Hey guys, I just thought I'd start posting the stages of my Spyro 3D model that I'm in the middle of making on Blender.

Firstly, this is how my model looked yesterday




And this is how he looks just after I edited him today. You can see that I added his claws on and that I decided to give him a toon shaded look. I've still to add the spikes on his back and tail, his wings and chest plates but the main body shape is complete.



I'll keep you update on my progress

Well, there's some really good tutorials on the blender.org site that I learned a lot from (At the bottom of the homepage, there's a bit with a lot of hyperlinks and there's a tutorials link there you can follow). Also here's a link to a very good set of tutorial called Blender: Noob to Pro http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro that I used quite a bit too. Also this the the Blender Artists forums http://blenderartists.org/forum where you can ask other Blender users questions and they will either help you or give you links to threads and maybe other tutorials if they can. I'm called Pyro girl same as here on there

And I didn't understand you question, could you rephrase that?

Oh. I'm going for the original Spyro design (I'm somewhat of a nostalgic Spyro fan) with some of my own little tweaks here and there

I used to have Z Brush,too complicated.And nice Spyro

Ok. I've edited my 3D Spyro and now I've added the wings chest plates and spikes on his back. I had a bit of trouble with the chest plates but it's still ok-ish.

Wow! These models are epic! You should make like, a kinda mini series with them!

That model just keeps on getting better. :3

Could you include a link for the thing your using? I mean, i looked all over the place and your modles are epic and im crawling in my skin(not litterly ) just to make one of my own

Thank you ! I'm now attempting to rig my model and hopefully get it animated but whether I can get it to work or not is another story. If I do manage to get it rigged correctly, I'll make an animation of Spyro running.
