ignitus so when u thought he died the chronicolors spirit was set free

I was suprised to see Iggy come back as the Chronicler; It was pretty cool, but yeah he should be dead.

Ignitus fits the role perfectly. a shadow came over my heart when I saw him die... It was sooo sad. About the new Fire gaurdian. His son became the Fire gaurdian.

If Ignitus does have a son/daughter they should be the new fire guardian. That would be nice.

Makes you wonder what colour the Chronicler was before he became the Chronicler.

Some think that the Chronicler was an Earth dragon. The image is shown when Hunter is talking to Spyro about the Dragon City.

He could still be a guardian, I think. Fire is his primary element, and appears to be his strongest. Surely you can still become a guardian even if you're a purple dragon, as long as you have knowledge of and experience with the elements you wield. Besides, Ignitus said Spyro 'might be [a guardian] someday too' in ANB.

But Spyro has all the elements, so he could be fx ice uardian instead of fire guardian. He could be a guardian for all the elements. And I think he's high skilled in all of his elements.

True, but I think if he was going to become any guardian it would be fire, because he's traditionally used fire. It's something the game designers would take into account.
