Yes, I´m making another story. I know this will mean I will have a total of four stories, but at the moment, I´m still thinking for the next parts of the other. This will also have a link to one of my other characters I´m using in different games. You also will find a link to my name. Some of you maybe know Eternity. You know he who creates dark powers from light? Well, let´s just say this is something like that.
--------------------------------
This topic will now be used for a story taking place after Balancing Doom. Read more about it in the last post for Balancing Doom.

Chapter one
Ashes of hatred It was a stormy night. (Yeah, I know it´s overused, but I didn´t have so many other options.) A red dragon sat on the top of a mountain. He looked out over the land. He couldn´t see much with his eyes. Not that it bothered him. It was a long time since he used his eyes to see anything. But it was different with his mind. It sailed over the ground, feeling what was there, immediatly telling him. Everything was just like normal. Not far away, there was a village. No-one was outside in this rain. But it didn´t matter to them. They were inside, happy. He could feel their happiness, their sense of safety. Most other dragons would have dreams about that. There were some dragons in this village to. Two or three new-hatched. They lived with the villagers. They were happy, because they had lost everything, but had then found others to take care for them. He hated it. Not that they had joined the villagers. It was not the villagers who were responsible for the deaths. But what he hated them for was that they had found someone. The only one he had died very soon after he had hatched. And his mom had died before he even hatched. That was why he hated those two or three young dragons. Because they had others. He let his mind return to his body. Now it was time. It was time for him to get his revenge. He flew towards the village. There would be no warning. But he wouldn´t make it a complete murderer. The young dragons would be spared. Together with one of the villagers each that they choosed. He didn´t want others to suffer completely as he had. As for the villagers, they were just unlucky when someone choosed this place as the location of the village. It was the completely wrong place for anyone to live at. At least, it was the wrong place if they wanted to be left in peace.

The red dragon landed outside the village. The only sound was that from the rain. He slowly and carefully walked to the middle. Then he paused for a second. Nothing happened. He smiled. Then he laid his head down on the ground. He closed his eyes. A minute went past. Then he opened them. He lifted his head up with a roar. He waited for three seconds, then he could hear all kinds of sounds from the houses. He smiled.
He looked at the forest where they had been earlier. They had given him a look. He could see in their eyes that they thanked him for sparing their lives. Then they had left, all six of them. He looked back to the villagers that stood before him. He choosed one of them. He walked up the one he had choosen. EF: I am Ember Fireblade. You do not know why I am here, but you all will know soon enough. Go now! Go and tell your masters that I´m coming! Go and tell them that the world will be reshaped by fire, that the very ground they stand on will betray them! Now go! He didn´t have to repeat it. He smiled to himself. Soon, everything would fall into chaos. And that was when he would strike. He looked at the rest of the villagers. He had no use for them. He flew away. But before he left, he shot a ball of flame on the grain magazine. As he looked back, he saw it explode. (Yeah, I´ve read somewhere that a grain magazine can explode if it´s burning.) (( Ok, first of all, the name Ember Fireblade has nothing to do with Ember from AHT. I´ve started with Fireblade on a big mmorpg. It´s a book my character there is writing. This is basicly book two. However, I won´t post the first book on here when it´s done. I´ll see if I post it at all. Second, I admit that I got a little of what he said from Cataclysm. I´m sure I´ve forgotten something now, but I still post this. ))

Fireblade was at the top of the same mountain again. He liked this place. This was where it all started. Where his whole life got ruined. He still remembered it.
It was a sunny day. But that wasn´t seen inside the cave. The only thing that was seen inside it were the crystal that howered in the air. And a large, red female dragon that did something with it. She stopped and looked at the cave entrance. Then she smiled. A golden dragon stood there. Then she got worried as she saw that he was wounded. He carefully walked inside. Then he laid down to rest. They looked at each other. The red dragon nodded her head against the crystal. The golden dragon looked at it, and then smiled at her. It was working. That was when they heard the sound outside. They had completed the crystal at the rigth moment. The golden dragon took the egg and flew away. The red dragon walked outside to delay whatever it was that had arrived. She still would be unnable to flee with her wings full of holes... That was the first and last thing he had seen of his mother. His father had died long before that. And it all happened at this mountain. He still hadn´t found the cave where it was. But he kept looking. He knew that if he could just find it, then he could find the whole crystal. As it was now, he only had a small fragment of it. He was sure that if he had the whole crystal, he could see a lot more. And that was why he had made sure that no-one else was around. Now, he could look for it without getting disturbed.

