Chapter 1 Hatching

The purple dragon laid in his house.
He didn't understand why it was so dark, he wondered what the world was like outside. Or maybe this was the world, just a black space.
The Purple dragon suddenly heard a slight movement.
"When do you think it will hatch?" said a voice.
Who? wondered the Hatchling.
Suddenly, he fell back against the wall as his home began to move around.
Outside Spyro was holding the egg and moving it around.
"It seems like it is a boy. I'm not sure when it will hatch, Cynder." said Spyro.
Cinder? Who's Cinder? wondered the Hatchling.
Spyro put the egg back down and the baby dragon stopped going topsyturvy.
The Hatchling fell to the floor.
Cynder then looked at the egg to see if there was a crack.
Nothing.
The purple dragon laid down and suddenly broke the egg accidently with his horns.
The purple dragon saw a stone floor through the crack.
"Spyro, it's hatching!" cried Cynder.
Spyro looked through the crack with his eye.
The purple dragon squeaked and went to the other side of the hole, away from the huge eye.
He made another crack with his horns, now Cynder's eye was looking in.
"Come on, come out. We won't hert you." said Cynder.
The baby dragon didn't want to come out, he liked his home. His home was the safest place in the world.
The baby dragon backed up into the wall he hadn't broken, but he broke it too.
He went to the other wall and also broke it.
The Hatchling squeaked as his home fell apart like a old building being destroyed by contruction workers.
He could see the bodies the eyes belonged to, a big purple beast, and a big black beast.
"We'll name him Cruso." said Cynder.
Cruso looked at the 2 beasts and squeaked as the black one picked him up.
Cruso bit Cynder with his teeth.
Cynder screached and put Cruso back down, but then curled around him in the nest.
Spyro curled around him too.
Cruso squeaked, but then he got something in his tiny eyes.
It hert them, it made them water.
Cruso squeaked and then closed his eyes and descided to quit fighting the dragons.
He fell asleep.

Hm, well now, that was certainly different from what you would expect, eh? He was actually scared of his parents...

It is good. But there is one thing I don't get. A purple dragon is born once every ten generations. Not every one generation.....

Well you see, Dragons can live for so long to be able to have a purple dragon as their child.
