THIS IS NOT ANOTHER TLoS RANT TOPIC, BUT ANOTHER DISSCUSION OF THE FUTURE SPYRO. As I hear that Metroid's newest game, Metroid: Other M, will continue on its regular series right where it left of Fusion and that game out almost 10 years ago and the whole Metroid series ran for about 25 years. The Prime series was a reboot also (2002-2007) and it will release a Trilogy pack August 24 for the Wii. What if Spyro done the same thing, Would you guys be pissed or something else? By the way, if Spyro did do another reboot, I would of been pissed off too.

Again, this is no LoS rant, just another disscusion top, so don't get an attitude on me, so Im sorry, but I want more details from peoples opinions.

Metroid =/= Spyro

One: Metroid is made by Nintendo, who's Japanese, who will recycle anything (look at Mega Man and Mario Party).

Two: Metroid is way older, so it's fanbase is larger.

Also, the good folks at Retro Studio got the formula RIGHT for the Metroid Prime games... Sierra still seems to be searching for that formula. And judging by DotD, it seems they're moving backwards! o.0

Hey more Spyro here no matter what is better than none... so long as he is a dragon... Why not?

Nah, I don't think Prime was a reboot...I think it took place between Metroid/Zero Mission and Metroid 2

But I could be wrong

prime was better than the originals because i like the whole scanning thing.

if there is a new spyro i will get it as long as it is not changed like giving spyro another voice actor. yotd and gtg had best spyro voice