Fireblade hit the ground hard. Big pieces of rock flew off the mountain. He was angry. Four days he had searched, and he had searched everywhere. But he found nothing. Nothing at all that could help him. Then he heard something. It was very weak, but he could still hear it. He looked around. In the distance, he saw a cloud of dust. It was not natural in these parts. As far as he knew, only one thing would make a cloud of dust appear here. Many moving things. He smiled. It appeared that he had choosen the right one to deliver his message. He took to the sky. Why care if they saw him? That was, after all, his greatest advantage in the battles. That it started as fast as possible. With a roar that shaked the ground, he dove right into the cloud so fast that he arrived at the army before his roar. Then he crashed down onto the ground. He immediatly raised up again. The soldiers looked at him. With a smile, he lifted his right paw. Hanging from one of his claws was the non-moving body of the commander. He allowed them to look at it in fear for three seconds, then he attacked. Only two survived the battle. One of them was a red dragon. The other one was a soldier which had been spared with a claw touching his neck. Fireblade looked down at the soldier.
EF: You see now what I can do? You have no chance of defeating me... You will all pay for what you did... You remember the saying? Irritating a hatchling will make double pay double. Well, let´s just say you should have thought of that earlier. Then he flew away. As always, it had gone as calculated. One survivor. For every battle. That way, the others would know about him. And that, was his ultimate goal. That when this all was over, the two words Ember Fireblade would make even the bravest of hearts cover in fear.

It was a forest. Birds could be heard in every direction. A large red female dragon was sitting on a large stone. A just as large green female dragon sat at her side. They were talknig about soemthing. Then the green dragon moved one of her claws a little. When she lifted it, that part of the stone had been turned into an emerald. Then they looked at each other and smiled. Then the green dragon flew away. The red dragon looked at the emeralded stone. Then she smiled again. She cut out a small piece of it and then flew away. Suddenly, the forest became silent. Every sound in there stopped. One moment later, the stone shattered. Where it once had been, there now was a hole. And something in that hole moved.
(( Emeralded, it may be a word, it may not be, but I didn´t have anything else, so don´t complain please. ))

The world returned with a giant flash. Fireblade looked around. That was different from the other crystal. Perhaps they hadn´t been meant to be as one, perhaps they had been meant to shatter. At least now he had a clue about someone that might have known his mother. It might just be a dead end, but it was worth a try anyway. He looked up at the sky, and then flew off. He didn´t know what had been in that hole. And he didn´t think so much about it. All he knew was that he had come one step closer to finding out why his mome had died. And he also knew that once he had found out who the real killer was, he would make them suffer, slowly.

Fireblade looked at the female dragon standing before him. She was black. With a weak hint of red. Sometimes, black flames danced over her scales. Their eyes had been locked for a minute before she broke the silence.
SFTD: Ember Fireblade... I´ve heard so much about you... EF: I guess everyone have... But why have you come to me? SFTD: To join you... I know what you want... And after I´ve helped you, will you then help me? EF: Yes. That I will. And by the way, you can call me Emberlore. Their eyes locked again. EF: But I didn´t really get your name? He could see her eyes suddenly beam with evil happiness. SFTD: I am Shadowfang... Shadowfang the Dark! ----------------------------------------------- Yeah, I know that was a short part, but I just had to get it down. Yes, you saw right. Shadowfang is in her dark form!

