Spyro's Parents? [CLOSED]

as a kid that blended our favourite forms of entertainment together.

IGN AU: At what point in Spyro's story arc will he find out that the Ape King is actually his father?

Don Meadows: Ha. Yeah. …we have had that joke a fair bit at work too. Seriously though - we're really not in a position to say who Spyro is and where he comes from as that is the key arc of this series, though there are several theories on the popular Spyro forums that are really quite close. This chapter of the story though will answer a lot of the loose threads from ANB, though obviously we will not be answering everything. The excitement of an epic is always lost when you know how it ends.

Base on what the developer said dose this mean will find out who Spyro's parents are in Legend Of Spyro 3?

I think the thing about Gaul was a joke.

It's possible Spyro doesn't even have parents, but we will find out exactly who/what he is in the third game judging by what this interview says.

And, no, that's not from the third game. That's concept art of Ignitus from the unlockable art gallery in TEN.

There are some similarities between Ignitus and Spyro, but the chances against them being related are high. BUT, on the other hand, there are some ways in which they could. With Spyro knowing fire before any other element and all.

I figure most dragons are proficient in fire breathing, what with being, y'know, dragons and all. I'd have to see more evidence for Ignitus being Spyro's dad than has been shown thus far.

Hey peoples.Yes it is me,Spyromanic.I lost my password,again. It is true that SOME dragons are proficient in breathing fire. I mean, look at the other Gaurdians. They don't breath fire.

This is true. I think the other Guardians are more of an exception to the rule, though. Cynder is clearly not any elemental Guardian (at least that we know of) and her breath attack is entirely fire. My guess is still that most dragons breathe fire by default and some of them breathe other elements, which makes them more likely to be specific Guardians.
