just like the title oh no after the legend of spyro: number 3 their might not be anymore spyro games

I've been thinking about that. Where would Sierra be able to go with Spyro after they complete this trilogy? They could always go back to the original series. <.<

Actually, considering that the new serie has had a relative success (despite being bashed left and right by reviewers and nostalgia-blinded "fans", I think the games still sold well)... I think the serie won't end.

Once the Legend of Spyro storyline will be done, they'll either start a new one or send Spyro into new, unrelated adventures.

Although the story themes might change, I sincerely doubt they're bringing back the "old Spyro" ; the new adventures will probably use the current version of Spyro personality-wise and background-wise.

So, well, as long as the Legend of Spyro manage to sell relatively well (and last I know, I believe it does ; not sure), the serie will continue.

i really hope they come back

Um, Sierra could have Cynder and Spyro become an adult couple and have a baby. That could be a way to continue the series. And they could think of a whole new prophecy (cliche but whatever) for the baby! (Female dragonet I hope - if this happens).

yeah like now their baby is supposed to save the world!! But it wouldn't be a prophecy, it would be her taking over the family bussiness

My theory: spyro and cynder have a child, and he flies away because he's purple and he heard the gaurdiand talking about how he could become evil. He flies away to a land of bippedial, low-graphic dragons, gnorcs and sheep...anyone see where i'm going???
Anywho, this doesn't have to happen and it probably won't...
ANYWAYS...I think spyro will continue on as a TV series or a movie or something. The cartoon on the TEN website looks like a promising start.
WHY SPYRO WILL BE ON NICKELODEON: Because nick is alrady doing some mini-series thingies with neopets, and KROME officially owns neopets. Since spyro is a trademark of Krome, he might be one too. The neopets mini-sodes (as they're called) stared out on their website, and the Spyro cartoons are on HIS website, so...it could happen!
Again these are all theories.

Yeah on the GBA version. onps2, they make no mention of that at all!!

but hey, if you go over to the sierra forums, there are lots of fans ready to buy all of the publishing rights and make their own games.

NOOOOOO!!!! this can't be!!! why can't they do what they do with STD series. after the LOS trilogy stops, another compony make another game with it. But i like RWD's idea. Maybe my Destiny of Silamane story could be the next thing. After all in the story she is Spyro's cousine.

I remember back when ANB was being developed, a Slice Gaming article mentioned something like 'multi title story arcs'. So the LOS series could just be the start. I can see it know, 'Come play the sensation thats sweeping the nation! SPYRO!' What I mean is big, like bigger than Mario big!

And yes, i think that Spyro will also be bigger than Mario. Now that ppl are seeing some quality games unlike *cough*ETD*cough* they are more accepting of the little purple dragon

Because I only like 5 of the games from the original continuity. The PSX games, and Season of Ice/Flame. The others were too mehish. I'm actually liking TLoS more right now. ;>.>