Fireblade stopped his wings. He fell. But just before he hit the ground, it opened up below him. He fell through the ground. When he had lost count of time, he flew up again. The ground clsoed behind him. When he reached the same height he had started on, he started to glide. He was still thinking about yesterday. When the dragoness had revelaed her name. He actually found it hard to believe. He had heard a lot about Sahdowfang. He was wondering if perhaps there was other things she had done that no-one knew about. He knew of one such thing. She had said that she would tell him what it was this evening. Of course, he would have to earn it however. And he knew exactly how he would. He smiled. Not only would he get to know her better, but he would also get to see an enjoyable sight. For him it would be, but maybe not for the poor creature that would be part of that show. He even might learn something from it. He knew that Shadowang was a dragon of the Double Moon. And he knew that those were experts on pain. He saw something move on the ground. Faster than lightning, he dove down. He crashed right into it. When he looked, he saw it was a small deer. It was still alive, but paralyzed from the shock. He smiled.
EF: I have good news, and bad news for you. The good news is that you will become a star... The bad news, however, is that it will be the last thing you ever do. Then he flew towards a nearby mountain. It was there that they had agreed to meet. Then one thought struck him. About what it was that she would tell him. He smiled. All the hints where clear. This day, he would be the first one to know how she had given in to her rage and allowed darkness to permamently enter her.

If you want to read more in just this story, then I will continue it here: www.clawofshadow.webs.com. I think you can find it by yourself from there. After all, you do need to know that some things won´t just be served on a diamond. However, in here I will start another story that takes place some time later.

It was dark. But not because it was night, not because something created a shade. It was dark, because it was always dark. No-one that was not of old age had seen the light. And all the darkness came from a giant tower. Dark clouds swirled around it. Thunder struck the tower from time to time. And above it, the sky was aflame. On the ground, the tower was surrounded by black water. Only a fool would try to destroy it. There had been many fools since it was created. Their remains now created a sharp barrier, making it even harder to reach the tower. That was, of course, unless you were allowed to. And only three were allowed into it. Two of them were dead. Their bodies now stood in the bottom of the tower, surrounded by crystals to protect them. And in the top of the dark tower, there was a throne. A throne made of flames and shadows. And on it, sat a black and red dragon. Black flames danced over his scales, while a blood-red glow could be seen through a very small gap over his eyes. His eyes were closed. He looked like he was asleep, but he was not. Then his eyes suddenly opened. He smiled. Then he said two words. Two words that were so small, yet of so great meaning.
ZC: Hello mom... Shadowfang awoke with a shock. She looked around. Outside, it was stormy. She could hear the wind blow. It was like as if it was trying to break down the world. Then her eyes stopped on the shadow figure at her side. For a second, she tried to collect her thoughts. Then she remembered who he was. His name was Ember Fireblade. She thought of the dream again. It had been a long time since she dreamed. But she knew that this was just as important as the other times. It was not the first time she dreamt of the future. She thought of what the dragon had said before she woke up. SFTD: "Hello mom..." She laid down again. A smile played on her face. She did not know how long in the future it was, but she knew that she would at least leave something that would change the whole world after her. And that was enough for the moment. She closed her eyes and then fell back to sleep.

It was a sunny day. Shadowfang could hear the birds sing. Once, she would have thought it beatiful. Now, she just thought of it as a sign that no greater danger was near. She smiled. Three days had passed since her last dream. It had been a very long time since she had seen the future. Now she knew why. It had just recently been anchored. Now, it was clear what the future would be. She looked up in the sky. Above, a red and black bird flew. Normally, that sign would make her run for somewhere to hide. But not now. Now, she had found out a greater power inside her. Only by walking purely in shadows had she been able to see it. She smiled. She had looked forward for a real test of these new powers. This bird would be the ultimate challenge. She roared, and then flew up. The bird looked at her, then screeched. Normally, this bird would be able to make even adult dragons paralyzed with fear. But Shadowfang had a surprise for it. Still smiling, she got surrounded by a shadowy orb. Then she roared again. The orb shattered, sending orbs of shadow in every direction. Then her eyes glowed red. She flew towards the bird at full speed. When they collided, she unleashed her powers. Thousands of small orbs, half of them red, half of them black, appeared around her. Then they all went through the bird. When each of the orbs had hit the bird at least once, they disappeared. The bird fell to the ground. It did not rise. Shadowfang smiled.
SFTD: Yes... This is what it means... To have true powers... Blood and Shadows flow through me... And now... They want to be unleashed! And soon, flames and shadows will combine, and this world will fall! Then she flew back home.
