I liked the Hermit for that very reason. smilie He was the best thing about DotD. Wait...he was the only halfway good thing about it.

It all depends on how you look at it. I thought all of DotD was pretty pointless and the Hermit's scene was pretty much the only instance of possible character development in the \whole thing, but that's just me.

Kane was so much cooler than LoS Hunter. I wish they would have brought the Atlawa back; it would have made a lot more sense.

And the Hermit forcing Cynder to actually show any emotion at all in DotD was a good thing. She's like cardboard in that whole game. If she were half the character she'd been in ANB/TEN she would've kicked his butt instead of being an emo princess about it.
