if any of you have beaten TEN you unlock the dragon challenges from the extras menu and if you beat all them you can play as dark spyro at any time.

Challenges? Sounds like fun.

Just wondering... do the game feature an unlockable "Arcade mode" or some way to have the game have limited lives (just like the DS Spyro 6 version)?

Because, well, the checkpoint system in Spyro 6 was WAAAAAY too forgiving and made most of the game's challenge void.

Yay! I completed the challenges and I can play as Dark Spyro! Now the game just got easier cuz u can use his convexity breath whenever u want!

DarkSpyro is Spyro when he has been infused with the Dark Master.
