Skylanders Spyro does NOT look like Spyro. Or Classic Spyro. No form of Spyro.
Skylanders isn't based just on Spyro. It's just a game that INCLUDES Spyro.

Does it really matter to you if Spyro looks different?? It doesn't matter. Actually, if you pay at least a small bit of attention to the Skylanders trailer, you will notice it's very different from the Classics.

I did, and all you see is a couple of enemies being killed, and maybe a turtle or two being pushed. It's nothing like the Classics. How do you expect it to be when it has a fixed camera the whole time?

Even though a Spyro game that is like the Classics is being made, some fans are still complaining, mostly because Spyro doesn't look like Spyro to them..

I'm complaining because the gameplay looks generic, and it's a rip-off. The fact that it's not like the Classics is not a problem, but Activision saying that is would be false claim.

Ok, now hold on.
I am not a fan who only cares about Spyro's look. Ok, in a way, I guess I do, but not only. I'm just upset how ACTIVISION, just made him look not even like Spyro. But this game JUST INCLUDES Spyro. I'm not a Skylanders fan, BUT that is just my opinion. You others may think Skylanders is awesome, and I'm ok with that.
I love Classic Spyro, and that is MY opinion. He started it all, and the whole game is just awesome. It's easy, fast and just fun to play. It nevers gets old. And I like Classic Spyro more as I have the games to keep and I don't have any of the LoS games, even though I have a PS2. I'm just borrowing them from my friends.
And I don't know why Universal handed Spyro AND Crash over to Sierra, but kept Rachet and Clank? What was the point of that? Why couldn't they keep making Spyro? Was it because the PS1 was getting old? I still have one.

So, Aura24, this is just MY opinion. You don't have to keep pointing things out to people who disagree or have a different opinion to you.

I know it's your opinion and all, but not every character design of Spyro created by the artists of the game developer who makes a Spyro game doesn't have to look the way you want him to look.

I know. But they don't have to change him so he looks like...what he looks like. I'm not saying he looks bad. I've seen pictures of him looking worse in Skylanders form on deviantART.

Aura is the annoying wanna-be mod of the site. She tries to point out how people are wrong in the most annoyingly calm manor, ask people why they want things like concept art and warn BEFORE EVEN LEARNING why they want it that they cannot claim it as their own, continuing pointing things out instead of shutting up and nodding her head in acceptance, ect ect.

Really. You mini-mod EVERYTHING. I'm the idiot who's actually been saving money and contemplating trying to buy the site, but even I can keep myself quiet about things. Except for Stuff and Nonsense, though, you have to stick your head in everything and try playing the mother of a dozen angry little boys who calms every single discussion.

Basically what you're saying is that this isn't a Spyro game, and therefore Dark shouldn't be giving coverage on it.

For one thing, have you ever took the time to think that the gameplay is like Classic Spyro? Or the mechanics? Not everything is ****ing character design.

Ok, let's see here. I'm going to play the middle man in everything.

1. I'm pretty sure some other people are here trying to save money and buy the site. Hell, if I had money, I would help as well, and see if we could get a donation pool going.

2. She mini-mods everything. Maybe it's because she cares about the site just as much as you and I, and wants it to be in order. *shrug*

3. I never really wondered why she never posted in Stuff and Nonsense.

4. She sticks her head into everything except Stuff and Nonsense. I stick my head into everything, including Stuff and Nonsense. But yet you listen to what I have to say, and you claim I'm one of the few people that you actually care about when it comes to opinions. What exactly makes Aura so much more different from me?

And this is something I've always wondered about: When you look at Aura, she's always serious, barely laughs, and never really jokes around. I do joke around at times, and laugh at certain jokes. And yet I'm the one that gets **** for being "so serious" and being the King of it. How exactly does that work? smilie
