this is my first attempt at making a fanfic. suggestions are accepted

Things you should know

This has nothing to do with after TLOS DOTD
However, it does mention some parts from TLOS
'The Archaius Hall' is something i made up
Spyro and Cynder are in adult form
the other dragons are in teenage form

Chapter 1
New Arrival

Deep in a crater of a large mountain, there was a huge monastery called The Archaius Hall, and living in this monastery were the two famous dragons that saved the world from total destruction, Spyro and Cynder; Along with some teenage dragons willing to train in the arts of the purple dragon. Everything was at ease, until a new arrival showed up at the entrance.

The doors to the monastery opened and standing in front of them was a dark blue dragon looking eager to start training. Her name was Solister. She may have looked like a dragon that would master the element of ice, but this was no ordinary dragon. She used a somewhat similar element to dark energy, but she used this element for good. She could even conjure up purple lightning with her bare hands. This amazed and astonished Spyro and Cynder, but they didn’t know what this would lead to.

As Solister trained more and more, she became more powerful than the other dragons. But just like The Dark Master, she would be corrupted if she allowed the dark power to surge through her. Spyro and Cynder had to be sure about this if they were to take action. Solister’s time would come when she would have to face the darkness within her.

Chapter 2
Spyro’s Tale

After training, the dragons would listen to one of Spyro’s tales. In these tales he would explain about certain events in his past. “Gather round dragons” said Spyro as he sat down. The dragons walked over to Spyro immediately; Solister followed behind. The dragons sat down in front of Spyro in a group; Solister was at the back of the group. A yellow, male dragon the same age as Solister sat next to her. “Hi Tarios” whispered Solister as Spyro started to think. “Hi” Tarios whispered back, “Yet another tale. I may have heard this one about 10 times this year”. “Hmm, this is the first time I’m hearing this tale” whispered Solister. Then visions started to appear in the dragons minds.

The Dragons saw the young Spyro fighting Gaul in the mountain of Malefor. “Yep, definitely seen this on” Tarios thought to himself. The fight continued for a while until Spyro vanquished Gaul with his dark powers. “Hmm” Solister thought to herself, “Interesting”. Finally, Spyro was freed from his dark self by Cynder and Sparx. When the vision was fading out, Solister heard a strange voice that whispered out her name. “Solister”. The voice echoed around until the vision completely faded out.

Solister just looked around, confused and puzzled. The other dragons however didn’t notice Solister and pleaded to Spyro for another vision. Strangely, Tarios heard the voice too. He looked at Solister and tried to calm her down. Spyro noticed Solister and Tarios at the back of the group. “Lesson over” Spyro said quickly to the other dragons. The dragons looked disappointed as they walked off to their quarters. Solister and Tarios however just sat there. Spyro walked over to them and sat down next to them. “What’s wrong?” asked Spyro looking down on Solister. Solister tried to regain her confidence and Tarios comforted her. “I thought I heard a name at the end of that vision” replied Solister. “What name” asked Spyro. “My name” replied Solister looking confused. “Hmm” Spyro thought, “come with me; both of you”. Spyro walked of to his quarters and Solister and Tarios followed behind him.
